Maybe to yourself. 😁
Look, you've got this huge button right under my post, it says www. Okay, forget that one. You've got the first big button, says profile. Forget that too. There's the one in the middle, it says... ugh... I can't even read it... BN? Anyway, just click that, type something, and check the box that says "send my nude photos to user." 😁 😁

Just dropping this here so I don't clutter up the forum with a whole new thread.

I’ve been wondering lately: where on earth can one actually find trousers that are a decent, normal length? Let me explain my frustration. I stand at about 5'7", and seemingly every single pair of pants I encounter is somehow five centimeters too long. And frankly, I refuse to just get them hemmed—once you start cutting fabric like that, the whole silhouette is ruined, isn't it? It just doesn't sit right anymore.

Oh, and they absolutely have to be flares. 😁

Thanks! 👋

Honestly, I have zero clue how to navigate this sea of denim models anymore, even when they're from the exact same brand.😕 I mean, who actually has the time to test them all out?
I’m on the hunt for some seriously hot pairs—you know, that "wow, these are the ones!" kind of sexy... but honestly, the selection feels totally overwhelming😁 .
I don't mind if they're budget-friendly; I feel like Old Navy has some pretty decent options. But why on earth is Wit Boy so overpriced?? And the sales clerks there? Total nightmare... super rude and unprofessional.👎

How am I supposed to narrow this down? Any tips?

Also, when are those low-rise jeans with the weirdly shaped waistbands finally going out of style?

Well, if I’m not mistaken, they sit somewhere in that same tier as Diesel or Benetton.

I actually own a pair from Wit Boy myself, and I have to admit—if my memory serves me right—they’re entering their third or fourth year of life now. Sure, they’ve faded a bit, but honestly? I still adore them because the quality is genuinely top-tier.

As for the sales clerks... please. They aren't the only ones out there who act like they're doing you a massive favor just by acknowledging your existence.😁

Honestly, I wouldn't buy anything from Wit Boy even if someone held a gun to my head. One crisp autumn day, I picked up a pair of jeans there, thinking I’d found a winner. I wore them about ten times—washed them once, threw them back on—and suddenly the seat was already starting to rip. So, I headed back in to get them exchanged, but get this: they wouldn't even let me. They were incredibly difficult to deal with. And look, I’m not saying they’re even in the same league as Diesel, but my other jeans actually last me years, and I basically live in them.☕

So I see Wit Boy's got some hits and misses... found these jeans that are exactly the shade of light denim I've been hunting for forever, but the fabric is basically falling apart already. Like, it's actually shredded from being so worn out and trashy...😲

Man, what a joke...👎

Why on earth do these cargo pants cost nearly $233? 😕

Does anyone know which jeans have that Y-shaped stitching on the back pocket?

You probably need a 32 inseam. That’s usually perfect for me when I’m wearing low heels. Most stores should carry different lengths, so it's worth asking. I actually tried some on at Mustang yesterday—they were great! Dark wash, the waist wasn't too low (though they do have high-waisted ones, which aren't really my vibe), and they had various lengths. Plus, you can always cuff the legs if you want to wear them with boots or higher heels...

Not sure if anyone’s brought this up yet—but I finally pulled the trigger today and picked up some Urban Republic jeans. Honestly? They were such a steal. They’ve got that stretch you actually want, and so far, they feel pretty awesome.

Absolutely terrible experience... And let's be real, I wouldn't say they're anywhere near the quality of Diesel. Sorry, but my jeans from them usually last years, and I live in them constantly...☕

Hmm... that's strange. 🤔

Is it possible the quality just slipped over time? I truly have no idea. For the last three years, everything I've bought from them has held up perfectly—nothing has frayed or fallen apart.

I haven't shopped there in a while because I didn't have the budget, and honestly, looking at the selection here in Miami, it doesn't feel like they have much variety anyway.

I don't know... really... the pair I have is top-tier and has been through everything with me. 😬

Just yesterday, I tried on some at Levi's; they were fantastic. Dark denim, a decent waistline—not too low, anyway (though they do carry high-waisted styles, which just aren't my thing)—and available in various lengths. Plus, you can cuff the legs, making them work perfectly with boots or elevated shoes.

Hmm... I'm not sure yet, I'll have to check out the Levi's selection. We have a boutique over in San Diego that carries them.🙂

Does anyone here actually shop at Sisley? Do they even carry decent jeans, and if so, what's the quality like?

shree_kali said:Hey ladies... I’m hoping that despite everything you guys just listed, none of you actually have quite AS many damn issues with jeans as I do. I’ve got incredibly long legs—seriously, like a mosquito on stilts—and not much of an ass to work with. If I try to find a pair tight enough so I’m not just swimming around in them, they end up being capris that hit somewhere below my knee. But if I actually manage to find a pair with enough length, I could probably fit my sister, my cat, and a freaking refrigerator in there. 😠

It’s driving me absolutely insane!

It’s at the point where I could go a year or two without ever wearing jeans—mostly because I don't even own any. There's just nowhere for me to actually go out and buy them. 🙄

But Miss Selfridge has been trying to sort out my mess lately. 😍

I’ve got that same build—super long legs and narrow hips. It’s one of those body types where, if you aren't careful, all the extra weight just decides to settle right on your midsection. I deal with that little bit of belly fat myself; it just gathers there because there's nowhere else for it to go. 😛I know exactly what you mean. It’s that classic catch-22. If the stuff at the top looks good, then the length is way too short, but if you actually get the length right, then everything above it starts floating around me like I can't focus. It's frustrating.

I’ve got another gripe to air, and it’s this: I absolutely loathe all that lace, those little pearls, and every other bit of useless junk they tack onto jeans these days. It’s like one look at those embellishments and half the stuff at Miss Selfridge or similar boutiques is immediately off the table for me. Just give me some standard blue denim with two pockets in the front and two in the back, and honestly, nobody would be happier than me.

Picked up some jeans in Chicago at Bolero. It’s an obscure brand, but the cut is sharp and the price was right: $80.

This is my fifth pair from them. Honestly, they were starting to feel a bit 👍

....Man, I picked up some jeans there ages ago... honestly, I must have been looking with my eyes closed when I was trying them on... the cut was just completely bizarre, and they felt like absolute sandpaper on my skin... these days, I don't even think about stepping foot in there if I'm hunting for denim.

Sisley fragrances are the exact same level of garbage as Benetton's.

What’s the consensus on the stuff at Top Shop? Does it run out fast, or does it actually last?
