Man, I’ve been on Yaz for over a year for that exact reason and my periods are still painful. Obviously, it’s nothing compared to how they used to be, but it’s still not pleasant...

I honestly recommend Evan’s Tea!! I’ve mentioned it before, but here it is again:

Hey everyone! For anyone dealing with inflammation, bacteria, intense pain, or whatever else—I have one tip for you... get "Evan’s Tea"!! You can find it at herbal shops, or check out www.suban.hr/. It costs $10 and lasts you about a month...

My mom dealt with CHRONIC inflammation and all sorts of issues for over twenty years. She saw countless gynecologists, and none of them could help her no matter how hard they tried. Pills only provided temporary relief, and eventually, she started having stomach issues because of digestive problems too. She stumbled upon this tea and decided to try it since she really had nothing left to lose... she drank it every day for just over a month. When she went back to her gynecologist (the doctor was actually pulling her hair out before because she didn't even know where to start since everything was such a mess), the doctor couldn't believe it was the same person. She told her to keep doing whatever she was doing... basically, after 20 years, she cleared a chronic condition that people usually call incurable. Another doctor she saw after using the tea for a month wouldn't even believe she ever had any inflammation, let alone chronic stuff, because there were zero traces left. It was like she'd never been sick. Look, if someone is too lazy to put in the work, don't bother starting. There are so many people who just complain and complain without taking action, preferring to just pop a pill for a quick fix. The worst part is that most of these people drink coffee multiple times a day without a second thought, but when it comes to actual health, they put in zero effort. So, if you aren't willing to be persistent, forget this advice and just keep complaining and suffering through the pain... (and obviously, my mom isn't the only success story here, but she was definitely the toughest case)

Basically, you’ve got to stick with these teas for about a month before they really start kicking in—especially if things are pretty rough. And I don't know if people realize this, but don't use a metal spoon; stick to plastic. It might seem like a hassle, but we're talking about long-term healing here. It’s not like popping an Advil for quick relief, where eventually even those stop working on you after a while.

mellowbear10 if you start posting about these teas on one more thread, you’re getting banned. No advertising allowed here. I honestly don't know how else to interpret you pushing the exact same tea across different topics.

If I know something works, why shouldn't everyone else get a shot at fixing their own issues? For years, I’ve been telling everyone I meet about these solid solutions for women's health problems. Honestly, most people just seem too lazy to actually do anything about it. But I'm not giving up. I'll keep spreading the word and hoping I can help at least one person.

sorry if wanting to help is an issue....

How am I supposed to mention a product without it sounding like a blatant ad? Should I just list the ingredients and let people figure out how to make it themselves?

And what can I even do about it, since that tea is used for so many different things anyway...

The last time the pain got this bad, I was throwing up all night long. Eventually, it was just clear liquid, but the misery lasted quite a while.
Even when it’s a sweltering 100 degrees outside, my feet always feel freezing, so I find myself wearing socks regardless.

I've noticed that I feel significantly better whenever I cut out dairy and stay physically active. When I stick to that, I don't deal with any discomfort at all. However, I've been feeling rather lazy over the last few months, so here I am, struggling through it.

Look, you can come to one specific thread, share your experience, and tell us what actually worked for you. But don't go running around every single discussion board claiming this tea is the greatest thing since sliced bread. There’s already a dedicated thread for tea; your initial posts were moved there for a reason. That’s where the debate happens. Stick to the topic.

I used to deal with anything from moderate to intense pain, but since I’ve started exercising almost every day, the pain has completely vanished...

One morning, I woke up with menstrual cramps so intense I was literally screaming every time I tried to move an inch.

I ended up calling my elderly neighbor and begging her for some Voltaren—honestly, life was so much better after that.

But seriously, don't go grabbing those pills unless you absolutely have to. Save them for extreme emergencies only.

When the pain is just manageable? Just grab a blanket, curl up, and tough it out. Consider it training for whatever labor might be waiting for you down the road.

