Poor kids are just standing there by the entrance, unable to even get into their own school because of these ten scientists.🤦 🤦
Anyone who actually supports this isn't living in reality. This kind of harassment toward children is something we haven't seen in this country before. At least, I don't recall a time when a mob would just break into schools in America.
The protester who gave that statement to Yahoo said the word "legitimize" four times in one go🤣—so much for their intellectual expertise.

I’m looking at this from a standard, civic-minded, decent, civilized perspective.
In 2021, living in a modern American society, it is just fundamentally inappropriate for grown adults to be storming into schools to fight over various rights. It’s a complete misfire—they're hitting the wrong target entirely—and what’s even more egregious is the sheer amount of stress and anxiety they inflict on the children, who are forced to witness all this shouting and aggressive posturing right there in their own hallways.
We have ministries, we have the federal government, we have the CDC, and plenty of other institutions specifically designed for fighting for values and policy changes.
But no, instead, people choose to show up at a school entrance and block the doors so kids can't even get inside. It’s absolutely appalling in my civilized world. Perhaps in some backwater, primitive village, this kind of behavior would be considered normal, but not here.

These journalists are out here writing like they’re reporting on a full-blown siege of Ala 🙂 what absolute bottom-of-the-barrel hacks

"A literal mob stormed right into the school; the administrative assistant was desperately trying to hold them back, the kids were scrambled toward the side exits, and the police? They just stood there watching,"
one staff member recounted, describing the whole traumatic mess.
As some folks on Reddit might put it, this is just business as usual in a local elementary school. It’s become the standard operating procedure, something that apparently happens every single day now. Yep.

It’s perfectly predictable that this kind of behavior is standard in America when you compare it to those thugs over on Savska, or even what happened at Skea when the crowd gathered outside the MLS stadium in Miami just to shut down Frljić's play. It’s all the same mess, just different faces involved every time.

It’s all just a big play to stir up public outrage against anyone who doesn't want this "new normal" forced onto their kids. Now suddenly everyone’s treating children like victims, conveniently forgetting they weren't being treated like victims while all those mandates were being enforced.

It feels like someone capable of hijacking credit and snatching a Nobel Prize is certainly capable of harboring racism too.
But she passed away from cancer and didn't get the Nobel.

The principal basically said nobody’s wearing masks in our classrooms. He even mentioned they don't wear them in the teachers' lounge either, where all the adults are hanging out and everyone's already vaccinated, so why bother?
So he’s just straight-up ignoring the CDC guidelines. I don't get why he's even bothering to make the kids wear them just to look good for the cameras.

They’re sticking to the script. It was established ages ago that you could ditch the masks in indoor spaces provided everyone could produce a valid COVID-19 vaccination record. Honestly, even the coaching staff demonstrated that quite publicly once upon a time.
And when it comes to kids sitting in classrooms, there's no need for masks as long as they can maintain that one-and-a-half-meter buffer between desks.
So, really, I have to ask—what kind of "violation of measures" are you even talking about here?

nimbleranger17 said:A little girl started feeling sick at school, and she was practically begging for someone—anyone—to go out and find her mom because she was terrified of the protesters outside. "It’s an uncomfortable situation, but we are doing our absolute best to handle it," said the principal, Samson Štibohar.
When they arrived at the school, those protesters were actually pulling on kids' sleeves, telling them they shouldn't be wearing masks.

It is just absolutely surreal that this kind of thing is happening in a country like America. I honestly thought people here were civilized enough to realize that staging these kinds of unhinged protests right at schools and on school grounds is crossing a line.
It blows my mind that there isn't more outrage over this back home. This is completely unacceptable. Harassing children under the guise of "divine laws" and claiming masks are "carcinogenic"? I truly cannot wrap my head around how any sane person could support this madness.
Of course, this is completely unacceptable. You just call the police and the paramedics—let them handle the transport based on their own clinical indications.

Just because something was said a while back doesn't mean it makes any sense now, especially since under different circumstances, EVERYONE is forced to wear masks indoors just because even the vaccinated can spread the virus.

They don't have to, you're just making things up as you go. If everyone in the room has their COVID-19 documentation ready to go, there's absolutely no need for them to be wearing masks.

If you bother to look back through my posts, you'll see I stated from the jump that the only place they should be heading is Times Square, not a school.☕

I guess the parents were trying to trigger some kind of domino effect here, hoping other families would follow suit, but violence is never the answer.
If they actually wanted results, they should have had all the parents from one grade level coordinate and agreed to keep their kids home until the mask mandates were lifted. You know, doing things in a polite, civilized manner.
Now, that might have actually been a productive way to fight the masks.
Instead, they just ended up looking like bullies, leaving everyone else to fend for themselves. I suppose they've just ensured that everyone will be coming after them now.

You’re being pathetic, just like that provincial Biden's lackey.
Any disruption to the safety of students by anyone—including these protesters—needs to be strictly prosecuted under the law.
Just as we should prosecute the crony who escalated the conflict and decided to play hero for the sake of his own self-promotion while claiming to protect the children. And based on what I've seen, he lied about it too...

Is there actually any serious initiative out there yet, and more importantly, where does one even begin? Let’s say, for example, a group of parents in a single grade level collectively decides they aren't interested in masks—how does that even play out? You can't really tackle this at the classroom level because once the principal makes a call, it supersedes whatever the teacher thinks, right?

Well, I suppose you could just follow in the footsteps of those idiots over in Cleveland.
Maybe try tutoring kids right outside their school.🤦

it’s a silly question, so I suppose we should expect a silly answer.
do you personally happen to have any clever suggestions?🍿
