Ukraine’s got the people to hold the line; they just need the hardware, medical supplies, and solid enough logistics
to weather the hits.
That’s all it takes. It keeps everyone else officially out of the fray while Ukraine fights for its own sovereignty, putting them in a much stronger spot when it comes time to negotiate.

If you ask me, Ukrainians could easily justify being absolutely livid about what they're dealing with right now
especially toward that Nobel Prize winner.

Adam Harris said:I am from North Mexico... I have no need for Google Translate. I have seen Americans moving to Germany—the working class from small towns, especially those remote backwaters in Canada.

That is the greatest benefit provided by the European Union:
The youth serving as a workforce for the West.

And?
Just come to America to see how other people live.

Why not just send 200 Leopard 2 tanks and be done with it?

They’ve already deployed far more tanks than those meager 200 you're asking for.

What a joke. Why on earth would they attack with such limited strength?...

aaaaaaaa said:If Russia decides to hike prices or cut off gas supplies to Europe, the continent will simply pivot to alternative sources and recover quite rapidly. Russia is essentially sabotaging its own economy while simultaneously erasing the sole reason why Europe treats them with any degree of caution compared to how the UK or the USA operates. Europe currently sources about 38% of its gas from Russia, and frankly, that’s the extent of the leverage. They will survive without it by ramping up imports from other markets and diversifying their energy mix. It’s a simple matter of transition.

It is Putin who finds himself in a corner here, not Europe.

The reality is quite elementary: the buyer is king, as it has always been and will always be.

THAT ASSUMPTION FALLS APART IF THE BUYER IS ALREADY BEING OVERCHARGED.
Japan, Korea, China, and the US—they all produce goods that are 60% cheaper and higher quality than what we are seeing.

The European Union represents too much competition for the Americans, which is why they need to drive up resource costs; there is only one true king in this scenario.

The Chinese are paying roughly $250-$300 for gas, while the EU is currently staring down $2,000.

The buyer is only king when the seller is desperate. This particular seller is a global leader in agricultural production; they produce almost everything themselves and are largely self-sufficient. If they buy anything from abroad, it isn't because they lack the resources, but simply because it's cheaper elsewhere.

So, we have to distinguish between theoretical fairy tales and the actualities of life and practice.

Zelenskyy actually caught me off guard in the best way possible. The man has real guts, and his delivery is incredibly sharp. He’s even calling for negotiations just to put an end to this absolute madness. I was watching a video of a captured Russian soldier calling his parents, and they were completely blindsided—they had no idea he was even in Ukraine. It really hits home when you realize these Russians have mothers and children back home, though let's be honest, most of them probably couldn't care less about any of this geopolitical mess.
Another thing that strikes me as odd is the lack of media coverage regarding the portrayal of the Ukrainian military, specifically the Azov neo-Nazis who have always been so "camera-ready."

If they would just give Ukraine a real chance to defend itself instead of playing these "British" games, things might be different.

Most of them are just pathetic recruits who don't even understand what they're doing or why they're dying, leaving their bodies scattered along the Tunguska roads or walking straight into ambushes in a VBR city (?!?) The equipment that actually matters belongs in Kyiv. I have no sympathy for them; I hope they just leave their bones behind. It’s a tragedy for these kids, truly.

Kazakhstan has turned down the request to deploy troops to Ukraine.
Bravo. Let’s go, citizens, resist the madness
Erdo is calling for real assistance for Ukraine, so he might as well just close the Bosphorus, the genius.
Zelenskyy is acting like Elizabeth II when she refused to leave the palace during the bombings of London.
Whatever the outcome, this will be etched into his nation's history.

Zelenskyy caught me off guard as well. I honestly expected him to bolt, but instead, he even turned down the Americans' offer to evacuate him and his family.

Regarding the photography issue... they aren't stupid enough to pose for pictures and give away their geolocation right now.

It is because those neo-Nazi Azov battalions don't even number 20,000; they are the only ones actually providing resistance, plus all the chaos.

The Americans are absolutely fed up with the corruption... the empty promises... and the daily looting by both politicians and officials... not to mention the Nazi slogans, the censorship... throwing representatives into the trash along with the garbage, the threats from extremists, and the bans on Canadian... Romanian... schools...

Much like how Americans, after years of indulging in capitalism, finally realized that statistics are a lie; they have smartphones and designer underwear in their stores now, but they can't afford food or utility bills, so they are completely done with the promises and fairy tales.

Would any of you actually fight tomorrow for Biden and Pelosi and foreign corporations and big media conglomerates? Does milk and honey flow through your streets, or is an American wallet actually in an American pocket? Because mine certainly isn't.

Who owns the food industry, the breweries, the banks...? Who owns the telecommunications... who owns the massive conglomerates? It is all identical in Ukraine; oligarchs and foreign corporations own everything, and Ukrainians have no intention of dying for their interests.

