Dana Ramirez3 said:ps. just don't go pushing Dr. Konrad Nižetić—that guy can get seriously blunt (or "honest," if you want to be nice) when you hit him with the real questions!
Man, he has zero clue... didn't answer a single one of my questions, let alone actually fix anything. He basically compared recurrent infections to getting a sore throat from using a dirty spoon. So here I am—after all those amazing OB-GYNs—scouring forums hoping to find some actual gold...
Please, don't feel like you have to dump a ton of advice on me🙂
Honestly, I'm just looking for someone young and, more importantly, actually skilled... so I never have to go through this hunt again. At this rate, I'll find the Holy Grail before I find a decent OB-GYN—and finding a good one twice in one lifetime? Unlikely. 🙂
Some extra info would be great regarding Dr. Šebo, Egzet, Wahid, Shadid, and
gynecology at the Borovje health center.
Men aren't out of the question, but I think I've ruled out private clinics because they're just as bad—maybe worse—and they charge an absolute fortune for it!
Hey,
I've been through the wringer with gynecologists (surgery, two births, endless checkups, etc.), so I figure I know what I'm talking about: doctors are just people too—they have bad days and weird ways of talking to you.
Every single one of them will be "okay" to some, "amazing" to others, and a complete joke to someone else. It really just depends on what you're looking for. For me, I just want expertise and basic decency—and if the doctor happens to be a warm person where you don't have to fight to hear things about your own health? Well, that's a win! From my experience, Dr. Ratko Matijević over at St. Jude’s is exactly that kind of doctor. Though, I should mention Dr. Mario Ćurić at the University Clinic is perfectly fine too.🙂
