Angela Brooks4 said:This whole situation is nothing more than a Saturday Night Live skit. We’ve ended up with two distinct camps of parents: those who agreed to let their kids wear masks in the hallways, and those who refused. The common thread between both groups? They spend all their time hurling monstrous insults at one another. Am I really the only person here who isn't losing sleep over Corona? Honestly, the constant fighting over whether to wear a mask or not is what actually hurts. When I go to the grocery store, I just put on a mask, grab what I need, and head out. Why make such a massive ordeal out of it? What is the actual issue with a child walking into an elementary school wearing a mask, only to take it off less than a minute later once they reach their classroom? Some people are claiming that masks are imported from China and are somehow carcinogenic. Please; most Americans smoke a pack a day anyway, so where is the logic in that? It seems like everyone has suddenly decided to become a doctor overnight. Personally, Corona doesn't affect me in the slightest; I have a hundred other things in my life that require my attention. Ninety percent of my daily routine remains exactly the same as it was before the pandemic; that remaining ten percent is just wearing a mask at the store.

A Saturday Night Live skit is supposed to be funny, but this isn't even remotely comical.

Breaking the law and stripping away human rights isn't a joke.

There is no law on the books that can stop a kid from walking into an elementary school without a mask. That means laws are being broken and children's rights to an education are being violated.

This isn't comedy, friend.
It's a gateway to dictatorship.

Taking a kid away just for a costume?

So, is there actually a rule against seeing a doctor without a mask? Is that even a thing?
I don't get why everyone is making such a huge deal about masks in schools, but they aren't demanding they be able to walk through hospitals or clinics without them.

Fine then, let's just blame everything on someone. Let's just claim our rights are being violated everywhere we turn.

What I find even more tragic is how certain schools are forcing masks on younger students—kids whom the Department of Education was generous enough to exempt. Yet, parents follow along blindly.

So, you're comparing hospitals to schools now? Goodbye, logic.😵
First, answer the question of who occupies a hospital versus who occupies a school, and then you might realize how nonsensical your argument actually is. 🤦

Elementary School is mandatory under US Law.

Are we seriously comparing doctors to kids in an elementary school?
Why don't we compare them to firefighters instead?
I mean, isn't there a much higher chance of kids getting hurt in a school fire or an earthquake than from Corona?

Fine, let's give them masks, oxygen tanks, special little firefighter suits, extinguishers, and axes to break down doors. That should make them feel safe enough, shouldn't it?

Corona isn't the real threat to these kids. Forcing them into masks and isolation just doesn't make sense—we're actually doing more harm than good.
Let's just be honest and realistic here.

Let's clear the air here for a second, because it seems like some people around here haven't even cracked a textbook on basic legal principles.

You have the government directive right here:

which explicitly states that classes must be conducted according to these specific guidelines:

So, damn it, there actually *is* a regulation in place requiring kids to wear masks in schools.

Principals of Elementary and High Schools are required to organize the operations of their institutions in accordance with the Models and recommendations outlined in paragraph 1 of this section, ensuring that instruction proceeds without interruption.

If we want the pen to actually be mightier than the sword, people need an education and the ability to think critically—which, let's face it, feels like pure science fiction in this country.

Here’s what I know for sure: the virus isn't the main threat to kids, but forcing them to hide behind plastic masks and pumping them full of massive amounts of chemicals? That's a real risk.

Picking on children is just something bitter old folks and immature losers do.

I'm with you on this. My little girl—she's 7, well, 12 months ago she was 7, now she's basically there--was actually asking to sit in the front row right by the teacher's desk because that window is always open. She told me she just can't get enough air under that mask.
They have six hours of school every day. Sometimes seven, if they're doing extra stuff. That is a long time to be stuck under a mask for adults, let alone for children.

