Just like any other cluster of ego-driven narcissists, he’s found some pretty fertile ground in this highly religious society of ours.
I mean, let's be real—if his ideas actually held any water, he'd be a household name across the globe, just like those legendary scientists or true visionaries we read about.
Instead, his entire audience is basically a cocktail of unstable personalities and folks who are stuck in a narrow-minded, religious mindset... people he "sells" his version of wisdom to in his own unique way.

I read through the thread about him and watched a few clips... 🤦 I’ve heard similar speeches at cult rallies. That level of narrow-mindedness is basically the standard operating procedure there. Honestly, how hasn't he started his own religion yet? This thread above pretty much nails exactly how he operates: That clip where he’s just chewing gum... that's the one for me. 🤦🤦🤦

So, how does it work? You’ve got Catholic priests out there actively promoting his book, yet he spends all his time spitting on the Pope and calling him the devil. Makes zero sense. 😲 Austin Wood basically preaches nothing but pure hatred. Honestly, that hits harder than his mindless rambling or those random Bible verses he tosses around. He spends all this time spitting on any attempt at interfaith dialogue, sowing division while completely contradicting the very scriptures he claims to follow. It’s no wonder people label him a religious extremist. It’s terrifying to think about what someone with that mindset could actually accomplish if they held any real authority—imagine if someone like him had been in power during the Inquisition or the height of the Cold War. 🤦

The last few Popes have done more to move religion forward than any Metropolitan or Dalai Lama ever could. Even if that progress feels agonizingly slow, there’s a real push happening at the top. I’m saying this as someone who isn't Catholic—honestly, I’m pretty critical of the whole faith myself. But the Popes have pulled off a lot of positive moves behind the scenes that most believers don't even realize happened, especially if they aren't positioned right where the gears are actually turning.

No intelligent person can argue against what’s objectively good—what actually leads to peace and progress. Take interfaith dialogue, for instance. I don't see anything wrong with that, nothing negative or harmful, regardless of who starts the conversation. But apparently, that doesn't sit well with the circles sponsoring these Desperian outbursts. Honestly, I don't see much difference between the Taliban and Desper. It's just a matter of time before he stops talking and starts acting like them. 😲 Then again, looking at how much Austin Wood hates absolutely everything and everyone, I can't see even a shred of what he constantly quotes—God's word.☕

Look, having an opinion and saying it out loud—even if it clashes with his or his fan club's views—isn't an insult. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just showing their true colors as a control freak, some kind of dictator who needs everyone to fall in line. Encouraging people to debate this guy's ideas would only feed his ego, making him think his clumsy manipulations actually worked. I'm not really buying these paraphrases he's throwing out there, but man, just as a father—I truly hope he finds peace with God and with that sweet soul that passed away. I hope he keeps that connection alive with his little "Angel" and feels that pull toward the Creator above everything else. As someone who believes in free will, I say let everyone do what they think is right, and nobody should be judging anyone else for it. But, I guess he shouldn't get too caught up in this false sense of "security." He shouldn't let himself get swallowed by this world of make-believe—things aren't always what they seem.
