I’ve been mixing Neofen forte with 200 mg doses. I managed to get through the last cycle using 6 x 200 mg; I suspect the Valerian root played a part in that success.😁

I thought I would share once more what has actually made a difference for me..

In the past, I found myself reaching for several Aleve Forte tablets every single cycle; now, I take just one—and that’s the 275 mg strength.!!!

It turns out the secret lies in MOLASSES..

This is the one I pick up:

You can find options at places like Walgreens, but some of those are made from beet sugar. It seems essential to go for the sugarcane variety instead (I believe it contains higher levels of magnesium and iron, though I can't say for certain).

They also carry it on iHerb:

Ugh, I’m seriously just white-knuckling it through this right now—it finally started to settle down a tiny bit, but man, the pain is still unreal. It’s honestly terrifying... and don't even get me started on the Neofen, because it did absolutely zero for me!! Like, my stomach is doing backflips and nothing is touching it—it feels like I just drank a bunch of water or something, which is totally not normal, right? And to make matters worse, I have this huge, important thing tomorrow where I actually need to feel like a functioning human being, and then there's this...

Honestly, in moments like this, I really, really regret being a woman.

Have you ever tried taking Advil? It’s my one true savior; I pop two and I’m perfectly calm all day long.

So, I asked my wife yesterday to weigh in on whether I should go with 200 mg or 400 mg of Advil.. and what does she do? She suggests a bunch of other 200 mg options entirely. Not once did she even mention Nalgesin L 😢

I know you do. But please believe me when I say there are men out there who frequently regret being men as well.

For instance, we simply don't possess nearly the same capacity for recognizing the emotions of others. What I wouldn't give to be able to see clearly—and I am quite nearsighted myself—and to also be able to perceive feelings even half as well as you women can!

Hey there! Does anyone actually know what the damage is for a BlokMay lady tablet these days?

It's 20 bucks, and you get 10 tablets per pack.

I am so incredibly glad I stumbled upon this thread!

I’m dealing with insane pain again, feeling totally misunderstood because everyone around me just doesn't get it. Here’s my deal: I used to rely on Ketorolac, and it always worked, but I started tapering off slowly. I went from 100mg to 150mg doses until I reached a point where even three 150mg doses an hour apart did absolutely nothing. All I got for it was an ER visit and a nasty case of gastritis. Since then, Ketorolac is completely off the table for me. I switched to Advil granules, which actually works if I catch the pain early enough. Today, I took two packets and barely felt a thing... 😢 I don't know what to do anymore. I need something heavy-duty. Is Aleve really that bad for your stomach?

The absolute breaking point was when even a Tramadol injection didn't touch the pain. That was always my last resort. Sure, the injection leaves me feeling totally loopy—sometimes I even hallucinate—but it's worth it...

Usually, a good pill plus a heating pad does the trick. I never go anywhere without my heating pad; I just press it to my stomach and settle down. But that stopped working recently. Now, nothing seems to help at all. I think I've just built up a tolerance to everything. Help me out, ladies... I need some kind of miracle pill!

And have you considered trying magnesium?
It isn't going to be some kind of miracle cure—not by a long shot—but it might just help a little.

That stuff is for PMS—calcium, magnesium, B & C vitamins, etc. I’m not sure if it would touch the pain, maybe just take the edge off. 🤷Personally, Advil helps me out—stops the pain almost instantly.

Well, alright then—what else is there for her to do if not try to reduce the pain? 😕
It costs her absolutely nothing to give it a shot. Maybe it could at least dull the discomfort enough so that her regular medication actually works—instead of having to resort to injections or ending up in the ER.

My bad, I phrased that poorly—what I meant was if the pain is that intense, she might not even notice if this "helps." I know from experience, sometimes my meds just don't cut it. Anyway, I'm all for taking vitamins and staying consistent with them.

I'm not entirely sure—maybe they should give it a shot anyway 🤷
and honestly, it would probably be best if they started taking it a few days ahead of time

Does anyone else deal with intense muscle aches during those days? I mean—just like all of you—I get the standard abdominal cramping, the usual stuff—but my leg muscles get so inflamed during this time that I don't even notice the stomach pain anymore. Sometimes the ache in my legs is so debilitating that I can't even stand or walk; I just want to lie down and massage the sore spots indefinitely. This isn't something I've always dealt with—it’s a relatively recent development—and I’ve never actually brought it up with my doctor because, frankly, I always forget about the muscle pain in the moment—or perhaps I’ve just become desensitized to it... I don't take any pills unless the pain becomes truly unbearable. I'm curious—has anyone else encountered these specific symptoms?

Just wanted to brag a little... I’ve never had to take a pill during my period, and I don't deal with any pain either. 😳

Thanks, I picked up those tablets today. Definitely worth a try 🙂 Any change for the better is a good thing 🙂 I just stopped by to ask about the dosage, like, starting a few days before...

Tried Neofen and nothing happened 😢 Bought Blokmax Lady yesterday too, also nothing... 😢

I’ve been using Blokmax lately and it’s actually been pretty solid. It kicks in fast and the relief lasts... plus I don't feel all jittery and wired like I do with Neofen. I only took Ketonal for a little while because it absolutely trashes my stomach.

Yeah. It’s basically my monthly routine at this point. The muscle inflammation is constant, and if I even bump into something lightly, I end up with these horrific bruises. One time, while dealing with PMS, I went out shopping—and honestly, just walking around and having my shopping bag brush against my leg was enough. A couple of days later, I realized the entire side of my leg was almost black... looked like I'd been hit by a car. 🤷

Have you managed to find any way to manage this that doesn't involve popping pills? For me, a warm or even hot bath usually does the trick—though how one is supposed to manage a full soak during those specific days of the month is quite the conundrum! 😢 I’ve been wondering if this is happening because I’ve become too sedentary lately; I don't get nearly enough leg exercise anymore, whereas I used to be significantly more active. What’s the situation on your end? Has this been a lifelong issue for you, or is it something new?

It is truly miserable—to the point where I am actually weeping from the sheer muscle pain during those days. 🤷
