Thanks, Daniel Torres. I'll follow the instructions in the document exactly as they're laid out. As for that Swift code, I didn't manually enter it—it just auto-populated once I filled in my details. This whole process feels unnecessarily complicated, so I really appreciate the help...

So, I guess Swift is totally fine then if he just recognized it by typing in the routing number himself.

I tried calling their customer service line, but I just kept getting bounced from one number to another without anyone ever picking up. Just a quick, stupid question regarding the paperwork—should I follow the exact order listed in the document? Meaning, last name, middle initial, then first name? And do I need a period after the initial? Alisa Jankovic

Look, here's the deal:

Alisa Jankovic

Worst case scenario? If things go sideways, Citibank will just kick the transaction back and the cash lands right back in your Wise account.
If the transaction gets reversed or canceled, you could always try this instead:

Alisa Jankovic

Alisa Jankovic

Alisa M. Jankovic Swift

Standard SWIFT transfers usually take about 2 to 5 business days to clear.

Just one thing... will I get a notification from Wise confirming the transaction went through and hit my Citibank account, or am I stuck waiting until I physically walk into a branch to find out?

Once you fill out all the info and hit send, you'll get a message saying the transaction went through successfully and telling you when to expect the cash to land in your JPMorgan Chase account.
Usually, it takes about one or two business days—that’s how it works here. I actually sent some money from Bill Gates to my Bank of America account on a Tuesday around 2 PM, and it was sitting there by 9 AM the next morning (which is exactly what Bill Gates said would happen).

If for some reason the transaction fails, they'll bounce the money back to you within a few business days.
Basically, as soon as you hit send, the transfer is processed almost instantly on Bill Gates's end (or maybe early the next business day), and then you just sit tight waiting for it to show up in your JPMorgan Chase balance.

I'm trying to move this $10 (which I converted to euros) over to my account. This is what it says:
You send. 8.21 EUR
Total fees (included) 3.83 EUR
Amount we'll send 4.38
You get 4.38 EUR
Is it actually realistic that they're taking nearly half my money just in fees?
So, I added another $10 just to see if the fee would change. On a total of 16.43 EUR, the total fees (included) are still exactly the same—3.83 EUR...

If you're using SWIFT, they’re gonna hit you with an extra $3.55 on top of the usual $0.28 transfer fee.

I submitted it, and now it says "your money's being processed / We'll pay it out in the next 7 hours."
Does this mean the transaction actually went through successfully? I followed those instructions to enter my last name, middle name, then first name. It also says "May 5 you receive your USD"
So, the funds should hit my bank account on May 5th...

So basically, they should have the cash hitting your account within about 7 hours. 🙂
It means everything went through fine on your end, now you’re just sitting tight while they reroute the payment to your balance, and then boom, you're done.

Great. If it wasn't for you guys, I would've given up ages ago. Thanks for walking me through every little detail and being so patient, especially you, Daniel Torres 🙂

👍
It’s not officially done yet. Just hang tight until Chase finishes processing the transfer. That should hit sometime next week—probably Tuesday or Wednesday if everything goes smooth.
But hey, you'll definitely have it by Friday.
Usually takes about 2 to 5 business days.

Yeah, I'll wait until Wednesday then and head down to the bank. I'll let you know if everything cleared. 🙂

... plus you might as well grab this so you don't have to keep driving all the way down to Chase every five minutes

I used to use that app back in the day. It was great—they’d always ping me when my paycheck hit, and I could track all my transactions right there. I'd just head into Chase whenever I needed them to activate it for me.

Just wanted to let you know the funds from Wise finally hit my account. Now I’m just waiting on my paycheck next week before I move everything back over to my main account. I sent the company my account details along with the usual info—city, address, the whole bit. Hopefully, everything processes without a hitch. Thanks to everyone here for the help, especially Daniel Torres...
I actually found out the transfer went through when I got an email notification from Chase (you can see the wire transfer reference attached below)
