Last year, there was this specific window where by the time they finished waiting for testing slots and gave the epidemiologists enough time to actually process each classroom, the final SI decision would arrive on the very last day. 😂I mean, unless you think some little green alien is suddenly going to swoop in and write up all those reports. And more importantly, they'd have to sit down and interview every single kid individually to ask if they were hanging out with Peric or Maro that day. 🤣For our school alone, I doubt even 5 FTE epidemiologists could handle that workload this week...

That is hilarious. Truly. Personally, I don't find it funny at all. There could easily be legal repercussions here since sending a student into isolation without proper grounds obstructs their education and their entire future.
And their family's too.
I couldn't care less whether someone chooses to submit paperwork or not; the mere fact that the COVID-19 protocols aren't being followed tells me everything I need to know about how these harmful, sloppily drafted mandates shouldn't be binding in the first place.
I am officially done with this superficial obsession with checking boxes—it's been dragging on for three years now, and I've reached my limit.
There is plenty of work for the lawyers here.

It’s honestly pretty depressing seeing how none of the other parents stepped up to back him, because that's the only way anyone actually wins in this life—but I guess that's just psychology doing its thing. He’s the black sheep, while everyone else plays the part of the "reasonable" citizens.

It's because they don't think like the rest of us, and honestly, that's a dangerous thing.

Look, maybe the reason the rest of the parents aren't jumping in is simply because they don't want to deal with the massive headache or create an awkward scene for their kids just because someone wants to wear a mask for two minutes while walking from the school entrance to the classroom. Honestly, kids spend way more time wearing masks at the local grocery store than they ever would in that specific hallway.

Well, those parents clearly haven't realized that their kids have been drowning in stress from all these COVID-19 restrictions for ages now, which is exactly why we're seeing such a massive spike in kids heading to pediatric psychiatry.

It starts with a mask for two minutes today, and before you know it, tomorrow it's "just" this

Unfounded quarantines are happening right here in the States, too.
The epidemiologists aren't actually doing their jobs; they just send out notices without any dates or the child's name on them.

There just isn't a future to be found here. Uhljebistan has already done its worst damage. Honestly, those who packed up and moved abroad to find work? They made the smartest move possible.

The people pushing kids to follow these completely brainless mandates—stuff that has zero connection to actual epidemiology and is really just about bullying children (like forcing them to wear masks just to walk into a classroom and then letting them take them off, or doing the same thing at a cafe)—are nothing but heartless idiots. They’re basically the bottom-of-the-barrel scum of human morality.

nimbleranger17 said:But honestly, even in that school, those older kids—from fifth through eighth grade—don't bother wearing masks inside the classrooms at all. They only pull them up in the hallways or the restrooms. So, you're really only looking at wearing a mask for maybe a minute or two, just that brief stretch from the moment you walk into the building until you reach your desk. For the rest of the five or six hours spent sitting in class, they're just going about their business without any masks, totally normal.

What you’re saying is totally self-contradictory. Either the mask actually serves a purpose, or it’s completely useless, right?

Wearing it for a split second just to check a box is ridiculous. Teaching kids that "going through the motions" is fine isn't exactly great parenting. How are you supposed to explain the logic to a kid? If they only have to wear it in common areas, what's the point? It’s just nonsensical and really highlights how broken the whole system is.

Yesterday, I was in the elevator and my neighbor hopped in with her 4-year-old daughter. Honestly, listening to the questions she was asking about physics, you'd think she was at least 10. Kids aren't wired to accept stupid, irrational, or illogical answers—even though most adults seem perfectly happy with them. I tell you, that little girl taught me a thing or two.

Our local bureaucrats would fold in seconds if a 4-year-old hit them with a couple of logical questions like that.

Violating children's basic rights should be enough to cause any parent some serious stress.

First, they lost two months because of that strike back in 2019/20, and then they lost twice as much time thanks to the COVID-19 cult.
Sure, it’s fine if a parent has the cash to pay for private tutors, but what happens to the kids whose parents are struggling to make ends meet?

