God knows what's going on. It isn't my first time dealing with this, yet here I am today, feeling like nothing even happened. I don't buy the idea that I'm just being paranoid. Honestly, it feels more physical; whenever I get that sharp, uncomfortable pain, there’s always this discharge—almost like some kind of heavy leakage... 🙂 and how else am I supposed to describe it? 😁

I've never really had issues before, but for the last month or so, there's been this constant light stinging and a dull sensation in my lower abdomen. It’s not intense or anything scary, just a persistent tension and those little sharp stabs.🤔
I have an appointment with Ginić soon, but today the stinging feels so strange that I'm starting to get a bit worried. I can even feel a bit of that cramping pain.
I don't have any other symptoms—no fever or unusual discharge. My period arrived right on schedule, too.
I'm wondering if this could be related to my colon.🤔>
That dull ache reminds me a bit of the soreness and weakness I usually get right before my period, so that's why I'm making the connection.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is it possible for ovarian inflammation to manifest this way?

Maybe it was just early appendicitis... I had those exact same symptoms once.😍

I thought the exact same thing immediately, but it feels more like it's lower down... I've gone through vet school, so I know a little bit about anatomy and medicine.😬
I hope you're not just talking... honestly, it's already been three weeks, Mir.
I hope things stay that way. 🙂

I’m dealing with all of that too, but on top of everything else, there’s been blood in my urine for about nine months now. Nobody seems to have a clue what’s going on; I’ve gone through every doctor you can think of, and they all come up empty-handed, yet the pain just keeps coming—this dull, heavy ache that just leaves me feeling completely wiped out and exhausted.🤷
I honestly don’t even know who to turn to anymore.

Maybe it’s related to your urinary tract? Could it be cystitis that’s turned chronic?

So, did you end up going in for the biopsy (because of the inflammation)?

I didn't... I mean, I could have, but since I've had these symptoms for three weeks now—plus it only lasted a few days back when I was dealing with a nasty exam—I guess I just kind of forgot about it...
It only crosses my mind whenever I scroll through Facebook and see a thread about it...
Ginić did a full check-up on me and said everything seems fine... Apparently, appendicitis can be hereditary too, though I don't think anyone in my family has ever dealt with it for generations...
I've had issues with my ovaries and digestion before, sure... but specifically the appendix? No one...

Maybe it passed. It wasn't anything major back then anyway... just a dull, mild ache...🤔

None of my people have ever dealt with appendicitis—not one of them—but me? Yeah, I’ve been there. And I know exactly what triggered it, too: food, obviously, and not drinking nearly enough water. There were two specific times when I was just *so* hungry—like, starving—that I ended up eating way too fast and barely even chewing my bites properly. Both times, I ended up straight in the Emergency Room. The second time around, they actually had to go in and operate. 😳

Hi,

So, here’s the deal: I’m on day 4 of my period, and just like usual, the first three days were pretty painful... but then yesterday, my left ovary (which happens to be polycystic, by the way) started absolutely killing me... and it just won't quit.
I can't get an appointment with my gynecologist right now, and honestly, I'm starting to freak out a little bit.
Because nothing seems to be touching this pain; nothing helps.
I actually had some issues with my kidneys and bladder recently too, so I'm wondering if maybe everything is somehow connected...
I'm not sure if I'll be able to see a specialist before next week... but yeah, I'm feeling a little scared.
It really weirds me out that the pain isn't letting up, especially since I've never really had intense pain during my period like this before.

I’m dealing with the exact same thing. It’s that specific kind of pain—it’s hard to put into words, honestly. I went to my OB-GYN and they did an ultrasound, which showed everything was clear. Apparently, they aren't dangerous. My doctor explained that they basically act as a barrier, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus, so getting pregnant can be a bit more of a struggle. I actually started crying right there, but he calmed me down—told me everything would be fine and that the baby will come, just maybe not in the very first month! He recommended I try birth control since my cycles might be irregular. So yeah, don't worry, it's all going to be okay!

