Hey guys,

Quick question—for those of you shopping at Evans, have they started hitting you guys with shipping fees lately? Like, did it just randomly kick in for you, or was it always there?
Because today was the first time they actually tried to charge me for shipping since I started buying from them. Total joke.

Honestly, C&A actually puts out some killer pieces for curvy girls...
They’re even better than the stuff they have for the skinny crowd, 😉
not even kidding.

Look, they aren't necessarily more stylish 🤣, but there's plenty of variety... thank God I have those two shops right near me, otherwise I’d have to drive all the way to the city just to find something to wear.

I actually picked up some great jeans at Takko recently. I wanted a different pair, but they didn't have my size—only larger ones. It honestly made me feel like I'd gain weight just to fit into them 🤣.

Vic, listen... I am definitely not rocking an S-to-M size 🥳
..but honestly? The stuff in those two shops is way cuter on curvy women than it is on someone like me.
I’m obsessed with those little tops they have at C&A—perfect for them... and don't even get me started on those tunics they always carry, they're killer.
So yeah, just wanted to give those two boutiques a quick shout-out.😉

Anyone know where I can find black stretchy jeans?
Since it's been forever since I last bought jeans, I have no clue what size I even am. Honestly, I just gave up once I saw all those tiny numbers where a 40 looks more like a 32... I was at H&M recently and tried on some black jeans—non-stretch, obviously—in a 52, and they wouldn't even go on. Then I tried some shorts in a 40, which were basically drowning me. At home, I have a pair of C&A jeans in a 46 that are way too big, yet some C&A pants in a 42 fit like they're shrinking. I realize it probably all comes down to the cut and the stretch factor, but I guess I'm just losing the will to keep searching.

I've been checking out prices, and honestly, even when they're on sale, most stuff still ends up costing more than $53. It's kind of wild. How do you even deal with customs?

Usually there’s like a 20 to 25 percent discount, and if I score stuff from the clearance section, I can get items for as low as 17 bucks since shipping was free. Honestly, everything goes through customs totally fine for me, though sometimes I hit the 22 dollar mark and it’s still no big deal.

Did you actually look for stretchy ones when you were at C&A?
My girl picked up some dark blue ones there like a week or two ago... I didn't catch the size...
But anyway, they're great. They don't feel like those weird skinny jeggings either...
They actually feel like real denim.😉

Where in Seattle can I find something nice for a wedding? Not looking for a dress, just some black trousers and a dressy top. I once saw a boutique called Moni in a department store that mentioned they carried plus sizes...

Maybe check out Marks & Spencer at the Tower mall?

My mom and I picked up some bras at Target recently. Honestly, I shop there mostly because it’s budget-friendly and they actually carry larger sizes. We stumbled upon this deal for two bras for $15. They came with little storage pouches and were 100% cotton. Perfect for lounging around the house. Seriously, these are hands down the best bras I've ever owned. They are soft, yet they provide amazing support—okay, I already said that, but it's true! I can't remember if they still have them in stock. I bought mine at the outlet in Columbus, and the options were either black mixed with gray and little black flowers, or black mixed with white and black flowers. I can't find a photo of them online anywhere.

Has anyone actually tried Ulla Poppenken bras? Like, what's the verdict on quality and are they worth the price tag?

I’ve tried them—honestly, it’s the best bra I’ve ever owned. Super comfortable, doesn't dig in, and the straps actually stay put. I usually wear a 34B, which can be a bit tricky to find. It cost me $67, and even though I wash it every other day, it’s still going strong. It isn't brand new, obviously, but it holds its shape perfectly and hasn't lost any support...

Has any of you girls been to the Ulta in Orlando lately? I’m heading there in a few days and I’m dying to know about their formal dress prices... how’s the selection looking? I’m a size 16.

So, I picked up some jeans at Target, and honestly? I’m kind of obsessed. Usually, I’m rocking a size 14, but these are a 12—and I’ll be real, once they stretch out from wearing them all day, I might even be able to squeeze into a 10. Though, knowing how denim works, once they hit the laundry, they'll probably snap right back to being a 12.
Let me dig through my camera roll for a pic. Anyway, they are $67, and I snagged them while they were doing a massive 25% off sale.
Long story short: highly recommend! 👍

edit: I can't find the exact link on their site anymore, but they’re super similar to the Sally straight leg ones. Basically, if you’re always struggling because the waist feels "too huge" in other brands, or if you have those long, lean legs and love wearing your jeans a bit low on the hips, these are your holy grail. 😉

Man, I seriously miss Oltre so much right now. 😢
I used to know that if I couldn't find anything anywhere else, I could always count on them to have it, you know? But lately—and this is just me guessing, so don't take it as gospel—everything just feels... off. Like, nothing quite hits the mark anymore. Especially when it comes to tees and button-downs...

So I hit up Ulta, and honestly... total letdown. They’re supposedly getting new stock in about two weeks, but right now? Zero festive vibes. I tried on a bunch of stuff, but nothing actually looked good—everything just made me look way wider than I am... plus, it's pricey. I mean, the quality is top-tier, so I get why they charge more, but still. Then I swung by ModCloth—or whatever they call it—over in Orlando, and picked up this white short-sleeved blazer and a navy skirt. It fits like a dream, perfectly tailored... unlike everything at Ulta. Everything there is just these baggy, shapeless sacks from the armpits down... which I think looks terrible on anyone with curves. Definitely doesn't work for me.
