Carl Rivera43 said:I gave it a shot. Not many people really noticed me, but honestly, it doesn't matter. It felt good. And hey, sitting, standing, and walking upright is generally better for you anyway, though I forget to do it way too often.

But isn't that the whole point? To feel better within yourself, to cultivate a bit of positivity? Once you have that foundation, you can start working on those negative traits you've always wanted to iron out. Maybe, somewhere down the line, you'll realize people find you easier to be around, or they start noticing you more... though by then, you might find you don't even care that much. Don't forget to smile, either. You wouldn't believe what an honest smile can do for your own soul, or for the people around you.

So, here’s what really trips me up. Sometimes I just don't see things until it's way too late. It feels like everything only clicks once I've already taken a hard hit and learned my lesson the painful way.

"Some people genuinely believe they can learn how to project positive energy, as if there are certain magic phrases or specific sentences that generate positivity on their own. That’s just not how it works.
Energy, whether it's positive or negative, comes from within. You can't pour out something that isn't already inside you.
If we want to spread peace, we have to find peace within ourselves first.
If we want to share joy, our own hearts need to be full of it first.
Otherwise, even the most comforting words will just sound like empty noise coming from a bitter person."

Look, you can always learn. It’s just plain bizarre to throw away opportunities for change when they're right in front of you.

It’s just a teenage dream...

If you started attracting everyone constantly, you'd eventually have to deal with the massive weight of all that attention and actually give something back to keep it going. Once people start swarming you, it stops being fun pretty fast.
We all know how most celebrities end up anyway.
It's the same when someone tries too hard to be happy and sacrifices everything else, only to end up with zero actual peace of mind.

Maybe we really should be careful about what we wish for and what comes with it.

-How do you become that kind of person?
Can you work your way up to being that person? Not really.
There are just those moments where you suddenly shine, but even those pass. Everyone has them, and everyone will again. Who knows when or where?! Better to just let it happen naturally... The truth is, those moments don't last nearly as long as people want them to.

And honestly, that's for the best. Everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Even a literal magnet loses its pull over time—that's just how it works. It's not meant for us, so why stress out about it...

So, check this out—I had this buddy back in elementary school who was super withdrawn, you know? Like, totally full of insecurities and struggling with being overweight. I saw him throughout high school too, and honestly, nothing had changed at all.
He was basically the kind of kid where you'd barely be able to squeeze out a "hey" or a "what's up?"
Fast forward through the years, and of course, all us kids eventually moved out of the old neighborhood and grew up... and I ran into him after a huge chunk of time passed.
Man, this guy is a completely different person now! He’s still a bit on the sturdier side (even though he lost weight), but he's so outgoing and actually seems like a blast to hang out with. Seriously, the dude is unrecognizable.
We ended up adding each other on Facebook later on. He’s married now, has a kid, and there isn't a single trace left of that shy little boy from back in the day.

It really got me thinking... if he could flip a switch in his own head and transform himself from a boring kid into an interesting, engaging human being, then I truly believe you can do the exact same thing with your magnetic energy.

I honestly think it all boils down to just being chill and living in the moment.🍿

So, yeah, that’s really it. It takes grit and pure persistence—and honestly, plenty of late nights fueled by too much coffee—but if you've got that deep-seated, natural drive burning in your gut, making it happen just feels like common sense, doesn't it?

Honestly, I don't think being "chill" is even as important as just being uninhibited—even if you come off a little awkward or stiff, as long as you don't care... 🙂

Everyone is a little awkward on a first date. It's like: "What are they thinking of me right now?"... fidgeting around... maybe a little shyness, some nerves, tension... being overly careful not to spill a drink or break something... In that vibe where you clearly like each other, you both end up acting like klutzes, and you shouldn't even care because you're too busy enjoying it. There's something genuinely magical and hypnotic about that kind of clumsy charm.

