Tights, stockings...

HELP!
I'm on the hunt for tights in a skin tone that looks completely invisible on my legs—totally matte, zero shine. I want them practically sheer.
I picked up some "summer 10 den, ultra-sheer, no reinforced toe" tights at a Small town, USA boutique, but they have this terrible shimmer to them! The open toe is a must, though, because I'm wearing peep-toe heels with just a tiny opening at the front.

I'm getting ready to go shopping for some sturdy tights. Does anyone have suggestions on what color or pattern would look good with a light green and blue skirt? It's a tweed-like material, and I'll be wearing dark brown boots underneath.

Wolford ones are extremely matte. Model 10.🙂

Exactly. Honestly, I don't even bother socializing with them much either. As long as they’re solid black or have some decent pattern on them, I'm good.

That skirt is seriously gorgeous! 👍 I'm thinking maybe some cream-colored or brown tights would be your best bet, or honestly, even just those totally sheer skin-tone ones might look killer... 👍

I guess Victoria's Secret carries stockings in the winter and swimwear during the summer.

I have been searching quite earnestly for some in either a vibrant red or perhaps a striking gold.

Check out Victoria's Secret. Maybe they have some in those small-town US markets, like near the Atlantic coast, I guess.

They had some at Topshop too, and honestly, you might even track some down at Accessorize.

They don't have any in Miami.

Try wearing them inside out. That shine used to drive me crazy too... I flipped mine around and now they're perfect.

Hey there, my fellow forum ladies, I really need some advice! I’ve finally worked up the courage to start wearing knee-length skirts, but there's one little snag—I have varicose veins on one leg, and I really don't want them to be visible. Usually, I just wear those heavy-duty 70 denier compression tights specifically for veins, but I’m looking for something else. Does anyone know of any options I could buy that would hide them without feeling like I'm wearing thick, heavy leggings? I have a big formal event coming up and I am absolutely determined to wear a skirt.
