I might end up getting banned for spamming or being offensive—honestly, I’m prepared for that—but there was just no other way to say this.

What is that even supposed to mean?

kill bill 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮 🤮

tarantina would've been better off trying this when he was 20, now he's just a kid🙂

and honestly, I don't get why everyone's hating on Braveheart so much. if you think it's some huge failure compared to other Oscar winners, just look at Titanic and 🙂

Why Titanic? Just remember Brokeback Mountain (if that's how it goes).

It’s just like how 1992 Reservoir Dogs didn't get a nomination, yet it's easily ten times better than...

Honestly, I have to say, there was this one woman who just wouldn't stop screaming, "God help me, God help me!" while we were together. But I wasn't about to let that ruin the moment; I consider myself a man who knows what he's doing, and I don't have much patience for unnecessary drama. Once I’m fully committed to the act, I don't plan on stopping until I've completely overwhelmed her, if you catch my drift. It was like something out of the Avengers—just pure intensity. I absolutely wore her out until she was completely disoriented, and then I just sat there calmly lighting up a cigarette. She looked up at me, totally dazed, and asked, "Wait, what was your name again?" To which I simply replied, "Braveheart, sweetheart. Braveheart."
Lol, what an absolute airhead.

It's spelled Brokeback—just FYI. And honestly, Brokeback didn't even snag the Oscar for Best Picture back in 2005, it was Crash.

Ronald Rodriguez12 said:So, look—Grindhouse is technically a joint effort between Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, though I wouldn't be surprised if the idea for the female lead came from Tarantino himself. He probably had more of a say in how it turned out—he's arguably the "better" director of the two, isn't he?
Anyway, we aren't really talking about Tarantino here, and Braveheart is, obviously, an incredible film. Personally, I don't think any movie that wins an Oscar is bad; they all earn it in their own way, so everything else is just down to personal taste.

Those are two separate films. Tarantino's is Death Proof, and Robert Rodriguez's is Planet Terror.

I’ve honestly read enough nonsense here to make me lose my mind.
Braveheart is bad? Where do you people live? And Rocky—you guys are seriously delusional. You won't find a better martial arts movie anywhere, and the plot, the music... I just love it. Then there's Forrest Gump. Good grief, who wrote that nonsense? I'd die of embarrassment if I actually agreed that Forrest Gump was bad. The only one that holds up is Titanic; it deserved an Oscar because making a film like that back then was incredible and felt so authentic, though I don't know about an 11/10.

So now you're saying those movies didn't deserve it, but Seven did? My God, what are people watching these days? I can already guess which movies you think deserve Oscars. You probably love stuff like Rambo, Terminator, RoboCop, or Commando, where some tough guy walks in alone with a six-shot revolver and kills fifty people like it's nothing. It’s pathetic that anyone enjoys that kind of trash. Don't tell me Gladiator is a bad movie too.

P.S. I read someone say that The Departed was a terrible movie. If that's what you meant, do us all a favor and quit; whoever wrote that clearly has no clue what they're talking about.

It’s technically one single film in the States, but over in Europe they split it into two separate releases—so I guess we're both right in a way.🙂
Then again, there is a female lead in Rodriguez's segment, but honestly... it's all pretty pathetic anyway...

Look, the Terminator is essentially an Android—just straight-up indestructible. Similarly, while RoboCop, Rambo, and Commando might seem a bit simplistic, they aren't nearly as unrealistic as something like Kill Bill or The Matrix. Sure, Rambo is a bit over-the-top, but in Commando, the guy isn't just running in with a pistol; he’s carrying enough firepower to outfit a small army! And Kill Bill—which, let's face it, is as ridiculous as all Tarantino's films—she just charges into a crowd of twenty people with a sword and slaughters them all without getting a single scratch. None of these characters rely on just a handgun; they carry enough gear to start a small war.

Well, sure, those are clearly our "greatest" films. 🙄

First, go watch the Hong Kong original, Infernal Affairs, and then come back to talk to me. ☕

Exactly. It’s not that The Departed is a bad movie—it isn't—but where do they get the nerve? They rip off a Hong Kong film just four years after the original, then parade Scorsese around like he’s some kind of visionary genius, completely ignoring the actual creators from the Far East. It’s pathetic how those filmmakers have become easy targets for intellectual property theft; it's basically just working for Hollywood at this point. To top it all off, they hand him an Oscar for it. To me, that’s the ultimate proof that the Hollywood system is rotting from the inside, paving the way for pure arrogance and mediocrity.
I’d honestly give Infernal Affairs an Oscar in a heartbeat. But hey, can you blame them? If they just painted everything yellow to look white, they might actually stand a chance. What a joke.

So, are you just going to Baratati information without mentioning they didn't even buy the remake rights from the original crew?😕

that those two definitely don't hold a candle to what should have won. Personally, I think
the wins were totally undeserved compared to the other heavy hitters (Se7en, The Usual Suspects)—which, if you ask me,
are much better films.

Don't even get me started on Rocky. 😬

Some of the worst Oscar winners that come to mind: The English Patient, Chicago, Titanic, The Departed, Shakespeare in Love, and so on...

Braveheart definitely doesn't belong on that list.

I can get behind the Chicago take, but the others actually hold some water.
