dumb blond said:My boyfriend is, well... let's just say he's bordering on anorexicβ€”but honestly, I find it incredibly sexy because it actually suits him. He’s got a great build, you know? Defined muscles on his arms and abs, but overall, he is just so skinnyyyyyy. 😍 😎

I mean, anyone can look muscular if they start out scrawny, hit 220 pounds, and then just pack on the muscle. It's almost a given, isn't it?

I need some advice. I’m 165cm tall and weigh about 95 lbs. I don’t have anorexiaβ€”doctors have confirmed I’m perfectly healthyβ€”but I’m a mom of two and just can't seem to gain any weight. I really want to put on at least 11 lbs. But how exactly do I do that...?

Have you considered taking some B-complex? It really does help boost your appetite... Generally speaking, just sticking to foods rich in B vitamins can make quite a difference, don't you think? πŸ˜‰

Perhaps you could try reducing your physical activity a bit, eating beef on a daily basis, and adding some cream to your meals? It might also be beneficial to rest for at least half an hour following each meal, perhaps enjoying some chocolate during your snacks, and drinking about half a liter of whole milkβ€”you know, the 3.2% fat kindβ€”every day.
Maybe try swapping out water for juices instead...
While you are "packing on" those pounds, why not use exercise to "direct" exactly where that extra weight ends up being distributed?

A few years back, I dealt with some pretty significant nutritional struggles; I started gaining weight due to birth control pills, B-complex, and Linen, and then I suppose I overdid it just a little bit, haha, so now I really ought to start shedding it..
Is your blood work looking okay?

Plenty of exercise, eating regular meals, having snacks in between them. But honestly, that advice just didn't do much for me. They even suggested I spend a whole month eating nothing but my favorite thingsβ€”tons of mayo, pasta, fried food, chips, you name it. Even then, I saw zero results. It really all comes down to why you actually need to gain weight and what the underlying reason for being thin is in the first place.

Well, you certainly received some top-tier advice there; probably the fastest way to land yourself in the ER with a heart attack. You have to eat plenty, sure, but it has to be high-quality, healthy food.

I’ve had a few people suggest that I should stick to snacking on almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts between meals. Honestly, I haven't pulled the trigger on that just yet, though I have been considering it.

And look at me, I'm 16 years old, 5'11", and only 121 pounds.
Try using Ensure Plus if you want to gain weight. You can drink it twice a day between meals, but man, it's priceyβ€”one bottle costs $4.00 so you'll need about $8.25 a day. That means you're looking at roughly $250 per month. It can be covered by insurance too; I'm actually heading to the doctor this Monday to get it prescribed.

I know a guy who drinks that crap. With a prescription, I think it's about two bucks.

In my opinion, that Ensure stuff is just total garbage.

He’s only been on it for a week; he hasn't seen any visible results yet.
