That comparison to sanitation workers is pretty spot on. But I guess, is the solution to move those people who litter, along with their neighbors who constantly report them (instead of just picking up a scrap of paper themselves), to a different city? 🤷

Wait, let me just jot this down: for everyone who didn't bother to read my entire post from start to finish—consider this a +1. 😁

😢

I want back on ZUD.

Those three topics you just moved are more essential than wedding invitations or gathering paperwork for a divorce.

You can try to justify it however you want... we weren't bothering anyone, and we certainly weren't a threat to national security.

You people are strange... truly strange.😢

Nicholas King said:Approaching this with a bit of rational energy🙂—as much as I actually possess (well, that might be an overstatement 😁)—regardless of how many disagreements I have with certain moderators, I suppose it is unfair to throw accusations of laziness at them (furthermore, my use of the word "my" here is quite generous 🤣). The reality is that they were being summoned (needlessly, if you ask me) every single time a provocateur showed up. Instead of simply ignoring the trolls, or perhaps engaging them in a verbal showdown—which, frankly, is far more effective than running to the authorities—they were essentially forced to deal with the fallout. It’s a fact that they were doing the work required of them.

It’s a somewhat blunt analogy, but it holds water: it isn't always the fault of the lazy janitors; more often than not, the blame lies with those recklessly scattering trash all over the place.

Which one are you? 😍

I want my moderator, too. 😢

Hold on, let me make a note of this: an offense for arrogance—that's a +1 in my book. 😁

So, the moderators still haven't gotten back to me regarding what role the mistress actually played in those arguments between the betrayed and the adulteresses. And why we’ve been lumped in with the group that was supposedly "trading insults, filing mutual complaints, and threatening lawsuits."

I haven't heard anything back either, and honestly, why on earth are adulteresses lumped in with long-term issues? It’s common knowledge that the Topic regarding the adulteress barely even exists compared to those other two categories!
And what lawsuits are we even talking about here? Why wasn't that settled back then?

From what I can gather, the moderatorit seem to label anyone who hasn't been cheated on as an adulteress, which just creates this massive cloud of confusion.

By the way, looking at where they've dumped us today just makes me feel even more pathetic.
Look, I don't want to be rude to my neighbors, but sticking heavy life topics like this under "Entertainment," "Time Killers," or "Casual Hangouts" is just plain immature.
And no matter how hard the moderatorit try to justify their moves, they still can't make it make sense. Like, seriously, what is with all this intense bickering, hello??? They just grabbed onto that like a drunk clinging to a porch railing.

When you take a moment to actually think about it—honestly—on one Topic, the conversation was almost entirely focused on "Household Management," while another was dedicated to "Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Know About Sex"—but this particular thread? It’s mostly just on-topic misery.

This thread is here strictly to provide a helping hand for getting those moved topics back where they belong.
It would be really wonderful if we could all just refrain from using this space for any kind of personal bickering or ego battles—otherwise, we might end up having to move this one too, right? 😍(
).🙂Thanks so much!

Yeah, maybe they'll just move us all to the Pets section🤣

There's actually a cute little sub-forum right next door

I’m genuinely curious how the moderatorit plan to handle every single new thread about a cheated spouse, an adulteress, or a mistress coming through. Honestly, people have been starting similar threads right in the middle of active chats lately, so they just get redirected to the appropriate sections depending on what happened.
Are they going to send them all to social services or something?

Despite all the explanations from the moderation team—and look, I don't personally mind if a thread gets moved, but I actually prefer keeping things in PDF format for several other reasons—I still don't get the point of moving everything around.
And what’s the deal with the mothers-in-law? What about those "old timers" groups on Reddit?
I mean, I don't think any other site has policies like this besides ZUD.

What is the actual issue the moderatorit have with those three specific threads? They haven't even done much moderating there anyway. We all just managed to hold our own and figure it out as we went along.😬

"...lately, these chats have been seeing much smaller groups of women hanging out, where conversations have shifted toward social topics that aren't exclusively about ZUD—and honestly, having three separate chats is just too much for one sub-forum..." Everything regarding this was already explained here. I really don't see what part of that is unclear or why more details would help. It's pretty obvious that for certain people, no explanation will ever be good enough.

Well, you could always just show up to the psychology sessions! It's not like the topics there aren't already overloaded from being migrated over from the alternative forums. Besides, love is basically just a psychological issue anyway, isn't it?😍

John Hill said:Alright, look, I moved this thread to where it actually belongs. And just to be clear, decisions like this aren't made by Jose White18 alone, or by me, or any single moderator acting on their own. These three specific threads have been a mess for a long time now. Originally, there was just one single discussion about cheating. Then, a few women showed up claiming they didn't fit into that specific conversation, so three separate threads about adultery were opened. We allowed them because we wanted to be accommodating; we thought splitting things up would cut down on the constant bickering by letting people group themselves by interest. Instead, it just created these little cliques that ended up warring with each other. In any other normal situation, when threads get this out of hand—where moderation becomes a nightmare because we're constantly deleting arguments—you’d just lock them down. But because we wanted to cater to the regulars who frequent these topics, we kept putting it off. Eventually, we hit on the idea of moving them to a section of the forum with more relaxed rules, so they can still have their space to hang out. As for ZUD, we might eventually open a new thread regarding infidelity for new people interested in the subject, but this time without all the fragmentation and the clan warfare.

Maybe just leave one locked Topic on ZUD containing three links to the relocated threads
so people don't end up lost when they come looking

Something like Google Maps: you click once and you're already there. 😁

I agree.
And seriously, I don't understand how that one thread where women just absolutely trash mother-in-laws can be considered a top topic.😕
It's shameful.

But honestly, where is the actual issue there?
I’ve already asked—though, predictably, I didn't get an answer—why don't you guys just offer us memberships with a limited expiration date when we sign up? It seems like such a logical step, doesn't it?

it's pretty obvious that for some people, no explanation will ever be good enough

Just like how no amount of common sense can ever satisfy those who refuse to see why acting on a whim without any oversight is a bad idea.

And you moved those threads into a PDF titled "everything with a short shelf life...", but those three threads clearly aren't temporary, no matter how much you moderators might want them to be.

Just bring back the people who were misled, so the new ones can actually find them.