Ever since seventh grade, my stomach cramps have been absolutely brutal. There was a period where I was actually throwing up, too, though thankfully that part finally stopped. I’ve cycled through every pill imaginable, from Advil to Aleve, but it doesn't change the reality: I have to stay home on day one, and by day three, I’m still popping pills every five hours just to function. A couple of years ago, I went to see a specialist at a clinic in Chicago for an ultrasound, and she told me my uterus is underdeveloped—basically saying it’ll stay this way until I give birth. On top of all that, my lower back is killing me and my digestion is a total mess.
This month, I had to see a male doctor who recommended birth control pills. Honestly, I’d really rather avoid that; when I was on Duphaston, my mood swings were a nightmare—everything from unbearable rage to crying for two hours straight for no reason. Just so you know, heating pads do nothing for me, and taking a hot shower actually makes the pain worse. Does anyone have any actual advice?

There isn't really anything you can do about it, honestly... not me, not you, and clearly not any of the countless other women out there dealing with this exact same nightmare.
I used to deal with it constantly, and even now, I get these unbearable cramps—sometimes it’s so intense on the first day that I end up cleaning just to distract myself from the pain, or worse, I’m stuck vomiting...
So, taking a pill doesn't even help because the pain hits so fast that the medication doesn't even have a chance to kick in.
And even when the painkillers do work, they only seem to hold the line for maybe two days at most.
For years, I was just suffering through it, but then I started on birth control and it felt like a total rebirth; after six years of pure misery, I finally felt like a normal person again, such a relief... but then, after about a year, the cramps and the pain just came rushing back. Now I'm right back where I started, with nothing helping, and sometimes even the pills don't do a single thing for me.
I’m honestly at my breaking point with this pain because it feels like I’m being stabbed in the back, like someone is actually twisting a knife around inside my stomach...
It’s absolutely horrific.
If you haven't experienced it, you just can't understand, not even someone like my mom... we basically fight a war together every single month! Ah...

Something rather peculiar has happened, actually. It appears I have indeed started my period, and it’s continuing as expected, yet the flow is significantly lighter than usual—and remarkably, there hasn't been any cramping at all. 😕 Everything arrived right on schedule, which is fine, I suppose, but I am quite at a loss. In all my life, I have never experienced a cycle that didn't involve a desperate, heavy-duty reliance on painkillers to get through the day. Has anyone else encountered this shift, and does anyone happen to have any insight into what might be causing it? 🤷

That happens to me from time to time, and honestly, I enjoy those kinds of cycles. Maybe you didn't ovulate this month, or maybe your uterine lining just didn't thicken as much as usual...

Anyway, enjoy it. 😁

Well, I certainly hope so. It’s just quite baffling to me what could have possibly triggered it in the first place; after all, I haven't dealt with this during my twelve years of managing my cycle, and I haven't exactly been doing anything out of the ordinary.

I usually deal with heavy, painful periods. A couple of times a year, though, things are actually manageable—either they don't hurt or the flow isn't excessive (I just stick to a pantyliner when my cycles are actually normal).

I wouldn't complain if every month was like that. 😁

Jason Morgan and I went through something similar once... I actually had a painless period for like two or three months straight—I was feeling pretty great about it, honestly.

Usually, though, my periods are pretty brutal. I’ve heard that birth control pills can help ease the pain—my friend and my mom both use them and swear they’ve made a huge difference with the cramping 🤷—but is that actually true? Has anyone here actually tried it?
For example, it isn't just the actual period that hurts; sometimes I get these sharp pains right during ovulation, and it always seems to hit on the most fertile day, too 😢—there's just no dodging it 😬. My cycles are otherwise totally regular, though. They show up right on time, and everything looked perfectly fine when I had my checkup at the clinic 🤷.

I got my period around 10:00 this morning, and by 11:00 I was stuck in the bathroom. It feels horrific; I’m pale, everything from the waist down is aching, and I'm completely spent. 😢

Never again am I facing this without Advil. If I let this happen once more, I might actually just die.

I had planned to finally get some cleaning done today. Instead, I can't do a single thing.

Is it just me, or does it get worse with age? It used to just be lower back pain, but now everything below my waist is throbbing so hard I can barely walk.

When it comes to period cramps, instead of Ketoral, I’d highly recommend asking your doctor for a prescription for Spasmex or Buscopan.
