Laura Palmer25 said:Honestly, I actually thought 300 was one of the best films I've seen all year, regardless of what those IMDb ratings say (which often lack any actual common sense). I liked it mostly because of how original the adaptation felt and how well it captured that graphic novel vibe. Action isn't really my thing anyway, so I don't care much for that genre.

Personally, I think 300 is one of the worst movies ever made... honestly, screw 300.😬

Sure, they can throw a few bucks their way as "royalties," but it doesn't change the reality of the situation. They just strip-mine ideas and movies, repackage them, and then somehow walk away with American awards for it. It's pathetic.

I haven't actually sat down to watch Infernal Affairs, but honestly, it probably wouldn't have been worth my time anyway if those actors were just staring blankly at each other the whole time.

Some of the worst Oscar winners that come to mind: The English Patient, Chicago, Titanic, The Departed, Shakespeare in Love, and so on...

Braveheart definitely doesn't belong on that list.

Taxi Driver should've taken it over Rocky that year😁

And you know what else they do, you haters? They pay screenwriters a pittance to write the scripts, toss some scraps to the actors, and then hawk the whole thing on DVDs in Key West! Absolute crooks.
