Amanda Rivera7 said:Has anyone here actually pulled the trigger on jeans or any other pants from Terranova? I’ve got my eye on a pair, but they’re looking a bit $50, and honestly... I’ve got this nagging feeling that if I pay the premium, I'm just paying for the label—and the quality might end up being pretty mediocre :/

I picked up some black denim about six months back. Honestly? They’re still holding up fine. No fading, no weird stretching... they haven't completely lost their shape yet. 😁

Can the mods please, please just leave this post up? Don't delete it yet... let it breathe for a few days.
It’s actually kind of a big deal here—my sister-in-law is flying out to the States in just a couple of days and her one big wish is to track down these specific sweatpants 😍

So, seriously, if anyone out there knows where I can find them, please hit me up 🙂

Thanks much

Just Google "Levi's USA $" or something similar to find shops that carry them. Most of them list prices right there, and honestly, they're probably way cheaper than what we pay here since the dollar is so weak—buying stuff in the US is such a steal.
Plus, the quality is better over there because the ones we get here aren't even the real deal; they're just local knockoffs sewn together here.

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction here 🙂
So, I’m totally lost on where to hunt for jeans 🤷
I want them a bit darker, and I'm looking for a mid-rise—nothing high-waisted up to my ribs, but also nothing so low that my butt is hanging out every time I sit down. Just a moderate rise. Also, I want slim legs, though they don't need to be full-on skinnies... anyone know where I should look? 🙂

P.S. Please don't send me to Levi's or Diesel. I know they have amazing denim and I always find gems there, but honestly, I'm broke right now and don't have the cash for high-end pants 😢

Diesel and Replay are my top picks, though Tally Weijl and Berska work fine when I need an alternative. They stretch out quite a bit, but the fit is decent enough... I also have a few pieces from Miss Selfridge; they look good and the quality is okay, but they’re honestly uncomfortable as hell...

I’ve been scouring the internet, though I honestly can't tell if I'm looking for something that actually exists or if denim jeans have just completely fallen out of fashion... even though I see people wearing them all over town here in the States...

So, basically, I’m on the hunt for a lighter-wash denim—something lightweight. Ideally, I want a cut that’s snug through the hips and seat, then transitions into a bit of a baggy fit through the legs, finally tapering off at the ankles with an elastic waistband, or whatever similar feature might be available.

Buying jeans is a total nightmare. Everything looks great when you’re just browsing the racks at Target, but the second you actually try them on? Absolute disaster.

Does anyone actually know where I can track down some denim jeans made from that thinner, lighter weight stuff, but you know, without them being way too $67? Thanks!

Quick question, not sure if anyone else deals with this. Basically, my jeans always bunch up right under my butt—which is normal—but then there’s another fold about four fingers below that. It looks terrible. Honestly, I've almost stopped wearing denim altogether because of it. I know it’s because my legs aren't perfectly toned, but surely I'm not the only one? What kind of denim should I be looking for? Stiffer fabric? Softer? Any ideas?

Like I already mentioned in this thread

@ Nathan Gonzalez7 the trick is to buy jeans one size smaller than what you actually wear.

So, I’ll grab some denim in a 27/32, sometimes even a 26/32, even though my actual size is 28/32.

Half the time I can barely button them or even breathe... but before I head out, I spend a day or two—sometimes much longer—just lounging around the house in them. Sleeping, hanging out... that's how they stretch to fit your body perfectly. No more ugly bunching around the hips or legs.

A lady working at the Levi's store actually told me this when I was fed up. Every pair I used to buy would stretch out weirdly and become trash. I kept buying more because of it. Now, I just have three solid pairs for different occasions, and I've been wearing them for two years without them losing their shape.

I’m curious—does anyone in the States actually know where to find some decent light, light blue denim? I’m asking because we’re living in an absolute era of soulless, mass-produced jeans, and I can't seem to track down exactly what I'm looking for. And before you suggest them—no, I don't want Diesel, and I’m definitely not interested in anything over $333 🙄

There are

For women: Tally Weijl, Zara, Orsay, Motivi, LTB, Bershka

For men: LTB, Levi's, Zara Men, Bershka, Springfield

Honestly, I think that’s a pretty personal call.
But based on my own experience, I’d say go for it. My own pairs—well, all four of them, actually—have been absolutely fantastic.

👍👍👍
I've figured out the exact same thing. I grab the ones that are a struggle to squeeze into, usually wearing them under long tunics or oversized tops at first. Then, over time, they stretch out and fit me like a glove. They basically mold right to my body. 😁😁

My sister actually argued with me, saying she’d rather pay more for jeans that are too small instead of letting them stretch, but she listened to me and now they look amazing on her. Everyone always asks us where we get our denim because they never lose their shape and fit our curves perfectly... even after wearing them for a few days.

Personally, I've always been terrified of buying jeans that are too small—you know, that moment when you realize you can't even get the button to close. 🤷It feels like most brands don't even stretch enough to make them feel loose again anyway.
