Having technical issues on Reddit? Ask here.

I don't know if it's just me, but I've been having some really frustrating issues lately. First off, my browsers—both Chrome and Edge—keep logging me out every thirty minutes or so, which is just incredibly annoying when you're in the middle of something. And then, to make matters worse, the multi-quote feature just stopped working entirely. Now, it seems like even the basic quote function has completely broken down. I guess things are just breaking one after another at this point. 😁
I’m kind of expecting that they might actually trim things down to fit within the limits of an X post, where only the middle section of the content ends up being published. I guess we'll see, but that feels like a possibility.

This forum is going downhill fast. Not sure if anyone else has noticed. 🙂

Honestly, I’m out here drafting my entire life in Microsoft Word just so I can copy and paste everything once this garbage site freezes up on me every 15 seconds 😠
It usually takes me about five tries just to get past the login screen 🤷

Logging in isn't an issue for me if I just check the "Remember me" box, but the forum seems stuck in December. It’s like there's no way to tell if anyone has actually posted anything new on the threads lately.

I have actually started drafting all my posts in Microsoft Word first and then just copying and pasting them over, because the site keeps logging me out every fifteen seconds... 😠
By the time I finally manage to log back in, it usually takes about five attempts... 🤷

You should try checking the "remember me" box; that ought to stop the constant logouts.

Honestly, just try refreshing the forum index a few times. Sometimes the new threads pop up instantly, but other times—and this happens more than I'd like—you have to hit refresh four or five times before the list actually updates...

What's the point? Ten different people already posted about this exact same issue popping up recently, and they all said the damn checkbox doesn't even work.

What exactly is Reddit, and why does it keep showing up at the bottom of people's posts? Is there any way to automatically strip that part out, and if so, how?

The real question is: why is this even your (technical) problem to solve, and what's the point? 😕

It keeps logging me out, and even then, I have to try several times just to accept the "Insert link"

Does anyone know what the current status is regarding new member registrations? Is there any way to sign up for the forum, and if so, how many attempts does it usually take?

As much as you might dislike the idea, upgrading the forum will be necessary. 😁

At some point, it’s simply going to become unusable...
