First off, nobody should be addressing me with that kind of language, especially not a gynecologist from whom you'd expect at least a baseline level of professionalism.
I am a human being, not some livestock ready for breeding, and I don't "fuck"—I engage in sexual intercourse. That's point number one.

Second, if my dentist can just leave me lying there while they work on a filling, I expect the same level of professional detachment from a gynecologist, regardless of whether they are male or female.
The way certain gynecologists (and I mean *certain* ones, not all!) treat their patients is absolutely disgraceful. If that ever happened to me, I’d grab my things and head straight to the hospital administrator's office immediately, even if everyone thought I was being dramatic.

Thankfully, we live in an era where there are plenty of other doctors to choose from. I shouldn't be forced to seek treatment from some primitive, uneducated hillbilly.

I wasn't saying anything against all butchers. People like that need to be kicked out of the profession, and I know exactly what you mean. It just sounded from your stories like every male gynecologist was some kind of brutal horror movie butcher, which isn't true.

If a girl explicitly asks for a female gynecologist, I honestly don't get why anyone would make a snide comment about it. Especially if it’s coming from another woman.
But seriously, it makes no sense to me.

My point was simply that not all male gynecologists are hacks.

I wouldn't trade him for any woman out there—honestly, gender doesn't matter to me. As long as they can do the job right, that’s what counts. And regarding those people complaining about having to undress... well, you heard them. If you're capable of having sex, you're capable of being naked in front of a doctor. It’s not about being "ashamed"—it’s about health. Health beats embarrassment every single time, right?
If you're looking for a female gynecologist—someone who’s actually decent and... well, let's just say "attentive"—I'd recommend Dr. Puvacic. She works the opposite shift from Shedid, so if anyone wants his number, just shoot me a DM. A friend of mine goes to her and she's thrilled with the experience.

So—based on what exactly do you think I trust male gynecologists 100 times more than female ones? Especially since, if we're being honest, you haven't even been examined by them—not that I'm keeping score or anything.😲 I mean—how can you be so certain about men just based on your experience with two of them? 😕 You can't exactly compare them if you don't have them—not that I'd be much help drawing conclusions anyway.

I’ve happened to see Dr. Shadid a few times—back when he was covering for Dr. Puvačić—and honestly, he seems like your run-of-the-mill male gynecologist. Nothing to write home about. She’s definitely more attentive, anyway. Besides, if you're heading to a gynecologist just to "chat about nonsense," then that doctor isn't exactly worth the recommendation—you don't need a specialist for that. 🙄

Look, I’m not saying there aren't good male gynecologists out there—obviously, there are—but I feel like there just aren't as many men who are actually as attentive as the women in the field. Plus, some of them tend to get a little too "preachy" for my liking. Of course, you'll find pros and amateurs regardless of gender—that's just life.

So far, I've seen about five women and maybe ten guys. If I had to pick—and I really would—Dr. Branka Potlacek over at Dubrava Hospital is my top choice for women. As for the men, I’d definitely go with Dr. M. Podobnik from Merkur Hospital; he actually has a sense of humor, unlike someone like Shadid. 👎

Honestly, Dr. Vesna Harni is absolutely amazing. Look, she’s a private practitioner, but she is worth every single penny (plus, she isn't even that pricey!). I honestly don't get why there are so few female gynecologists out there. What gives? Like, if there are plenty of women working as dentists, surgeons, or ophthalmologists, why isn't it the same for OB-GYNs???

I can’t for the life of me remember a single woman practicing at my local community health center. However, I saw this amazing doctor over at the clinic on Star Street—Dr. Grujić-Koračin. She is such a sweetheart. If I hadn't run into her right away, I think she might have ended up pretty traumatized by the job. But with her... she’s not just a gynecologist, she's practically a psychologist too. Her fees are a bit steep, but she is worth every penny.🙂🙂🙂🙂

Look, I just wasn't feeling it with Mr. Topalovic... he never really gave me enough of the full picture—always felt way too formal for my liking. So, I finally made the jump over to someone more local here in Jersey. Haven't actually sat in his chair yet, so who knows? But at least it feels a bit more down-to-earth.

My experiences with female gynecologists haven't been great, but I guess you can run into a bad doctor regardless of gender.
I've been seeing Dr. Husar over in the downtown area for about six years now. He runs a private practice, but honestly, he's worth every penny. When I go in, I feel like he actually has time for me... we sit down, chat about everything on my mind, and he’s just super kind and attentive.
Last time I saw him—it was maybe a month ago—we talked all about HPV, mostly because I’ve read so many conflicting things about it here on this forum and just wanted the real details.
Also, I used to be able to just call him up for advice sometimes, and he'd always give me at least five or ten minutes to talk so I wouldn't have to book an appointment just for one quick question.
I'm really happy with him, so I'd definitely recommend him.

I recently moved to Melbourne—still haven't found a local gynecologist yet—but back in Sydney, I used to go to the Family Planning Clinic in Fairfield. Honestly, the doctors there were incredibly helpful and kind.

And please, don't tell me you haven't seen a doctor yet! I don't know how old you are, but regardless—you really should be going in for a checkup at least every two years.

Clean your lower abdomen, get a Pap smear if you haven't had one in a while—or ever—and then go through with the pelvic exam.

I am seriously obsessed with my doctor here in the States. Dr. Vesna Harni is just incredible—she’s stunning, super modern, totally down-to-earth, and you can actually reach her on her cell or via email. She even has her own website! Harni Medical Clinic
Honestly, I’m so happy with her that going in for checkups isn't even a chore anymore. It used to be a massive hassle before, but with her, it’s just twice a year. She managed my entire pregnancy, and because of how she handles things, it was easily one of the best times of my life. I recommend her 100%! (And hey, you can always see Christian Sanchez44 too! 😬 )

When I’m hunting for a doctor, I just go private—this was actually my first time seeing this guy... and honestly, it was worth every penny.
The downside: it's crazy expensive, but he's easily the best in town.🙂
Lately, I’ve been stuck using the clinic, and I won't even get into her... she's absolutely terrible. Back in February, there was a whole thing about her because she straight up told me I was pregnant without even giving me a proper exam, which is ridiculous.🙄
I usually swap out my primary care provider in December when we're allowed to switch, since I missed the window back in June... man, I can't wait.😁
