I personally have quite a few Levi’s—and sure, the quality is there—but I’m just not feeling them lately... honestly, I’m at a bit of a loss when it comes to finding pants I actually like. It feels like everywhere I look, nothing really catches my eye...:(

So I hit up Zara. Picked up some standard straight-leg jeans—you know I’m not really a skinny jeans kind of person—for $123. Honestly, I think that's a pretty fair price for a good pair of denim.

I was scouting the city today for some decent jeans, but everything I found was total trash except for Levi's 501s. Personally, they’re the cleanest cut out there—they make a backside look great, especially on an athlete, but man, they cost $183. I’ve got a pair of 501s I’ve been rocking for over six years now; they’re all faded and beat up, but they look killer. I wouldn't sell them even if someone offered me $167.

Honestly, Dolce & Gabbana gives you way more bang for your buck than Diesel at that price point. If you’re looking for a solid slim fit, Hugo Boss or even the Versace collection have these straight-cut jeans for around $110 $500—they’re definitely more traditional, but they look sharp. They beat those overpriced, overly polished Dsquared pairs any day of the week.

Does anyone know if there's a Nudie Jeans store anywhere in the NYC area?

It’s actually quite funny how life works out; I had been scouring every single store for a pair of slim black jeans that wouldn't make my legs look like absolute tree trunks, only to stumble upon them in the most unexpected corner of Miss Selfridge. I mean, honestly, what was I thinking, wasting all that time hitting up every mediocre shop in town
just to finally find them at MS..

I’m in the same boat—always hunting for 32/32s. I usually end up finding what I need at Diesel or Replay, but mostly Diesel; they actually carry some decent stuff. In fact, my last five or six pairs have all come from there...

Look, you either go with the Levi's Red Label—the red tab, the absolute classic—or you just don't bother. This is real denim, not that "new fashion" nonsense they try to push on us. From this day forward, I’m officially a proud owner.🙂

Now these are some solid jeans right here.😍
Those early Diesel pairs were absolutely insane, but there’s no way they’d ever catch on in a place like NYC.😢

So, 🙂...I'm on the shorter side and really need some jeans. I can't stand that super skinny look; I much prefer a classic fit or maybe something slightly flared 🙂...Brands like Diesel or Replay are honestly out of my budget, though I can always make Levi's work 😍
Does anyone else deal with this? Like, having a similar build... any specific models or places you recommend? 🙂🙂

That’s just how I build things. If you're looking for something reliable, go check out Levi's models—they're worth a shot. Personally, I always end up trimming everything down anyway. I usually just grab my gear at the local flea market because they have way more variety and the quality is awesome. But hey, to each their own!

Has anyone actually seen these pants before? They seem to have been tailored more like trousers:

I’m actually bracing myself for a massive denim shopping trip this week, and honestly, I’m already feeling a bit nauseous thinking about it... Is it just me, or is it impossible to find a decent pair of jeans in this city that actually fits right? 😕🙄

Never seen them, but these look way too good. Now I'm curious too, I guess.

Ugh, I’m back at it again... on the hunt for denim...
My issue—and please, bear with me because this might sound a bit ridiculous—is that my butt is just too flat. It sounds funny, I know, but it's a real struggle. The thing isn't even finding jeans that fit the width of my hips; I can usually find that much easier. The actual nightmare is the cut. Like, 99.99% of what I try fits the waist perfectly, but the shape is just... wrong. They completely flatten everything out and honestly, they end up deforming my silhouette. Not to mention, they are incredibly uncomfortable to wear for more than five minutes.
I really don't want to resort to wearing baggy, oversized clothes because, well, I actually like my butt, so that option is pretty much out of the question.🙂
Does anyone else here deal with this kind of thing? Is there a specific brand out there that actually takes curves into account when they design their cuts?
Thanks

Seven for All Mankind!!!! I honestly haven't looked at any other denim brands since I first discovered them. Their jeans give me the most incredible lift... they just fit like a glove!!!

Yeah, they're good. They're just a little pricey 🙄. Diesel is top-tier stuff. If you spot them on sale somewhere, grab them immediately. I usually pick them up in the UK for about $6, while 7 For All Mankind goes for around $8 at TJ Maxx.

I’m running into the exact same issue! I actually came home yesterday just totally frazzled after spending the entire day bouncing from store to store, just hoping—praying, really—that I could find some decent jeans at a somewhat reasonable price point, but honestly, nothing. I mean, Mango has some pretty cute styles, I suppose, but every single cut they have seems to completely flatten out my butt, so I eventually just gave up and decided that the only way I’m ever going to look good is by shelling out for those high-end designer pairs that actually fit right.🙄
Diesel, easily the best jeans on the planet.👍