That’s exactly the point! 👍

Unfortunately, we adults have already learned that sometimes it's easier to just go along with the nonsense rather than getting into pointless fights with everyone around us, even when what we're doing is completely irrational and stupid.

How much longer are we supposed to stoop this low? Aren't these kids enough of a warning that we've seriously crossed the line with this stupidity?

Toward the end of the last school year, I found myself sitting down and talking with hundreds of kids in our local elementary schools, and honestly, the vast majority of them couldn't care less about wearing masks. It’s the adults who seem to have the issue; for the children, it's just a non-issue. I spent real time talking to these kids, face-to-face, so I can say with absolute certainty that I know what's going on much better than those self-proclaimed geniuses on Reddit who haven't had a meaningful conversation with a child in years.

And if you ask me, the real source of stress and instability for these kids isn't a bit of fabric over their faces—it's having to look out the classroom window every single day and see heavily armed SWAT teams and private security guards swarming the entrance to their school. That's where the anxiety comes from, not from wearing a mask between the front gates and their desks.

And there they are, the former painters, showing up right in front of the school again. Honestly, this is exactly what I was talking about

So, I’m heading into work this morning, right? And I see this little kid trekking uphill—like, a serious incline that would leave most people winded—dragging along some tiny backpack and wearing a mask. There wasn't a soul on the street. Honestly, who on earth talked him into that? 🤦

Well, if that's the case, then it doesn't even count as "contact" (you know, the whole 15-minute rule, chatting with someone within 6 feet, etc.). So what's the point of wearing a mask besides just spreading all sorts of other bacteria and viruses on those things that they end up pulling off and touching fifty times a day? Not to mention the proven physical and psychological toll masking takes on kids.

I've been trying to have a serious sit-down with his parents, basically pleading with them—considering all 307 other students are dutifully wearing masks in the hallways—that this 308th student should probably do the same while navigating the halls. "I should point out that he was perfectly fine wearing a mask all through last year, and that included during actual class time, not just when walking through the corridors," Governor kolar told Yahoo.

"The kids at this school don't need to wear masks during lessons because there’s plenty of social distancing in place. So, technically, that student only needs to bother with a mask for about thirty seconds until they step into the classroom," kolar remarked.

As I've mentioned before regarding the kids, wearing a mask isn't some massive burden for them, nor does it get in their way. And clearly, it wasn't an issue for this particular child throughout the entire previous school year either...

It’s honestly exhausting reading this, but apparently, the mother of this kid has gone on record claiming that masks are nothing more, nothing less, than carcinogenic.

And then you have the father, who’s out there bringing up divine laws as if we haven't heard that particular sermon a thousand times before. 😁

If people still can't wrap their heads around what's actually happening here, then frankly, I don't think anyone can help them.

"Epidemiologist: This whole thing in Appalachia is a joke, they're just putting on a performance for five minutes of wearing a mask"

I mean, seriously, what kind of epidemiologist is this? Are we really supposed to believe this entire circus is about public health when they’re only pulling out the masks for five minutes at a time? Who exactly is a mask protecting for a five-minute window while students are stuck in classrooms for hours on end? It feels like they're just selling us a bunch of smoke and mirrors at this point.

Pure stupidity, man... they don't need to do it in the classroom because there's plenty of space... yeah, right, because everyone knows air only stays within a meter or maybe a meter and a half of the person breathing, and that's it... air in a classroom just doesn't mix.

It's absolute garbage, and honestly, it goes for you people here trying to justify this too. You work with kids, you mold them from such a young age, you total idiots, all just to teach them one single thing—how to be obedient, even if what you're being told to do is completely brainless and makes zero sense.

Yeah, that's how we move into the future, isn't it? This is our children that we're going to "teach a life lesson"...

Let me say it again—this is just human incompetence, not actual epidemiology or professional science.
