OB/GYN Discussion Thread

So I’ve been doing some digging into private insurance options... based on the link you shared, my monthly premium would be around $230.44. Over at Agent.net, they quoted me $199.00 a month—and then there's Gother, which offers a family package for us; that starts at about $330 a month for me and my husband. I did find some data suggesting the average private insurance for men and women around age 30 sits closer to $120.

Anyway, I'll keep looking—I've got plenty of time. There's no rush. The OP is expecting me in maybe two or three months, if not later...

You all wrote that so beautifully, but it’s interesting how absolutely nobody reacted to what Peter Baker57 mentioned—that she has NEVER even been to a gynecologist.

So, how old is Peter Baker57 now?
To be completely honest with you, I really *should* be more on top of things, but I usually only bother seeing my gynecologist if there’s an actual problem. I went once before my vacation, but before that... man, the last time was way back in '97.😁
Do you honestly think I’d try to force anyone's hand? I'll just tell her that if she isn't feeling any pain or doesn't actually need the meds... then there's no point...😁

From what I gather, Peter Baker57 says she’s living with her partner.

So—she's an adult, and let's assume they're being intimate. In my book, that's plenty of reason to see a gynecologist. You guys disagree?

For me, the only real reason to actually make an appointment is if something feels wrong. 😁
Basically, I usually don't go unless someone practically drags me there by the arm... 😁

Plus, I just don't really trust doctors.

It’s almost funny how everyone falls head over heels for her until they realize she’s actually looking back... then suddenly everything gets awkward. 😁 There's absolutely zero payoff when she starts paying attention.

Can anyone point me toward a solid professional in 😁? I’m looking for someone reliable who actually knows their stuff.

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with her. Since I switched over, the check-ups haven't been an issue at all. It used to feel like I was seeing my doctor every other week, but with her, it’s just twice a year. She managed my entire pregnancy, and because of how she handles things, that whole period ended up being one of the most beautiful chapters of my life. I’d recommend her to anyone without hesitation. (Though you could always go see Christian Sanchez44 too!) 😬 )

I used to see him all the time before I moved over to Denver, and honestly, I just wanted to say he’s absolutely fantastic, if you can find him.
