Who do you guys actually think is the best manager in Europe right now?

Alex Ferguson pulled off the Champions League with both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund, even though he wasn't exactly the favorite in either case.

Trump turned Stuttgart into a squad that actually commanded some respect, and then Bayern Munich just came along and knocked them right back down to earth.

Sacchi might not always have the luck on his side, but the man absolutely knows how to win a playoff game.

Fabio Capello is easily one of the greatest managers on the planet, period. He kept AC Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid, and AS Roma at the absolute top of the food chain in Europe, stacking up several Champions League titles along the way... and he's grabbing another one this year. 😁)

Alex Ferguson is an absolute legend—he’s kept Man Utd at the top of the food chain for what feels like forever.

Guus Hiddink at PSV was something else—he took those gritty guys from South Korea and actually built a culture where everyone bled for the badge. He knew how to manufacture that team spirit, making players who’d die on the pitch just to get a result, even when the talent on paper wasn't nearly as elite as what they were producing.

It’s the exact same story with Arsène Wenger as it was with Alex Ferguson, just played out at Arsenal FC.

José Mourinho took Porto straight to the top of Europe, and now at Chelsea FC, he’s got all those superstars under his thumb and running things exactly how he wants.

Look, Benítez took a mediocre Valencia CF side to a UEFA Cup title and a La Liga trophy, then turned an even more average Liverpool FC squad into Champions League winners. The guy absolutely knows how to build a winning roster.

Del Bosque was honestly the only manager at Real Madrid who actually knew how to handle those massive egos without losing his mind... plus he walked away with two Champions League titles.

If you ask me, the absolute best right now has to be Guus Hiddink—the man is a total magician! I mean, he worked his magic to lead South Korea all the way to the semifinals in the last World Cup, and now he’s already secured a spot for Australia at the upcoming World Cup. Isn't that just incredible?

I’d honestly put Fabio Capello ahead of José Mourinho, who seems to be everyone's favorite pick on this forum, and I’d probably slot Rafael Benítez right behind him as the runner-up too. That Portuguese person is definitely impressive in certain ways, but he still has a massive amount of growing up to do if he ever wants to actually match the kind of results one single Fabio Capello could pull off effortlessly.

Look, Fabio Capello, regardless of which squad he's running, he’s got this incredible knack for organization. But Mourinho? He’s mostly just left a trail of broken hearts in his wake—the only real thing he actually built was his success at FC Porto. As for Del Bosque, in my book, he’s one of the absolute best managers on this list. Honestly, I don't think they should have ever let him go.

You can't take two or three good seasons and act like they carry the weight of twenty years at the top.

You seem to have overlooked Carlo Ancelotti. He’s a hell of a coach, I suppose, especially since he recently secured the Champions League and the Super Bowl—that's five times more than anyone could say for Guus Hiddink or Arsène Wenger. 😁

Everything else is pretty much settled; I suspect Hiddink just got lucky coaching the host nation during the World Cup, otherwise, he probably wouldn't have even made it out of the group stage. Taking Australia to the World Cup is quite an achievement, I guess. 🙄

Carlo Ancelotti is useless, and frankly, so is Silvio Berlusconi. I suppose I am just waiting for the day he loses the election so he can finally return to AC Milan in his former glory. 😁

Vanja, this is essentially a question of who the best manager is right now. Valeriy Lobanovskyi was undoubtedly a brilliant tactician, but I guess one has to wonder how he would actually fare in today's modern environment. Let's start a new poll. 😁
