Does anyone know where I can find a Seven for All Mankind store in the city? 😳 Also, what’s the damage like regarding their prices lately? 😁

Wait, you’re seriously suggesting we look at those prices? Give me a break. As far as I can recall, the rates back at CCA were actually pretty standard—nothing out of the ordinary for the market. But let's not pretend this is "normal." It's just how things have always been handled there. $500-2000

uuuuuu....
So, I just picked up my last two pairs of denim from Diesel, and I’ve been sitting here thinking—maybe I should actually ask the girls on this forum for some advice. I was wondering if there might be something out there that's a bit more budget-friendly... because, well, let's face it, those prices are getting pretty ridiculous lately...

Dana Foster6 said:The most critical thing for me is that they look absolutely stunning on my frame—I’m talking super shallow, narrow, and a tight, skinny cut... I just live for that high-waisted, snatched look! 😍 And if possible, I’d love for them to have just a touch of stretch so they hug everything perfectly without flattening out my curves... 🙂

I absolutely cannot stand those low-rise jeans that just swallow your curves whole... it’s honestly infuriating because if you’re going to wear denim shorts, they need to look absolutely flawless on your body, or why even bother at all? And thank God heaven exists because skinny jeans were invented for us slender girls, truly a lifesaver for anyone with a slim build...

Yeah, exactly. And they didn't even go with the trapezoid cut...

Honestly, I can only hope they look decent on me, because everything feels so oversized that I look like I put my clothes on inside out.😳

And yeah, thank God for skinny jeans—even if I’ve officially given up on denim altogether for the reason I just mentioned.😁

As long as they aren't too polished or worn out...
They come in dozens—except for sirens, of course.
Let's hope they don't run me over 200 bucks.
I guess I'll just take the win if they look good on me...
Max & Co works best for me.

I didn't see this thread on the first two pages, so I stopped looking... I'm not exactly a fashion expert, but I figured a PDF about style wouldn't be complete without a topic like this. 😁

So... the perfect pair of jeans. Who actually owns them, and where did you find them? 🙂

What are your go-to criteria when you're shopping?

Which cuts actually work for different body types?

What colors do you usually lean toward, and do you wear them out often? Can you actually dress them up to look polished, or are they strictly casual? 🤷

Please feel free to post pictures, and if you can, mention the brand too. 🙂

I’m asking because, honestly, after nearly two decades of wearing denim, I still haven't found "the ones." 😵

If I finally find a pair that makes my butt look great (which is a rare miracle...), then they never fit right in the legs, or there’s a massive gap at the waist. I'm not exactly toned, if I'm being honest. 😉

On top of that, the 100% cotton ones stretch out almost immediately while I'm wearing them, so they end up sagging, but the ones with stretch feel way too tight.

Truth be told, I haven't bought new jeans in ages—it feels like centuries. Believe it or not, I only have one pair in my entire closet. Just one. They make my curves look amazing, but since they have no stretch, I have to wash them after every single wear just to get them to shrink back down. And I only bought them two years ago on a whim.

Come on, help a girl out!

And seriously, send pictures if you can! 😉
Thanks!

I love it—seriously, I need this right now.🙂

If anyone actually knows where to find denim overalls that are custom-tailored like actual trousers, please speak up!

A friend of mine picked up a pair just like those while she was traveling through Europe... I think she got them at H&M or maybe Mango... though she did spot some really similar ones on sale over at X-Large back home...

Anyone seen the jeans at Tally Weijl lately? I feel like they have some decent styles, but I’m honestly too hesitant to drop money $117 on them if they're just going to stretch out and fall apart after two wears. 🤷

So, my friend was telling me—and she’s usually pretty spot on about this stuff—that basically her entire denim collection comes from Tally Weijl. She’s actually super happy with them, too. Apparently, they don't lose their shape or get all stretched out after a couple of washes, which I guess makes them actually worth the money if you're looking at the long term. Personally, though... I don't know, I just don't really dig their styles much, otherwise I probably would've picked some up for myself myself.

Thanks. 🙂

Honestly, they aren't anything special to me either—but I've been hunting for jeans for weeks now and can't find a single decent pair... Everything is either way too big, too small, or just fits catastrophically. These were the only ones that were even remotely okay. I don't know what happened; I used to be able to buy jeans without any issues at all. 😕

Well, I have something similar—Gas. They feature those specific pockets and that tapered fit, though they are a bit lighter in shade than the ones pictured here.

My issue—and please, bear with me because this might sound a bit ridiculous—is that my butt is just too flat. It sounds funny, I know, but it's a real struggle. The thing isn't even finding jeans that fit the width of my hips; I can usually find that much easier. The actual nightmare is the cut. Like, 99.99% of what I try fits the waist perfectly, but the shape is just... wrong. They completely flatten everything out and honestly, they end up deforming my silhouette. Not to mention, they are incredibly uncomfortable to wear for more than five minutes.
I really don't want to resort to wearing baggy, oversized clothes because, well, I actually like my butt, so that option is pretty much out of the question.🙂
Does anyone else here deal with this kind of thing? Is there a specific brand out there that actually takes curves into account when they design their cuts?
Thanks

I understand you completely. I can't find a decent pair of jeans anywhere anymore. I have two pairs that fit perfectly, but they're ancient and practically falling apart at the seams😢. I tried looking for the same models from the brand I currently own, but nothing fits—they’ve switched to these absurd, nonsensical cuts lately.
If you find anything, let me know.😉

😕

What kind of experiences have you guys had with denim brands IN GENERAL? I’m thinking along the lines of Diesel, Levi's, Wrangler, Lee... maybe even some of those boutique labels.