I mean, who can even plan that?
It’s just a moment that happens where we are naturally ourselves, and who knows what other versions of us might show up... 🙂 Sometimes you'll suddenly blush from embarrassment, and that actually makes you even more attractive to the other person
🤣
You just have to let yourself be surprised, because you can never truly be prepared for the moment.
Maybe that's where the magic is... who knows...

I honestly think it just comes down to charisma—that thing you can't just buy or learn.
You’re either born with it or you aren't, kind of like those legendary actors, artists, or musicians who are just... one of a kind.
Because when you look at people who are trying way too hard to pull it off, they just don't hit the same way as the real deal. They don't leave that lasting impression.
So, why even bother trying to be someone else? Why force it? Why act fake happy, or fake sad, or just fake, fake, fake... it's exhausting.
To me, the most powerful thing you can be is yourself. Like, a girl quietly lost in a book, playing with her hair while waiting for someone, can grab way more attention than someone dancing like crazy to get noticed. It's all about taste, vibes, and the energy you put out there.
Man, thank God we aren't all clones. It's all about that natural balance, you know?

When you try too hard to force something, it logically just won't work the way you want it to.

You can't really pair "forcing" with "moderate."
It’s like saying you have "moderate aggression."
Just doesn't work.
Better to just not force it at all.

Nah, pushing things a little isn't the same thing as being aggressive. Look at it this way: if I moderately push myself to hang out with a specific group of people more often, it might lead to meeting someone totally awesome later on—someone I never would have crossed paths with if I hadn't made that initial effort to be part of the circle.

Moderate forcing? Honestly, just the word "forcing" sounds unnatural. It’s basically synonymous with being unhealthy.

Look, you can't just explain it to him, period.
Basically, the whole point is that there are certain people who just radiate this energy, and you can't exactly study for that in a classroom.
All that stuff you guys are talking about—learning how to be happy? That’s one thing. But being happy doesn't mean you're automatically going to command a room or have that unexplainable aura that draws everyone in.

If you’re going to force something, at least force people to listen... without interfering. Just listen to what others have to say... you can't teach someone how to be happy. You can fake it, but genuine happiness is obvious... 🙂

Man, for sure.
It's actually pretty simple.
Just lean into the stuff, the people, and those little moments that actually make you smile, and cut out the crap that's just bringing you down.
I think most people either just don't have the guts to do it, or they haven't even figured out what makes them happy yet.🐔

Why would moderate pushing be considered unnatural? If you're doing it to pick up new skills, or to climb just a little higher up the ladder, or to get the bigger picture—isn't that worth it? Isn't it worth breaking those old stereotypes and those unwritten rules about how things supposedly can't be changed? You have to try. Persistence can be a long, winding road, I know. Sometimes it involves tears and struggle, sure. But even the yellow leaves eventually turn green again. The sun doesn't just vanish; it just hides for a while.

By the way, let’s be real: most people have probably bent the truth a little bit on important things, like job interviews. Let's face it, opportunities are hard to come by. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride just to get a foot in the door. I remember times when people thought I was totally incompetent at work. Honestly? I loved proving them dead wrong. They had no right to judge me so quickly.

That’s what I call grit. Pure hustle.
Basically, you think you can just "learn" how to have that certain something? Honestly, I think that's just wishful thinking.
Because by the time you finally "learn" how to get that spark, I'll have been miles ahead of you for ages.
Metaphorically speaking, of course.
That invisible vibe... you either got it or you don't.
It's as simple as that.
Not everyone is built to be unique.

I mean, seriously, why would anyone turn down the chance to discover something new? Sure, maybe you forget certain things when the timing isn't right, but they usually come back to haunt you later anyway. It’d be such a shame to just let life pass you by and get stuck in a rut, wouldn't it? Why miss out on exploring what's actually out there? At the end of the day, we aren't robots.

I’m always all about leveling up and embracing the new stuff.
So, huge props to that optimistic energy 🙂
