They just hit me for another $20. Does anyone here actually know why this keeps happening? How is it that none of you guys are getting drained like this?

Around here in the States, we take SEPA transfers without any extra fees, provided the sender is based within the EEA.

Thanks. I’ve been receiving money regularly through Wise for months, but this last two times they’ve shaved $20 off. My bank claims it has nothing to do with them, while Wise tells me to take it up with the company. The full amount hits my Wise account exactly as my salary should be, yet when I move it over to my local bank account, $20 just vanishes. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the employer...

Has anyone here tried pulling cash from an ATM using their Wise card? I'm curious if you can dodge the fees entirely and what kind of daily limits we're looking at.

If you're talking about a virtual Visa, then it's a no-go. You've gotta have a physical Mastercard...

I'm actually talking about the physical Visa card itself, so I apologize if I didn't make that clear earlier.

Didn't realize they actually issued physical Visa cards. I'm just rocking a Mastercard...

I actually had no idea about Mastercard 🙂
I just set up my Wise account recently and ordered a Visa card, so I was wondering if you can use a Mastercard at ATMs here in the States without getting hit by any extra fees?

Sure you can. I take dollar deposits straight into my Wise account all the time.

How long does it actually take for funds to show up in a Wise account? Someone sent me a payment to my USD account via SWIFT, and it said it would take about 5 business days. Well, it’s been 7 days now and still nothing!

Hey everyone, I hit a bit of a snag with my transfer this time. Usually, the funds hit my bank account within minutes, but now I've been sitting here waiting for hours. It just says "your money’s being processed" right now... hopefully everything turns out fine...

My funds are still stuck on "your money’s being processed"... Does anyone have any idea why they haven't hit my bank account yet?

My new Wise card finally arrived today! It’s actually pretty interesting—it doesn't have an American BIN, but instead shows one from Belgium, and it even features the "Visa Infinite" logo.

SCHEME / NETWORK: Visa
BRAND: Infinite
TYPE: Debit
PREPAID: No
COUNTRY: Belgium
BANK: TELLER, A.S.

But wait, isn't that an American BIN? It’s honestly such a pain when you can't find an American card that actually works for certain services.

Looking back at my collection, I don't think I've ever actually held a Belgian card in my hands. Right now, my active lineup includes cards from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, France, Belgium, Sweden, Russia, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Poland, and Brazil 🙏 🙏 I hope I haven't missed any 🤣

Yeah.
Those virtual Wise accounts are basically just Belgian setups too...

Is there any way to send money from Wise over to AirCash? Has anyone actually pulled this off yet?

I did it once, but man, that was a lifetime ago.

Wait, you gotta convert that into dollars first or what?
