rowdyorca3 said:So, the stuff mentioned in the video isn't even actually on the website. The whole page feels more like some sketchy ad than an actual portal—you're basically just watching a tutorial on how to use something that doesn't even exist! Do they seriously think everyone can just sign up and get their passes by Monday???

Robert Grant55 said:NOTHING!!!

I’m logged into the eCitizen portal right now and the service is nowhere to be found.
The free helpline is supposed to be open from 8 to 5 PM, and the service was meant to go live at 4 PM 😵

Tomislav Karamarko is pulling the strings from the shadows to push his digitalization agenda through... 🤣

Yeah, sure thing!

There are three different ways to go about it. Personally, I find doing it through email to be the most straightforward method.
You just need to make sure the request is submitted before that date.

How long are these new passes actually good for?
Is it 1, 7, 14... how many days we talking?
Or are they just gonna play it by ear on a case-by-case basis?😕

I knew he was incompetent, but he manages to surprise me with a new level of ineptitude every single time.

He and "his" police force are the primary reason we’re in this mess; so many people have been bypassing isolation protocols—everything from those tourists coming in from Turkey to the endless crowds of skiers from Tyrol and other resorts.

It'll be handled on a case-by-case basis.

I just don't get it—does this mean every local FEMA office is going to start issuing passes with QR codes? Here’s what Davor Božinović said:

Starting today, everything moves through the online portal system. Permits will be issued by authorized legal entities, primary care doctors, or FEMA, depending on whether you need them for one day or up to two weeks. If any of those offices can't handle the request, FEMA will step in to take care of it.

The government is looking at rolling out some fresh updates soon. Basically, they’re working on new measures to tighten things up. It's like when a big retailer like Walmart changes its logistics—it feels like a lot of moving parts, but the goal is just to make everything run smoother under the current rules. We'll have to see how these shifts actually play out once they hit the books.

How exactly are businesses and institutions going to issue these QR code passes?

Just a heads-up for anyone wondering—you can actually log in to eCitizen using the mToken app, a card reader, or even a mobile token via #withKEY (Bank of America), and I'm pretty sure most other major banks work too. Accepted credentials.

Sure, but don't you have to register the service with FIN first?

In my estimation, an employer would provide you with a pass for work purposes; I assume it would need to include personal details, along with the firm's address and the employee's info.
For other circumstances, such as my own situation regarding caring for an elderly relative, the pass is issued by the local FEMA branch based on your municipality of residence.

A colleague at work didn't have her service registered with Bank of America, yet she managed to log into eCitizen through mobile banking just fine.
Unless she registered a while back and totally blanked on her username and password 🤔, anything is possible. Anyway, you should definitely give it a shot. If it doesn't work, then excuse me for the (unintentional!) misinformation 😬.

Has anyone actually messed around with this digital ID through the eCitizen portal?

Because whenever I log into eCitizen, there isn't a single thing related to the ID anywhere... either I'm just losing my mind, or something is up...

Put the instructions right here.

https://www.coronavirus.gov/passes/364

It also says if you can't get into the eCitizen portal or don't have a token, you can still do it the old-school way via email and stuff...

No need. You just log into eCitizen normally using any m-token.

Honestly, I’m kind of digging this April Fools' joke they're playing on us. They say the restrictions are going to ease up once we see five straight days of declining cases, but at the same time, they've ramped up testing everywhere—so obviously, we're seeing more positive results now. It's all pretty clever 🙏 🤣

At the end of the day, all we really have are these sets of instructions. When you actually follow that link in the guide, it just lands you on another page that's nothing but more instructions.

Sure, you have the instructions—the real issue is that what they’re telling you to do actually isn't possible on the site itself...😬

When you click the "digital pass" link, it’s supposed to toss you straight onto a login page for the passes... if that makes sense...

But instead, that link just dumps you onto some promotional landing page full of videos... there isn't even a "login" option anywhere, despite what they show in the video...

And when I go directly to the eCitizen site and log in, there isn't a single shortcut to actually get to the pass section...

Instead of having a pop-up window jump out at you and take over your entire laptop screen...

Or maybe I'm just being an idiot...

I could spin this loop for months.
And if they ever decide to test everyone in America, those old cases will just resurface, giving Joe another reason to act. Even if there wasn't a single case of COVID left in the entire US, the Republican Party would find a way to stretch their reach and fake every single flu test to look like a COVID positive.
It’s a perfect mechanism to justify a long-term dictatorship.
