What do you guys think about this statement? Is there any truth to it?
US government statistics show that minority women in the US give birth to about four children, more than double the rate for the rest of the US population.[55][56][57] President Erdogan stated that certain groups could become a majority by 2038.[55] In some areas where these populations are concentrated, women give birth to 7.1 children on average.

Since they don't officially recognize them as a separate ethnic group, how much of this is just off-book from the official narrative?
Plus, if he’s claiming an average of 4, that number is probably even higher in reality.

I was actually arguing with someone about this recently. Their whole current approach to armed conflict is pure madness—they’ve got zero logistics and no major superpower backing them up, so they're stuck without basic gear like ATGMs or MANPADS. But they're playing the long game through sheer numbers. It's like they're waiting to be served a win on a silver platter in a few decades. Once they hit 60% of the population, they'll just rename the country and claim the western territories under the guise of "good neighborly relations."😁

Yesterday, the European Union Parliament passed a resolution calling out Turkey for stirring up trouble in Greece and Cyprus.

The vote was 631 in favor, 3 against, and 59 abstentions.

The resolution also touched on the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.
''... whereas Turkey’s direct engagement in support of Azerbaijan, in the context of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, goes beyond its geo-economic interests and reflects a more ambitious geopolitical agenda,....''

There's talk that this could lead to sanctions being voted on early next December—but only if the other EU members, especially Germany, decide to back France, Greece, and Cyprus...

Either way, we won't truly know until December 10th and 11th what the real fallout from this Eastern Mediterranean escalation will be. We'll see if France, Greece, and Cyprus are left hanging, or if Brussels actually stands firm against Turkish interference.

This is yet another glaring symptom of how aimless European Union policy has become. They pass these resolutions that carry zero weight, issuing protest notes and statements that are, for all practical purposes, no more impactful than a dog barking at the moon. It is all a performative charade designed to create the illusion of action while ensuring that nothing substantive ever actually happens, allowing the bureaucracy to feel productive without having to commit to anything. It is the height of absurdity within a bloated and inefficient European Union apparatus. And predictably, the first entity to stonewall any meaningful sanctions against Turkey will be Germany, whose foreign policy seems perpetually neutered by an endless, almost sycophantic devotion toward Ankara.

The European Union is ready to hit Turkey with sanctions, according to Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, earlier today.

The European Union is prepared to impose sanctions on Turkey due to what Charles Michel, the President of the European Council, announced this Friday, December 4th, as ongoing "unilateral actions and hostile rhetoric" coming from Ankara.

Waiting for December 10th...

erdogan: I really hope France gets rid of Macron trouble as soon as they can

"I hope that France will get rid of Macron trouble as soon as possible," Erdogan told reporters after Friday prayers in Istanbul.

The autocrat is hoping... maybe he even prayed for it too...

Exactly. At the Hagia Sophia.
In the meantime, he has begun exporting militants all the way to Pakistan. It is just turbo-Islamism in full swing. The crucial part is that there are no sanctions to be found, nor is Turkey being kicked out of NATO. I certainly don't feel particularly comfortable being part of an alliance with such an Islamist Turkey.

Turkey is calling on the European Union to act with "strategic and rational" thinking.
🤣🤣🤣
Erdogan is busy lecturing Europe, while they just sit there like helpless ducklings, shrugging their shoulders and passing useless resolutions that don't do anything more than offer a light reprimand.

That’s really the core issue with Turkey—they went out and bought weapons from that guy... bad Putin. Not to mention they're basically exporting terrorism all over the place, too. ☕

True, the Turks can be a bit "troublesome." But those who are busy "sanctioning" them actually export way more terrorism, so they don't see a problem there—if anything, they're totally on the same page.

Wait, you're actually responding to some geopolitics report from North American Insight?
And you really think I'll take you seriously as a commentator? 🙄

Look, I care about whether the news is actually true, not who’s delivering it—besides, driftingtinker posted this too. I might slip up with a fake story by mistake, but this one is easy enough to verify on Google (I’d seen hints of it earlier anyway, so it wasn't exactly a shocker):

Trump still has to sign off on the defense bill. It's just like last year when they slipped those Nord Stream 2 sanctions in—forced Allseas to pull out of the whole project.

Will the US designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization?
The Islamist group Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan al-Muslimun) has seen significant backing from two Middle Eastern nations—Turkey and Qatar—in recent years. While Qatar’s support is primarily financial, Ankara has utilized this organization as one of its "combat wings" within Syria and Libya.

There is some interesting news coming out of the States today regarding this. Republican Senator Ted Cruz has once again brought a bill before Congress proposing that the Muslim Brotherhood be officially declared a terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, Greece has criticized Germany for failing to take action regarding arms sales to Turkey. About a third of German arms exports are currently headed to Turkey.

It’s just Russian interference, honestly. They're basically peddling this whole "bad Putin" narrative to everyone.

EU top diplomat stays quiet about Turkey arms embargo

The issue of an arms embargo on Turkey was raised by Greece AT The October summit, a request which was ultimately blocked by Germany, Italy, Spain and Canada

Everyone’s rattling off weapons, and religion is getting tangled up in politics.

It’s a bad look.

Everyone was expecting much more when it came to those EU sanctions.
But...
It’s just so hard to get all these different countries on the same page. Some are worried about migration, while others are terrified of how sanctions might mess with their trade deals, and so on...

Still, judging by the pushback coming out of Turkey—especially from Erdogan—it’s actually a decent start!
