Charles Kern28 said:^^ @ Jonathan Perez88 - People say Mango's sizing is all over the place—like, totally inconsistent, even if you're ordering your usual size. It feels like a bit of a gamble. I might just hunt for a different dress in this size, maybe for you too. Sadly, their plus-size line is online-only... So, I think I'll stick to New Look, ASOS, or Evans. I've never had a bad run with them.

Ugh, I mean, Evans and New Look definitely have some cute stuff, but the shipping costs? Absolutely criminal. It's just way too expensive.

I have a few pieces from the Mango Violet line—everything fits my actual size perfectly 🤷
—and honestly, it’s the same story with Next and ASOS. I always order the exact same sizes, and they always hit the mark 😁

@cipelić - that's exactly why we do group orders 🙂 I was actually asking here last week who else was hitting up New Look 🙂 Just give me a shout whenever you're feeling it and we can easily work out the details 🙂

@dustycyclist72 - Well, lucky you! 😁 I guess it really depends on the cut, honestly. This dress definitely wouldn't be a size 22 at ASOS. 😁

Here’s some info for those who were asking—the s.oliver.eu site actually has a specific line for fuller figures called Triangle, and they ship directly to the States 🙂 Also, just a heads-up, the Lindex store carries larger sizes too

Take a look at this. Local manufacturers making some seriously beautiful, high-quality sweats—honestly, the quality is there. Prices are pretty reasonable too, which is a plus—and they’ve got spots in Split and Samoboru if you're looking. Plus, they have absolutely every size available 😉

Nice, and from what I can see, shipping isn't even that bad—just 5 bucks. Thank God they don't do cash on delivery, or I’d probably end up messing something up.🤦

I actually picked up two tees and a button-down from their plus-size line a few years back. They weren't cheap, and while the shirt was alright—kind of mid—the tees were pretty rough. The color washed out almost immediately, and they stretched wide but shrunk short. Total mess.👎
Maybe the quality's better now? Who knows.

Anyway, I'm thinking about selling some stuff I have lying around. It's mostly stuff I ordered online that didn't fit right, so it's never really been worn. Just washed it and tucked it away in the closet... because, you know, maybe I'll lose weight, or god forbid, gain it. It goes how it goes.😵
Since I've never really sold anything or bought stuff this way before, I'm kind of lost on where to even post this. If you guys have any tips, let me know. I'm looking at US sizes 18/20, depending on the cut.

DM me if you have any tunics or pants in a size 20.🙂

Hey, what's up!

Anyone here ever picked anything up from Next? I was wondering what their numbers are looking like lately... just curious if they're actually legit or what.
There's no metric system here, just standard numbers... and I honestly have no clue how to convert them. I guess I'm just stuck.

It was my first time ordering, so I started with three pieces from Mango Outlet, specifically from the Violeta plus-size line. Ordered on the 6th, it arrived in Chicago on the 13th, and would have reached me by the 16th, but I had to reschedule since I wasn't home. It ended up arriving on Tuesday, the 17th.

Ordered two tops and one pair of pants. I worried the tops would be too big and the pants too small, but it was actually the opposite. The pants are a bit loose—I could have gone with a smaller size—but they'll do just fine.

Went with an XXL; it fits perfectly. My bust is my main concern, usually wearing a 40G bra.

Also chose an XXL. Fits like a glove.
Both the shirt and the blouse are a good length.

The pants are a little baggy in the thighs. I grabbed an XL, though an L probably would have worked.

Overall, satisfied.

Totally reliable, go ahead and order. They'll have it at your door in 3 days. 👍

I totally am. I already grabbed mine and wore the dress out. It was lovely. Seriously, one of my favorite pieces so far.
As for sizing, there weren't any reviews on our US site, but I saw a review on the UK site saying you should probably size down. So I went with a smaller size, and honestly? It fits perfectly—like, length and width, just spot on.
Highly recommend.

I'm honestly so happy. I end up ordering something every single month because I’m just that obsessed with their material quality and style. I can't praise them enough.

Where in the States can I actually find some decent formal dresses—either short or maxi, I really don't care which—in a size 8 or 10?

I’ve already wasted my time hitting up H&M, Zara, Mango, and this one massive store that was just a total bust... 😢 I have a wedding coming up in August and, honestly, I haven't the slightest clue what I'm supposed to wear.

Peek & Cloppenburg. Last year, I found an absolute mountain of options there. A bit pricier, sure—I don't think anything was under $75 🤔.

Next online. 😉
It seems to me that most dresses are standardly cut for a UK size 16—though, in reality, there are plenty of them that stretch all the way up to a 22. 😉
Add it within a week. 😁

It’s a concept that sounds deceptively simple—something "sent by air"—yet it carries a certain weight when you actually stop to consider the logistics involved. It brings to mind those moments where everything feels effortless, almost ethereal, like a message caught in a breeze or a package dropped from a drone over a sprawling suburb in Chicago. There is a lightness to it, certainly—a lack of friction that we all crave in our increasingly cluttered lives—but there is also an inherent unpredictability. You can control the launch, sure, but once that thing is airborne, it belongs to the elements. It’s much like a well-laid plan in a corporate boardroom; you can map out every trajectory and anticipate every gust of wind, but eventually, you have to let go and hope the atmosphere carries your intentions exactly where they need to go.

Look, this wedding is actually a huge deal for me, so I’d much rather try things on in person (thanks, Jonathan Perez88!), but I guess I'll just check out this Next site online whenever I end up needing a dress for some other random occasion. 🙂

Okay, another girl question here: how on earth do you stop that annoying chub rub/chafing/redness from happening when your thighs rub together while walking? 😢

I'm buying this. One package lasts me two summers without any issues—I grab the large one for home and a small one for my purse to touch things up on the go. Thanks to this, I don't have to worry about messing up my skirts or dresses 🙏. I'm not sure if you can find anything like this in local shops here, so I just get mine on eBay.
