Good afternoon—it’s been months now, and my username is still completely unusable. I'm running into those same issues I mentioned in my previous posts on this thread. I don't even have an ad blocker active, yet the site keeps loading as if I'm on a dial-up connection because of those constant "server busy" messages. Interestingly, my wife uses the same computer on her own account and doesn't experience any of these problems at all.

I seem to be running into a bit of a technical snag, and I’m honestly not quite sure if the issue lies on my end or if it's something else entirely, as I've certainly never encountered anything quite like this before. It feels as though Reddit is constantly prompting me to log back in, almost as if it has forgotten who I am every few seconds. I find myself typing in my username and password over and over again—sometimes ten times in a row just to get things moving. The whole frustrating cycle looks roughly like this:

I go to the Reddit homepage to view all the subreddits, head into a specific subreddit, realize I've been logged out, attempt to log in again, navigate to a thread within that subreddit, only to find I'm logged out yet again, which leads to another login attempt, and so on, ad infinitum.

Hey there... I just noticed I got logged out of Reddit on my laptop... and then it hit me—I have absolutely no clue what my password is. I thought about just doing a reset via email, but I can't even remember the login for the email account I set up years ago. Luckily, I'm still logged in on my phone!

Anyone know a workaround for this?

Try changing your email address through the Reddit option / EDIT email & Password

How do I archive my messages?
Hi everyone, could someone explain how to archive messages? I’d rather not just delete everything. I noticed an option at the bottom of the message page that says "Save all messages as:" with XML, CSV, and Text listed. What does that actually mean? Also, what happens if I start adding new folders next to my Inbox and Sent folders? Thanks🙂

You can save your desired messages in XML, CSV, or TXT formats. Feel free to test out all three and see which one works best for you.
Folders are... well, they're just folders. You create a new folder and stash the messages you want inside. For example, if you have important private messages, you could just set up an "Important" folder.

I just watched 20 to 30 posts vanish into thin air, only for them to pop back up a few minutes later. What on earth is going on here?

And who's to say? Maybe the server glitched, or perhaps some threads were being moved and you just happened to look right when they were stuck in limbo... anything's possible.

Whenever I'm on the Wi-Fi, nothing loads. Not the website, not even through the app. Once I switch over to LTE, the Reddit site usually pops right up. Is there some kind of outage happening, or is my connection just trash? What am I even supposed to do about this? 🤔

You're not alone.
Go into your Wi-Fi settings and change your DNS to 8.8.8.8
That should fix it, at least for now.
