To me, they’re garbage—I just can't get into any of Tarantino's movies. It always feels like the only goal is to kill someone, and honestly, in Pulp Fiction, the only thing I actually enjoyed was the soundtrack. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit—Reservoir Dogs isn't exactly "trash," it's just a dumb movie in my eyes. And that guy Tarantino? He really gets under my skin; he acts like such a tough guy, but you can tell he's just a mama's boy. I mean, does he even have a single film where it isn't just constant killing? If Mel Gibson were still in his prime, he would absolutely demolish Tarantino—sure, he's older now, but back in the day? He would have crushed him.

What does that even mean? I mean—you guys know my absolute favorite scenes from Tarantino—like when George Clooney gets blindsided in "From Dusk Till Dawn" and then he just goes WIIIIIIILD!🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

that those two definitely don't hold a candle to what should have won. Personally, I think
the wins were totally undeserved compared to the other heavy hitters (Se7en, The Usual Suspects)—which, if you ask me,
are much better films.

The worst one is "Monster's Ball"... because it's just Kitsch-pornic...👎

Honestly, once you see that woman in Grindhouse with a machine gun where her leg should be, everything just clicks—that's really all you need to know about the legendary Tarantino😵

If I caught that correctly, that lady is actually in the Robert Rodriguez film.

Screw the Oscars. It's all just politics anyway.

I honestly believe that Rocky stands out as perhaps the best film ever to win an Oscar. 😉

So, look—Grindhouse is technically a joint effort between Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, though I wouldn't be surprised if the idea for the female lead came from Tarantino himself. He probably had more of a say in how it turned out—he's arguably the "better" director of the two, isn't he?
Anyway, we aren't really talking about Tarantino here, and Braveheart is, obviously, an incredible film. Personally, I don't think any movie that wins an Oscar is bad; they all earn it in their own way, so everything else is just down to personal taste.

I don't even know what to tell you guys!

I guess Quentin Tarantino just makes boring movies. He tries to act like his stuff is high art, but I don't think it really is.

Does anyone actually know what art is?

To me, art is those cliché movies that just grab you and won't let go until the credits roll. That's real talent, I suppose.

And who cares about Rocky? Rocky is a masterpiece. If they still made movies like Rocky today, maybe I'd actually head to the theater once in a while.

Maybe simple movies like Superman, Batman, Conan the Barbarian, Terminator, Deadly Weapon, Rambo, Die Hard, Predator and all those Arnold Schwarzenegger (and similar) action flicks will draw more people in. They tend to get watched over and over again by the same fans.

I mean, the proof is right there in how many remakes or sequels they make of the popular titles you were just trashing. It seems like that's the only reason the film industry stays afloat.

A movie probably needs a great atmosphere to be successful. Without that, it just doesn't work. I can't even remember an anthology title from the last decade that stuck (maybe LOTR? though everyone's forgotten that too). Also, you need a good plot, humor, and actors with CHARISMA! Charisma is everything! Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and those other fighters (who are probably grandpas now) might not be the best actors when it comes to serious scenes, but they have way more charisma than someone like Robert De Niro, Brad Pitt, or Kevin Spacey. That's where the magic happens.

One last thing I always say—a movie is just a movie. You should probably just relax and stop nitpicking every little detail. And if you're looking for deep life lessons in cinema, maybe try finding them in real life instead.

Conan the Barbarian🙏 🙏 🙏

At least I'm not the only one who feels this way. Regarding Rocky, you hit the nail on the head, but calling Superman, Batman, Conan the Barbarian, Terminator, Deadly Weapon, Rambo, Die Hard, and Predator "stupid movies" is wrong—they are cult classics! As for Tarantino, he's just acting pretentious. Honestly, he should have been sent straight to Yellowstone back in '91 to see if he could even make a decent film then. He doesn't know how to direct a real movie; none of his films have any atmosphere. They're naive, they're dull, the plots are just "let me scream at you," and the acting is terrible—especially when he's acting himself. And he calls his stuff "action"? It's just people running around and killing each other; that isn't action! Almost every movie from the nineties was great (except for Tarantino's), but in this new millennium, I don't know which movies are actually good (aside from a few exceptions). Cult classics might be old, but I'd much rather sit down and watch Robocop than watch Kill Bill or whatever other nonsense. Tarantino is just proof that the youth of today is totally lost.

Let’s be honest—Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are total garbage. 😕

Now I finally know who your clone is. Honestly—just stick to quoting yourself from now on. 🤣

I guess I just meant "dumb" movies. I was kind of trying to say they're cult classics, really. I actually love them. More than Jackie Brown, for instance (though I regret buying that crap on the original DVD)👎

As for Terminator, I pretty much know it by heart. Especially the first one. And both Superman movies too!😍

Whatever, let them go watch Malena instead.
