It all seems to be connected to my gut, honestly...
I had a really rough exam recently and it completely trashed my digestion. One minute it's hysterical nervous cramping, the next I'm starving or just totally out of it...
I think that might be the main cause, or maybe it's something else entirely...
I'll probably take some probiotics for a few days to balance my gut flora, then we'll see if that was actually the issue.

Hey girls 😘

It could be ovarian inflammation. Honestly, you're probably better off going to see Ginić.
I know exactly what you're going through because I'm incredibly sensitive myself. I deal with constant inflammation in my ovaries and bladder, so please, don't play around when it comes to this stuff.

Oh, I’m definitely going to see Ginić soon—I actually already have an appointment scheduled...
I know it isn't something to mess around with... that's why I couldn't even wait until my appointment with Ginić before starting this thread.
I'm just worried it might be an ovarian infection, though today it feels more like it might be my large intestine acting up... I don't know.
I just hope it's nothing serious.😢

I used to get these sharp, stabbing pains during my cycles and right in my ovaries, so I was there too.
But look, it’s not some terminal illness. It’s honestly better than dealing with kidney issues; at least this is something you can actually manage easier.

I guess we'll see what happens at the doctor's appointment in a few days.😬
Honestly, the pain isn't there today—it's actually a bit of a miracle.🤔

Don't go spiraling into a panic just yet. I spent days dealing with that exact same level of pain, absolutely miserable, until I finally went in for an ultrasound and they confirmed everything was perfectly clear.

I ended up relying on Ketoral just to deal with that kind of pain, and I actually had to hit the ER a couple of times. Turns out, I had kidney stones that had finally started moving. They prescribed me Spazmeks and Sinersul. Honestly, Spazmeks didn't do a thing for me, but the Sinersul really did the trick.

I have the exact same symptoms, but since I've already been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, I'm pretty sure that's what it is. For me, the pain usually lets up once I've had a bowel movement.

About two years ago, I started dealing with this persistent, stabbing pain in my left ovary. It would flare up for a week or two, settle down for a bit, and then come crawling back in cycles over several months. I went to see my OB-GYN, and she sent me for an ultrasound, but everything came back completely normal. Then they had me tested for chlamydia and mycoplasma because apparently, those can mess up your fallopian tubes or ovaries and cause all sorts of issues. But honestly, it didn't feel like any kind of infection; it was just that whenever the doctor tried to do a physical exam and poke around, the pain was absolutely excruciating, and she couldn't figure out what was actually wrong. To be blunt, I’ve lost quite a bit of faith in doctors lately.
Sometimes, I still feel a little twinge of that pain even today.
As for ovulation, that can get really sharp too—I can practically feel it happening every single time I'm in my fertile window.

I kept getting these sharp, stabbing pains, and after some testing, they figured out it was actually coming from my bladder... turned out to be an E. coli infection. It was happening a few times a day, pretty much consistently for a couple of months, right in that spot where the ovaries are located...

Oh, please, don't go scaring her—it definitely isn't a kidney issue 😉

It’s more likely the intestines... I deal with similar issues from time to time myself, though I usually just try to ignore them 😁

I've never really had issues before, but for the last month or so, there's been this constant light stinging and a dull sensation in my lower abdomen. It’s not intense or anything scary, just a persistent tension and those little sharp stabs.🤔
I have an appointment with Ginić soon, but today the stinging feels so strange that I'm starting to get a bit worried. I can even feel a bit of that cramping pain.
I don't have any other symptoms—no fever or unusual discharge. My period arrived right on schedule, too.
I'm wondering if this could be related to my colon.🤔>
That dull ache reminds me a bit of the soreness and weakness I usually get right before my period, so that's why I'm making the connection.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is it possible for ovarian inflammation to manifest this way?

I was in so much pain last month. It was the same thing—sometimes just a dull ache, other times this sharp, stabbing feeling. But then again, my period came through totally normal...
Once my period is over, that’s it—it's gone. Now the pain is finally gone too (knock, knock... don't let it come back).
I think it just hurt because I caught a little cold—probably from sitting on that cold surface, just like you did. I don't think it's anything serious...☕ 🥳

A friend of mine ended up in the emergency room the other day seeing Dr. Ginić because of this. They can't figure out what's wrong.

I deal with these kinds of pains quite often myself. I've never seen a doctor for them, probably just because they eventually pass...

And honestly, why don't you just head over to your primary care doctor instead of only relying on Ginić? If there really is something going on, maybe they’ll actually have more insight, and then you won't have to spend all this time guessing what it could possibly be.

So, here’s what happened...
It looks like all that exam stress was actually playing tricks on me...
Turns out it was my gut—once my digestion finally leveled out, everything else calmed down too..
Regardless, I'm still heading over to see Ginić so she can take a look at my ovaries. 😬

Hi.
So, here’s the situation. A few days after my period, I often get this unpleasant pain—kind of a sharp, stabbing sensation—in both my ovary and my kidney. Sometimes it feels like the pain is radiating from one to the other; I can't quite tell. It hits hardest when I sit down, making both areas ache simultaneously. The discomfort lasts for a few days and then just fades away. On top of that, I deal with frequent discharge. I suspect my ovarian cysts might be contributing to this, since my gynecologist almost always finds them during exams. Fortunately, they're just fluid-filled, so they tend to rupture on their own. I’ve read online that motherwort tea is supposed to help with ovarian cysts (and supposedly boosts fertility, though pregnancy isn't exactly on my agenda—I just want the cysts gone). Has anyone else dealt with these specific symptoms? Did you ever actually figure out the cause?

If you're dealing with constant pain every single day, that's definitely not right... you really need to get down to the gynecologist's office as soon as possible,
but if it's just that stuff happening before the discharge (like it happens to me sometimes during my fertile window, or even just when I catch a chill in my lower back or whatever)... then it’s probably totally normal...

Everything was fine at Ginić's...
It was about colon issues... plus all the stress from exams 😬
The exam is over, but it's been three weeks now and still nothing 🙂

It’s either all or nothing—either you're clear or there's an infection. You should probably go get an ultrasound and a urine culture just to be sure.

Like I mentioned earlier, that wasn't it...
everything is sorted out now 🙂

In my case, it turned out to be my intestines 😬