Given the sheer absurdity and constant contradictions of all the mandates throughout this entire Corona saga, requiring masks in the hallways feels about as logical as a principal deciding you have to perform two squats in the corridor and stick your right index finger in your left ear before entering class, or else lessons simply won't happen. On top of that, there’s now this idea floating around that the government should consider stripping parental rights. I wouldn't call myself a confrontational person—I actually find observing the psychology of the masses quite fascinating—but if anyone truly attempted to screw over parents by taking away their children, I would be the first one out on the streets standing right beside them.

Finally!
I really hope they keep this momentum going. The FBI has officially confirmed that several violations have taken place.

Masking in schools is nothing more than a relic of the pandemic era. Honestly, where would people even be if they finally took them off kids' faces? Some folks might actually start believing the pandemic is truly over.
Apple can't afford to stumble here; otherwise, we’ll have anti-masker agitators starting to tear us apart from the inside all across the country. If we cave on this, how are the Jerusalem TikTokers ever going to take us seriously come October 1st?

We've been fed fear and paranoia for almost two years straight.
What kind of disease are you actually fighting by pumping everyone full of anxiety and hysteria?
I’m no doctor, but I am asking seriously.

I see where the disconnect is.
I referred to a law, while you're just pointing at an executive order and a set of guidelines.
Those aren't the same thing.

Everyone is struggling to catch their breath, so why wouldn't the little ones, who are still developing, feel it even more?
Just let them breathe freely, people... honestly, it's like we all got brainwashed when we were kids.

Like, seriously??
(By the way, according to the school handbook, they're only supposed to have one test a day, maybe four a week—so... 🤷)

Personally, back when I was in Elementary School and especially through high school, I had two or even three exams in a single day, plus homework, papers, and seminars—which they call "projects" now—and reading assignments... and everything else.
And honestly, it didn't feel like "persecution" to me.
I mean, there isn't any other way to actually learn things besides studying and doing the work—if anyone has a better idea, please, let us know.

I didn't experience it personally, but most of the time I was walking into school through that dark, communist gloom, so what do I know about modern times?
Even so, I graduated with top marks, went through various schools and universities, and I don't feel even remotely deprived in terms of general knowledge. Quite the opposite, actually.
So yes, allow me to suggest that cramming massive amounts of material into students and constantly testing them on such an overwhelming curriculum is, indeed, exploitation—especially for those younger kids in Elementary School.
In our local school district, children aren't usually suffering from trauma caused by the Corona pandemic; rather, they are traumatized by this "school for life" concept, the latest invention of our educational system.
They are constantly falling ill, vomiting, and so on.
The teachers claim it's just a virus.
The parents say it's school-induced stress and an overly demanding curriculum.

Oh, there are solutions, believe me. But I won't go too far off-topic; there's no point in rambling here.

No, they certainly are not the same.
The latter category consists of subordinate acts which, true to their nature, are mandatory; they serve to clarify, implement, or provide guidance pursuant to the governing statute.
Now, please, go ahead and suggest that every single individual should have the discretion to decide which specific law, decree, or ruling they feel like following—just based on whatever whim strikes them at the moment. 😵

In terms of how they actually have to be enforced, what's the fundamental difference between them?

Of course we won't. To actually suspend the US Constitution and federal laws, we would have to declare a State of Emergency.
Only then would the decisions made by the President of the United States sit above US Law and the US Constitution—though still staying beneath fundamental human rights.

Just imagine... it's the 21st century and here I am, lecturing about human rights.😁

Honestly, it feels like you don't even grasp the most fundamental legal concepts. I mean, really, we’re sitting here having this conversation, and it becomes increasingly apparent that the basic tenets of the law are just flying right over your head. It’s a bit exhausting, if I'm being completely honest.

You have to respect the US Constitution, the federal laws, and all those various administrative regulations just as much as one another. It’s an even playing field, really. That is simply how the legal system functions here in America.

That is precisely what certain principals are doing, at least regarding the lower grades.

Are all these people protesting in Palm Springs working afternoon shifts just so they can make it out to stand in front of the elementary school in the morning?
