They’re saying the risk goes up if you wait past those 12 hours—you know, the ones they say you can tolerate.

I've cycled through a few different brands of birth control over the last couple of years.

On every single pack, it noted there was an increased risk if you were even just a few hours late.

Also, if it’s been more than 12 hours since your last pill, you should still take it anyway—just to keep your cycle from getting totally messed up. That's what the manual says.

Look, any kid conceived that way isn't exactly a "mistake"—they’re just the product of two idiots who are smart enough to get laid, but too dim to bother with a condom or a tiny little pill once a day.

So, that’s the gist of your daily emergency contraceptive routine.👎

feralstag11 said:Oh man, I just realized I missed my pill. I usually take it at 2:15 PM, but I didn't get to it until now. Will being 45 minutes late cause any major issues? Hopefully not...😵

Honestly, you might find it better to switch your schedule to the evening. Try taking it around 10:00 PM or right before bed. You tend to be much more focused then. If I try taking things during the day, I definitely forget. Plus, daytime doses leave me feeling totally scattered and out of sorts. My mind just feels cluttered all day long...

Once you build a solid routine, though, you'll be fine regardless of the timing...

It’s really just a personal preference thing.

Mine used to sit right there by my toothbrush—totally routine, like brushing my teeth in the morning. Then eventually, I switched over to taking them as pills.

These are my first ones. Today I took my 7th pill 🙂

When I move on to the second box, shouldn't I start over at the same time? Or should I?
😕

Morning-after pills ARE contraceptive pills. If conception has already occurred—they won't work.

They aren't abortifacients. They simply function by preventing potential fertilization or the implantation of a fertilized egg.

In any scenario, regular use is NOT RECOMMENDED because they are a total hormonal bomb.

John Thomas2 said:Well, obviously! Why on earth did you endure that for two whole years?? 😲
They were too weak, you say?? Good grief, what does that even mean, that they aren't effective enough?? 😲

I’ve been on Creston for two and a half years now.

It isn't just that I NEVER forget my pill; I make sure to take them at the exact same time EVERY single day.

During an ovarian surgery, they found that I have a high number of healthy, mature follicles just waiting to release an egg.

In short—even while on birth control, I AM ovulating.

And wherever ovulation occurs, there is always a risk, however theoretical, of conception.

Ugh, I’m such an idiot... seriously, I am just the worst! I keep trying to come up with excuses for myself, but honestly, there isn't one. There really isn't. I don't even know what's wrong with me sometimes. Oh, and by the way, I was dealing with some pretty intense nausea lately, and I just... I guess I foolishly convinced myself that being sick meant I wouldn't put on any weight! 🙄 God, I was so incredibly stupid. And then, of course, my mom had to go and hear about it all... she basically told me I’m acting like some dramatic fifteen-year-old girl... and, well, looking back, she’s probably right... 😕

And just how much were you drinking today?

Forgive me, but I haven't heard of anyone making it past their second morning without stopping, so I'm a little stunned...

Forgive me, but I’ve never heard of anyone drinking more than just a second morning dose, so I’m a little stunned...

Look, I’m telling you straight... just swallow the whole box, packaging and instructions included. That’s the only way to be sure.🙄

Daniel Lopez said:And how much did you actually manage to drink today? I mean, seriously, give me the real number, because I’ve been sitting here thinking about it and I honestly can't tell if you were just having a casual little glass or if you went full tilt, I guess. Maybe you weren't even trying to go overboard, but sometimes those drinks just sort of... happen, you know? I don't know, I was just wondering.

I mean, sorry, but I haven’t exactly heard of anyone drinking that much for more than just a couple of mornings, so I guess I’m just a little bit taken aback by all of this... maybe I'm overreacting, but it just seems a bit much, doesn't it?

I haven't even had my drink yet...🙄 I mean, honestly, if there’s one thing I’ve been thinking about lately—and maybe I’m just being cynical, I guess—it’s that whole idea of when things finally just fall apart. You know that feeling? Like, when everything is going wrong and you just wish, I don't know, that some kind of divine intervention or even just a stroke of pure, chaotic luck would swoop in and just take the whole mess away from you. It’s like, if God decided to just snatch the deck right out from under us, maybe we wouldn't be stuck dealing with all this nonsense. I suppose it sounds a bit dramatic, but sometimes you just want to hit the eject button on reality, doesn't it? Or maybe I'm just overthinking it, which, let's face it, is kind of my specialty.😁 Well, I made it through, and honestly, I’m doing alright! I mean, I guess I actually survived it, which is more than I expected at one point there, but yeah, I'm okay.

Kenneth Hernandez67, what's the deal with needing both the box and the papers to eat? Khmm... I didn't know. 😎 😁 😉

... but get this!!! you have to tear the box and the paper into equal pieces—that way, with every single pill, you’re taking an identical bit of paper and cardboard along for the ride! 😁 😁 😁

So, I once had this total midnight panic thinking I’d forgotten to take my pill... but I actually had taken it. Turns out, I’d accidentally doubled up and taken two instead... Please, don't make that mistake, because honestly, it doesn't feel great at all. (It's probably a similar vibe to that feeling you get from taking the morning-after pill)

Timothy Perez10 said:Before I even finished my drink🙄 !Every time a guy wants to slip away...😁 But hey, I actually made it through okay!

Honestly, you had more luck than sense there. You don't have to end up pregnant just because a guy tries to make a run for it. Sperm can definitely escape before things are even finished...

Better head straight to the local library and get some actual info so you don't pull another stunt like that.

Friday morning—alarm goes off, I grab my pills, and realize I’m actually holding Thursday’s dose. Instead of thinking—just zero thought—I go ahead and swallow Friday’s too. So, yeah. Two doses in a row. Great. 😲 Moron. 😵 Absolutely not—definitely don't do that! 😵 😵 It was a terrible feeling... 😵

Seriously, go pick up a basic reproductive health manual! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stop talking nonsense and actually read what you're typing............
They ARE contraception and they always will be.
Conception (or fertilization) happens when the sperm meets the egg, not at the point of implantation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
