Yeah, word on the street is he's even losing his morning wood.

So, I guess geopolitics actually counts as a reliable source now?

How predictable.

The limp, spineless bureaucrats in the European Union lack the backbone to implement any meaningful sanctions without begging their masters across the Atlantic for direction—and let's be honest, even the US views Turkey as a much more vital strategic partner than the EU (which is merely an economic rival).

I mean, in this particular scenario, a whole bunch of them are actually walking away with some pretty solid benefits.

US Senate approves defense bill, paving way for sanctions on Turkey over S-400 missiles

Now that both the House of Representatives and the Senate have passed it, whether the US actually hits Turkey with those sanctions... it all comes down to Trump. He still holds that veto power...

He isn't going to impose them. It’s quite clear that Turkey is one of those golden calves that Western politicians are all too eager to worship.

I mean, they literally have a portrait of Suleiman the Magnificent hanging in their House of Representatives, and they built their whole identity on the legacy of the Ottoman Empire. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know...

Turkey just arrested 11 people working for Tehran.
They actually kidnapped and handed over a dissident—an ethnic Arab advocating for Khuzestan's independence.

Unbelievable...
It’s impossible to tell who’s pulling the strings or who’s paying the bills anymore...

Like I said, Americans are the ones pushing Turkey right into Russia's lap 👍

That is a massive, high-powered machine, honestly comparable to the Nazi regime in the 1930s.

First, they cleaned house. Now that they're certain there's no

fifth column left among them, they can deal with anyone else

whenever they feel like it.

A few dozen million brainwashed followers

under rock-solid leadership can achieve just about anything.

Actually, they did.

If the Russians end up bringing Turkey under their influence, they'll only have themselves to blame.

I recently had this realization about how Obama earned that Nobel Peace Prize like nobody else in history.
Look, you've got the Russians and the Turks—they've been at each other's throats since roughly 1475 when Turkey took over the Crimean Peninsula. And after about 550 years of fighting, Obama somehow managed to bring them together.
Or take the Russians and the Chinese.
They've been clashing over Siberia since the days of Ivan the Terrible. Even though China and the USSR were both communist states, that didn't stop them from going to war back in '69. And yet—boom—Obama "reconciled" them too.

Now his successor, Biden, is out here trying to play peacemaker between Canadians and Poles, and even trying to bridge the gap between Americans and the Russians. Real peacekeepers, truly.

Around 16,000 members of the Kurdish political party have been arrested or detained in Turkey. As an interesting side note, The Washington Post reports that roughly 29 percent of Kurds would vote for Erdogan’s Republican Party, while 32 percent would lean toward the Democratic Party:

Credit where credit is due to Turkey 🙏; they sent 140 containers, while the French minister (our new strategic partner) showed up in the US with a donation of just 6 containers.
