What do you have to do with building character, upbringing, and how people see you? That kind of stuff takes years to develop. It’s not just some snap decision you make overnight.

Why the heck not?

I mean, isn't it exactly like quitting smoking or kicking any other bad habit? It all comes down to your mindset and making that call in your head.

Hasn't everyone had one of those days where everything just clicks perfectly? Or even if things aren't going great, it doesn't even matter because you're feeling absolutely incredible inside?

I honestly feel like it all boils down to being totally authentic and having a mind and spirit that isn't weighed down by all that extra baggage.😉

What kind of habit? Read the whole thread first so I don't end up repeating myself.

Maybe it doesn't happen overnight, but let's be real—it's not like we're building this thing over decades either. A lot gets put in, so you've gotta stay positive, right?

Alright... let's set a baseline here. My bad for missing that, haha

So, you decided this morning that you're just gonna start glowing and have the whole city notice you all at once? I'm dying to see if it actually works 😁

I don't care if the whole city stares at me. Honestly? All I care about is being seen by the people I actually vibe with {and I'm definitely making strides in those areas}

Procrastination is still a thing, sure, but seeing even a 1% improvement feels like such a massive win. It’s enough to keep me moving forward!

I have begun to radiate a certain level of positivity and, perhaps, a bit of good luck 🥳

Thanks to everyone here for finally opening my eyes to the reality of things 🙂

Being understood by the people you're comfortable with? Yeah, that's pretty standard stuff. It’s right in the middle of the bell curve. If that wasn't happening, then you'd actually have some real issues to work through.

I thought we were talking about those rare types of people who have so much positive energy and charisma that they grab everyone's attention the second they walk into a room.

Try this little exercise. Walk through town. Not rushing, not scurrying like you’re late for a meeting, but just walking, as if you have somewhere to be but there's absolutely no hurry. Back straight, chest out, head up—not stiffly, mind you, just relaxed. Watch the people around you. If someone catches your eye, look them right back in the eyes. Be present. Don't look through them; look *at* them. And instead of staring at the sidewalk, give them a tiny, subtle half-smile. Like you just remembered something private and beautiful and couldn't help yourself. Just do that for a few laps until you're tired.

Then find a place to sit. Sit. Think about how that walk felt. Did you notice if anyone was looking back?

There are people who just naturally possess that quality. They actually know more than everyone else, they stay positive, and people are instinctively drawn to them. Those who try too hard to force that persona usually end up being exhausting... you either have it or you don't.

Thank God someone finally gets it! Cheers!

It really all comes down to that specific kind of energy—you know, staying positive, keeping a smile on your face, and just being genuinely kind to people... I found myself leaning into that mindset last summer, and I couldn't help but notice how much more positively everyone responded to me, because let's be honest, nobody actually wants to be around someone who is constantly gloomy or closed off.

There’s this great way to describe people like that back home—they just have that spark. That raw, vital energy. It’s something you’re born with; you can't learn it, and you definitely can't force yourself to become it. You either have it or you don't. In my opinion, you can try as hard as you want, but it rarely works. Usually, the people who try desperately to be "interesting" just end up becoming incredibly dull. They spend all their time trying to please everyone and fit in, but that’s not what it's about... Think about it like this: two people tell the exact same joke. One person tells it and the whole room is cracking up; the other person tells it and everyone just stares at each other in silence. That’s the difference. That inner spark. That hunger for life. Some people just breathe to survive, while others truly live. I hope that makes sense...

They're exhausting because their entire approach is backwards. Instead of cultivating their own true selves—doing the work for their own sake—they spend all their energy performing a role just to fit an image.
Everyone has the capacity to be "exceptional," provided they actually know what they're aiming for and put in the effort. In my view, the people who truly radiate that kind of light usually do so because they have a healthy sense of self and actual confidence. It isn't a performance for an audience. Honestly, I doubt they even care if anyone is watching.

rustytiger35 said:Hey everyone! 👋

Have you ever noticed how some people just seem to "radiate" this energy that pulls everyone’s attention and attracts all the best situations toward them?
It honestly feels like good vibes just stick to them like glue sometimes.
And I’m not even talking about being a supermodel, or having a PhD, or coming from a wealthy family in Greenwich.
They could have crooked teeth, an asymmetrical face, or totally awkward legs, but they still carry themselves in such a charming way that they have this massive influence on everyone around them.
These are those unforgettable types—people who subconsciously draw others in because they just have that irresistible "it" factor that makes it impossible to say "no" to them.
There is just something about their posture, their vibe, or their body language that forces you to take notice.

They’re the kind of people you instinctively turn your head to see when they walk down a street in NYC, not necessarily because they’re gorgeous or wearing designer clothes, but because they just radiate something special.
Or even think about sales—if someone like that starts promoting a product, they’ll always end up with way more customers than anyone else.

It’s like they use their charm or their karma to make things work out perfectly for them, but it never feels forced or pushy. They are just pure optimists.
When you meet someone like that, you immediately want to be their friend or at least hang out in their orbit.

So, what do you think it is? Is it just karma, a deep understanding of human psychology, or something else entirely?

Do you know someone like this in your own circle or maybe even a neighbor who just glows and stays stuck in your mind, making you wish you hung out with them more often?

I truly feel like these people just happen to have a lot more luck on their side. 🙂

The big question is... how does someone actually become that kind of person? 🎉

Honestly, if you could just go to a store and buy a "charisma chip" to upload into your brain, I don't think anyone would stay sane for long.
It’s just a teenage dream...

If you started attracting everyone constantly, you'd eventually have to deal with the massive weight of all that attention and actually give something back to keep it going. Once people start swarming you, it stops being fun pretty fast.
We all know how most celebrities end up anyway.
It's the same when someone tries too hard to be happy and sacrifices everything else, only to end up with zero actual peace of mind.

Maybe we really should be careful about what we wish for and what comes with it.

-How do you become that kind of person?
Can you work your way up to being that person? Not really.
There are just those moments where you suddenly shine, but even those pass. Everyone has them, and everyone will again. Who knows when or where?! Better to just let it happen naturally... The truth is, those moments don't last nearly as long as people want them to.

And honestly, that's for the best. Everything happens for a reason, even if it doesn't feel like it.

Even a literal magnet loses its pull over time—that's just how it works. It's not meant for us, so why stress out about it...

People who actually command attention carry this unapologetic "I don't give a damn what you think about me" attitude, and they just live their lives without overthinking every single move they make.😉

I gave it a shot. Not many people really noticed me, but honestly, it doesn't matter. It felt good. And hey, sitting, standing, and walking upright is generally better for you anyway, though I forget to do it way too often.