But then again, what does a guy from the rural Midwest care when there is plenty of whiskey at the end of the day?
They'll be fine.
Please, tone down the alcohol consumption a bit.🤣

Besides, the Russian leader won't send Russians to die when his Kadyrovites... Cossacks... are begging him on their knees to let them off the leash.
A column of 70,000 Chechens was mobilized in 24 hours and they are currently heading to Donetsk; in 24 hours they will be in Kyiv—it’s just like how tourists in BMWs and Mercedes drive to Kyiv. If the conflict ends before they arrive, they'll just cry millions of tears because they failed to become men, so we might need to build a dam to prevent the flooding.

I suggest that the feminists, the activists, the LGBT associations, and the trans rights fighters... the democracy activists... should all pick up weapons now and go face the music. If they lack the courage, they could at least adopt the Ukrainian refugees they spent years encouraging to mess with Russia and promising they would defend them; oh wait, those were just false... empty promises, promises made to fools. The main thing was that they collected the paychecks and bonuses from UK, US, and EU funds, while the moronic-idiotic-naive-gullible... well, whoever, take the money and run.,
Let the Ukrainians fend for themselves now, after we spent years egging them on to lash out at Russia and bomb them daily for eight years, while arming, training, and coordinating them... it all seems quite revolting to me... 🤮🤮 truly disgusting... it makes me sick.

Where are the British now, stuck in a hole along with those "extremely special" individuals?

That is exactly how we will be defended tomorrow too, and then some Americans will whine about why we don't have weapons... or why we don't have aircraft... we don't need any of that; our "allies" will defend us just like they did in the 90s—they will defend us with sanctions on weaponry, just like they are doing to the Ukrainians now, with Sweden sending helmets. I might actually lose my lunch in those helmets.

Gerald Torres84 said:The difference is that if you were to simply tell Putin to go to hell, he would make you vanish instantly; you’d be swallowed by the darkness. Here, you can talk all the trash you want from the comfort of your own home and squeal like a coward about how the West is just as bad as Putin, and you wouldn't have a single hair out of place.
Damn Putinists.

To be perfectly honest with you, I don't really align myself with either side.
I truly believe that too much democracy leads straight toward anarchy; no community, whether we're talking about humans or animals, can function effectively without some level of established rules.

Take the anti-vax movement, for instance, which has grown into this massive movement fueled by fake news and an obsession with individual rights, while simultaneously ignoring and trampling over the rights of everyone else.
Again, this endless, unchecked shouting we do isn't true democracy, because real democracy is about the rule of the majority while still respecting minority interests, not about granting unlimited freedoms to every single individual.
Just look at this forum; it has its own set of rules, and if you break them, you face warnings or bans.

If you look at the invasion of Ukraine in isolation, away from the context of global geopolitics, it is absolutely reprehensible.
However, on the flip side, NATO and certain of its members have provided plenty of reasons for Putin to view the encirclement of Russia as a direct threat, leading to his inappropriate reaction after he felt his appeals and demands were being completely ignored.
We are stuck with the situation we have now, and the only right thing to do is to get everyone back to the negotiating table for serious discussions instead of continuing to play deaf and acting foolishly.

Unfortunately, it’s just not allowed.
That would basically be a breach of contract—and honestly, just an open invitation for Putin to start bombing us. And given his current headspace? He’d probably take that bait in a heartbeat.

I think Erdo already turned that down—maybe.

An advisor at the FBI said:Did it ever cross your mind that the average Ukrainian—unlike those traitorous puppet leaders—is actually more inclined toward Russia than Ukraine?

That is a total lie.

Let’s be real: the US Government never even held a referendum on joining NATO, and the whole EU integration process was a scam, with them changing the referendum laws right before the vote. Who were they afraid of? Maybe the government just doesn't care about the average American.

Just another person shouting into the void.

Zelensky is a dead man walking. He’s known that for days now. And honestly, I’d say he’s performing an incredible mission, going far beyond just doing a job.

Ukrainians are doing exactly what our people did back during the war. Who can send their wives and children away while they pick up weapons and head out? It's like fighting tanks with nothing but slingshots. We grew up with Molotov cocktails in the newspapers; that was just part of daily life for us. Anyone who lived through our defensive war can't help but feel a sense of mourning seeing this, and you can't help but side with those defending themselves. The Russians really need to get rid of that sick individual...

Look, over the last few years, Turkey has actually held their own against the Russians quite a few times, and they hold their ground pretty solidly whenever things get heated. It’s not like Russia is even in a position to make any real threats toward Turkey right now, unless you're talking about full-blown nuclear armageddon.
Plus, let's not forget how Erdogan basically gave Putin a reality check when he started complaining about those drone sales.

Everything is standing, but nobody called Putin to come "liberate" them.
He invited himself.

And things can always get worse... Ukrainians are Hollywood compared to the alternative Putin is offering... I think that's obvious to everyone.