It's most likely tied to this stupid weather change, but you should definitely head to the doctor—you've got nothing to lose.

Last time I saw Dr. Ginić, I complained about the exact same thing—pain in my lower abdomen. He told me it was just my spine or something like that... because of poor posture and sitting incorrectly and whatever... and honestly... I really do sit a lot.🤷 It really might just be coming from your back.🤷

Hehe, I had this weird, nagging sensation in my left ovary for like two or three months straight, and then out of nowhere, they find this cyst right above my uterus that I’m gonna have to get removed. Honestly, just go see Ginić for an ultrasound to be absolutely sure what you're dealing with; if they are actually cysts, they'll tell you right away because you can see the shadows on the ultrasound. 🙂

Well, here I am dealing with this stabbing ovarian pain too... 🙂
So, here’s how the story goes: before I even started taking birth control, I was seeing Dr. Ginić for exams and ultrasounds and all that. She told me I had cysts on my ovaries, but that they would clear up once I started hormone pills. So, I was taking them—but back then, I wasn't getting regular ultrasounds, so I honestly don't know if anything actually changed... and now it's time for my two-month break (which is happening right now). Basically, she told me that once I start this break, I should get my bloodwork done along with all those tests I did before starting the pills—just to see if everything is okay...
My bloodwork came back fine, but there were quite a few bacteria in my urine. She suggested I drink that nasty urological tea to clear it up, but I have to admit—I haven't really been drinking it since she told me; I just stick to regular tea. And on the ultrasound, the cysts showed up again! But she says—again—that they'll go away once I start the pills again...
Now, the thing is—when I went for this last exam, I hadn't been on the pills for maybe two weeks—so is it possible they appeared that fast, or maybe they never actually went away?
And during that last exam, she pokes at my stomach—does it hurt? No, it doesn't—everything seems fine. I hadn't even made it home before—of course, my stupid ovary starts stabbing me!
I was reading about cysts on that medical website—and they completely terrified me... 😢
What could be causing this stabbing sensation, and what am I supposed to do? I just started my period—but the stabbing is still there... maybe it'll stop during the day... I don't know... 🤷

I'm honestly not sure if what I'm dealing with is gynecological or something else entirely—sorry if I've posted this in the wrong PDF. Basically, back in July, I ended up in the ER because of this intense pain in my lower right abdomen. I couldn't even eat because the nausea was so bad. The pain went on for days, so the doctor initially suspected appendicitis. However, they didn't find anything at the ER besides a little bit of bacteria in my urine; everything looked fine on the ultrasound, so they just told me to go see a gynecologist. I’ve had cysts on both ovaries before, but during the exam, the gynecologist said my ovaries looked clear. That didn't help much, though, because the pain came roaring back a month later, right before my period, and then my next period was late. This month has been brutal: heavy pain all over my abdomen, especially the lower part, cramps, sharp stabbing sensations, pain around my right hip and lower spine, and this dull ache that pops up around my belly button. Right now, I'm in the middle of switching gynecologists, but the one I moved to isn't accepting Medicare until the New Year, and I simply don't have the cash for a private specialist. I don't know if anyone here has gone through something similar? I just need some direction on where to even start. It's not quite every single day, but it feels like it most of the time, and there are days when it feels like period cramps so bad I can barely walk.

I'm actually in a pretty similar spot myself. Honestly, it might be some kind of lingering inflammation from chlamydia. Maybe try getting some swabs done? Though, I guess it's a long shot that they'll even catch it if you've had it for a while. PS: Are you noticing any heavy discharge lately?

Not at all. I already had the swabs done, and once again—besides just basic bacteria—there was absolutely nothing else found...

What do you mean by nothing besides bacteria? I guess if there's bacteria, it probably caused the inflammation.

I ended up getting vaginal swabs; he mentioned they were probably from the pool. I was actually asking about the culture results—whether they showed any specific infections or diseases.
