Is anyone planning on visiting Dr. Latin? Does anyone happen to know what her consultation fee is these days?

Hey ladies, I need some help here.

I really need to finally get myself to a gynecologist for a checkup. (Everything feels fine—just want a full exam to officially make sure everything is totally okay).

Does anyone know who the best OB-GYN is in the area? Ideally someone covered by my insurance, but also someone who can handle everything in one spot—I’d love to avoid having to run back and forth to the hospital just for an ultrasound.
I was thinking about seeing Dr. Mamuzic—supposedly he's the best, though pricey since he's private, and I heard the hospital staff isn't exactly his biggest fan. But, hey, I'm hoping to have a baby someday too.🙂

Any suggestions or advice?😕

Thanks.

So, I’m planning to head over to Dr. Marine’s office—she’s got a social media presence and everything—but honestly, I’m not even 100% sure if they have ultrasound equipment there now. They sent me to the main hospital back in the day, but that was ages ago... who knows what their setup looks like today. Anyway, whatever you decide to do, just try to avoid those outside clinics, okay? 😁 After my last experience, I told myself I was done with female gynecologists forever—unless, you know, you're into that kind of thing or you're just going in for regular checkups, but that was it. At least, that was the plan until I ran into Marinica. 👍

Go hook up with some shady guy without a condom. You'll have a reason to reconsider everything pretty quickly once you're faced with the consequences.

I am quite uncertain whether that gentleman doctor is still practicing; he used to work at the hospital and health center near the old train station—Oskar Kirchbaum (I believe I’ve spelled that correctly), an older fellow, but absolutely brilliant... truly wonderful.👍

Personally, I’d much rather see a male gynecologist. I guess some women just find the experience with female doctors to be a bit too blunt or rough.😁

So, sounds like he's still around then? He's actually good?

It’s working—it's actually running—but is it any good? I honestly have no clue. My mom is heading over to his place right now, and since I'm just sitting here waiting for the verdict... I guess if she thinks he's legit, then he probably is, right?😁

Then what on earth are you gonna spend your money on if everything is already fine? Like—you already *know* it's all good. That's why you're "urgently" needing a doctor. Lord help us... 🙄

I heard some women on here are seeing Dr. Grujić-Koračin—can anyone give me a ballpark on what an exam and an ovarian reserve test costs?

Thanks

While I notice quite a few people here seem to favor her, I personally find that doctor to be completely cold... she can be rather blunt, even a bit abrasive in her mannerisms...

Gerald Young4 😳) said:I see other girls falling for her, but personally? I’m totally checked out. She’s cold—borderline rude, actually—and I just can't deal with that vibe.

Based on this—I'm assuming some of you have actually sat in her exam room before. If you can remember, how much did that consultation run you?

He’s a guy, but he’s totally fine.
Though I'm not sure if he's taking new female patients since I barely managed to switch over to him three years ago, and even then, it was through a connection!

Dr. Topalovic is actually 👍 🙏
Totally great, he actually talks to you, 5/5 rating.

I’ve been seeing him for about five days now.😁
I wanted to transfer my care, but had issues because it hadn't been 12 months since my last doctor's registration, and I needed a Pap smear... He just did the test privately for $50, gave me his cell number in case I needed anything, did the exam for free, and gave me a prescription ("It doesn't matter that you aren't officially my patient yet, why should you pay? Just register with me next month and we'll get everything sorted.")

Seriously, the guy is 🙏
That was my first time seeing a male gynecologist and I was a nervous wreck, but he didn't just treat me like I was on a treadmill; he was really fair.👍

Unfortunately, he isn't taking new patients... I also got in "through a connection"—my friend is one of his patients, so she asked, and he said he's full and not accepting anyone new "...but, maybe come by tomorrow."🙂

----------------------------------

Ladies, especially students—if you're exempt from the co-pay, DO NOT GET YOUR TESTS DONE PRIVATELY!!!! You end up paying $267 😲 😲 when you could get them for free.
If you do them at the University Health Center, you just drop them off at the lab on Main Street yourself within two hours, and they're ready in three weeks (I know because a friend worked there this past Tuesday at the clinic). If you have to pay the co-pay, it's only $95.27 (which is still way less than $800).

I gotta ask, since I’m totally lost here 😳

What’s the actual point of these swabs and when are they even supposed to happen?

I’ve seriously never had any kind of swab done in my life 😁

That isn't really the standard protocol, unless you're currently undergoing fertility treatments—like right before an HSG, for instance.

Usually, they just want to make sure there aren't any bacterial infections or other underlying issues. I don't know the specific details of your case, though.😳

I honestly can't recall because it was quite a while ago, and I didn't just go in for a single check-up either...

Just look up her number online and give her a call... 🙂

I guess Dr. Henry Scott4 might be a bit too... I don't know, intense? There’s definitely a space for him though... you probably won't be waiting long for him to show up...😁 😁

Look, my day job is actually being a butcher, but in my spare time, I moonlight as a gynecologist, so if you can't find anything better, let me know and we'll set up an appointment!

Honestly, what’s the big deal if someone just has a side hustle or a hobby they dive into during their downtime? 👎
