Thomas Collins60 said:Hey, just curious—are yours Wrangler or Lee at the end?😕

Hey, Lee! What's up?
Picked these up at the Wrangler store in Baton Rouge!

So, you've got Lee in one corner and Wrangler in the other—it’s like comparing apples to oranges. Honestly, it feels like Wrangler just holds their own against Lee, kind of how a Mustang keeps pace with a Wrangler in a river race. 🤷

I know!
I mentioned a few posts above that they're Lee, and the shop is called Wrangler! 😬

Maybe this sounds ridiculous to some of you 😁, but does anyone else get genuinely annoyed by how most black denim just... aggressively attracts dust 😠? I mean, you think you’ve found the absolute perfect pair of jeans—the holy grail of denim—and you pull the trigger on them, only to realize halfway through the day that they basically act like a magnet for every speck of lint in the atmosphere 😢

@electriccrane67: I still think the waist is a bit too low for me, honestly.😢
But thank you so much for all the effort, you're an absolute gem.😍

Electriccrane67, those sneakers are killer—they look great on you!
Quick question though—do they stretch out much after wearing them for a bit?
Every pair of jeans I own seems to grow two sizes once I actually wear them, especially the stretchy ones. I really need some that stay tight.

p.s. Where can I find good black denim? (Something like that Lee model Electriccrane67 is rocking?)

Whatever, round two! Let's go!
Damn, that waist is insanely low! 🥵 😬

I'm not even kidding, they haven't spread out one bit! And honestly? They're still just as soft as they were on day one. 😍 These fit me like a glove! And honestly, that stretchy waistband at the top is everything. They’re so comfy and flexible. Best jeans I’ve ever owned—and I’ve rocked Levi’s classics, Lee, and Wrangler before, but these? Total game changer! 🙏 So yeah, if you can get your hands on them, I totally recommend them! Grab 'em while they're hot! 👍

Wrangler jeans usually run about $167 around that mark, I suppose!! But honestly, I’m just genuinely happy whenever I pick up a pair because I actually end up WEARING them... 🙏 👍

I’m basically a Jennifer Lopez grade when it comes to style—finding the right jeans is a constant struggle—but Dorty Parkins and Levi's have those bootcut models that actually work for me.👍

Does anyone know if Levi's carries high-rise denim? I’ve got nothing but super low-rise styles right now, and honestly, I’m just looking for something for the winter that actually covers my hip bones... 😁. Also, has anyone been to that Levi's section over at Macy's lately? I was wondering if there’s anything decent in their outlet area if I'm trying to find some better prices...

Last week I picked up a pair of Levi's bootcut jeans, specifically the 572 model. Honestly, I’m quite pleased... I actually enjoy wearing them. The waist sits just right—not too low, not too high. They have 1% elastane and the denim feels genuinely high quality.

I really dig that model. How much did you end up dropping on it?

They were slightly under $167, but then again, there was a 20% discount. Honestly, I think these jeans are a much better bet than those Mustangs; mine fell apart in just six months, which really shouldn't happen when you're paying over $200...
Anyway, I went with a size 29. The sizing feels a bit off since I usually grab a 27 or 28. I've learned the hard way over the years that it’s better to get them sized tight when you buy them... otherwise, they stretch out eventually and end up looking like nothing at all

Amy Walker4 said:Personally, I’ve always had a huge soft spot for those lightweight denim pieces—you know, that really thin, breathable jean material that feels almost like a shirt? Does anyone happen to know where I can track down some good quality pairs like that around here?

Around here, the only light denim I ever manage to track down is Take Two, but I’m not in NYC, though I bet you could find them there if you looked hard enough...

Thomas Collins60 said:I honestly think "Lynn" is a password—it feels like one. You see stuff like that with Mustang, too. It’s like these female names just become codes for everything, or at least that's what I've noticed from what I've seen.
I’m totally digging those boots—honestly, I might have to go check out the Wranglers after the weekend is over. Thanks for the tip! 🙏 Mustangs look amazing on me—like, they fit perfectly around my calves—but honestly? They’re a total disaster for my backside. They just squeeze and flatten everything out in all the wrong ways. 👎

Look, those jeans are absolute garbage. ZERO value. NOTHING! I have that exact pair right now and they are low-quality junk. They stretched out completely after the very first time I wore them. A total catastrophe. I kept wearing them for a few months anyway, but let me tell you—they are nowhere near "good" jeans. I don't know what everyone else looks for in denim, but these are my second pair of Lee jeans and definitely my last.

I’m really hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction here... I’ve been on the hunt for some denim jeans that don't have those bulky side seams or extra decorative stitching along the legs, just a clean and smooth look. Does anyone know if I could find something like that at a place like Target or maybe a similar department store? Thanks so much in advance, sending love!

Man, thank you so much for the tip🙂 🙂 🙂... I’m actually not from the city myself—I’m down in Miami—so I haven’t the slightest clue where Take Two is located or if they even have a branch here, but I’m definitely going to look into it and see what I can find out.

Thanks for the tip, Kimberly Rogers2 😉>

I’m still on the hunt for those low-rise jeans—and I don't mean *dangerously* low-rise. I tried this amazing cheap pair from Amadeus once, but the waist was so low I couldn't even sit down without a wardrobe malfunction! I really need them to have some stretch, you know? Like, plenty of elastane, and a tight fit through the legs... almost like jeggings. So far, the best I've found is just 2% elastane, which isn't really doing much. Is it even possible to find more than that?
If anyone knows where I can snag a pair, please let me know! 🙏>

I was browsing through Happening when I stumbled upon these jeans that have an incredible amount of stretch to them—they really hug the body and sit low on the waist—but there’s a catch, because they feel so heavy and wintry, made from that thick, chunky denim that I just absolutely can't stand wearing against my skin.
