It appears to me—and I say this with the utmost sincerity—that you are having an exceptionally, quite profoundly good time...
at the expense of those who actually took you seriously...😉

Weedo, it’s honestly such a drag when you’re swimming in ideas but have zero drive to actually make them happen. Making assumptions can be a real trap, though I bet it just comes from old habits.

And regarding your schedule, hmm, well, that usually depends on the people around you—and let's face it, some of them are just guessing anyway.

Still, if you're looking for some higher purpose, it's always a good idea to visualize what you actually want out of life.
Anything in nature can spark an association or a fresh thought. For me, whenever I hear birds chirping, I suddenly feel this huge urge to go watch a nature documentary.

So, maybe try adding a few documentaries to your monthly routine? If you're into music, definitely check out some music docs too.

You can learn a ton through trivia, too. And hey, reading old newspapers is great—just before you use them as drop cloths for painting the house!

As for music, I’d even suggest listening to stuff that isn't really "your thing." Like, classical music isn't my vibe at all, but I'll listen to it for about thirty minutes a day, and it actually helps my focus.

I mean, just being active on this forum is already a win in my book. At least until the bans start rolling in—then we're talking temporary failure!

Or you could play detective! Grab a true crime magazine and try to figure out who did what and why.
Life is a mystery, right? That's what Madonna says, and she's sold hundreds of millions of records.

New Year, new wins, new things to look for... but let's not forget those good old habits!

I honestly thought he was just trolling—but given the situation and what’s in this PDF, being that tasteless would be too much even for him. He wouldn't even have the nerve to get angry about it.

Look, my whole deal is that I’m basically living without any structure, any plan, or any kind of organization whatsoever.
The meds and the therapy sessions are all fine and well... but you still have to find a way to actually survive those 24 hours every single day...

I mean, if I go see my therapist for one hour... where does the other 23 hours go?

It’s not like I can’t stick to a schedule if I actually feel like it's worth my time!

Right now, I'm just drifting with zero direction, totally left to my own devices. If someone walked up to me and said, "Hey, you've only got five minutes left"—honestly, I wouldn't even ask for another minute, an hour, or a day... I'd just be relieved because honestly, just grinding through one day after another has become so exhausting... I'd see the end as a total relief.
I know deep down it won't be that easy.

And at the same time, I'm fully aware that I still have a massive mountain of 24-hour stretches left to get through.
.... Given how things are right now, everything feels completely chaotic and I'm literally just waiting for something to give.

Please. Seriously. Let's work together to build a daily routine for me.
🙂

Good grief—you really should be asleep by now according to your schedule :P

I totally screwed the day up😢 I'm wide awake because I didn't do anything productive today,
plus my blood sugar just crashed hard, so everything is exponentially worse right now.
[By the way, I’ve definitely put on a few pounds since Christmas, and honestly, I can barely even fit into my jeans... gross]

So, anyway,
I've got this massive gap from 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM to kill.

That's almost eight hours... plenty of time to (again) just waste away while staring at the clock waiting for 4:30 to roll around.

Just grab some decent wood and those carving tools—make yourself a little sculpture or something. Who are you even hanging out with? Is socializing actually even your thing?

Carving sculptures just doesn't do anything for me.
I'm really not that kind of artist, you know? (I mean, I could probably pull it off, but it feels about as productive as making a wooden flute... which might be a solid plan if I ever decide to go full hermit in the Rockies)

As for friends, I don't really have a crew. Just two or three regulars from the local diner I'll grab a coffee with every once in a while if we happen to run into each other...

Just commit to becoming a decent pool player—dedicate an hour or two a day to it and you won't have to deal with the freezing cold, plus there’s nothing quite like the feeling of sinking a perfect shot.

Look, if you've read my posts, it’s pretty obvious—I’ve hit rock bottom when it comes to being social. Honestly, whenever I’m actually in a decent mood—which hasn't happened much lately—I think it would be awesome to grab a drink with someone from this forum. But then the thought hits me: what if my usual gloom and doom just ruins everything? 😁 It’s a bit embarrassing, really, because I’ve lost most of my faith in people, and I know I’ve left plenty of pretty dark posts on here. No matter how good an idea hanging out seems, I always end up thinking about how all my friendships eventually spiral into some kind of betrayal, leaving me just hating the person. A year ago, I would’ve reached out to you and mistyseal11 in a heartbeat to hang out, but now... I just don't know if there's any point.

Paul Thompson3, quit playing, you don't even have anyone to talk to anyway! Let's just grab coffee, the three of us. And if mistyseal11 starts acting totally psycho, we'll just run him over with the car.

Man, this is awesome. There was this one stretch where I was seriously obsessed with pool and darts.
then my buddy Birc brought over a ping pong table...
that was such a blast because I've been playing table tennis since I was a kid... (and later on I was killing it at tennis too) ... so my big challenge was trying to play ping pong left-handed....
eventually, that got kind of old, so I decided to take things to the next level...
basically just getting wasted and crushing everyone while playing left-handed. 😁

See? mistyseal11 is a pathological liar.🤣
edit: I'm actually into both ping pong and pool—I even got a chance to play on a professional Butterfly table once, and man, it's incredible. Nothing beats that feeling when you nail a bank shot and watch the ball hit the pocket at a perfect 90-degree angle.

House - street - neighborhood - city - state... or maybe stream - river - lake - ocean... the logic stays the same, life is just one long marathon {even when you're staring up at Mount Rainier or Lake Tahoe}

Carl Rivera43, you doing alright 😁? It makes sense—thinking long-term is always the smartest move—but it’s also kind of a drag, honestly. It takes a massive amount of discipline, maybe even some actual vision.

...it really makes you wonder what kind of (drunk) competition used to be out there fighting over pennies 🙂

anyway, I’m off to go contemplate my life choices... though honestly, probably won't achieve anything...
"how am I gonna crush it tomorrow!?" 🤔

doing the exact same thing every single day and expecting different results 🤮

Carl Rivera43 is the GOAT—I love catching his posts when things get intense. The competition used to be solid, though; we’d play like absolute maniacs, just going all out, only for the opponent to hit you back just as hard ten or fifteen times before you finally walk away from the table to clear your head. But honestly, that competitive drive? It doesn't really matter—it's mostly just noise anyway.

In my view, mistyseal11 is an incredibly selfish, self-centered, yet sharp individual—and I’m fairly certain they aren't even joking when they enjoy watching someone else burn through their time doing work for them. mistyseal11, am I hitting the mark here?

Here I am, feeling a little bit lost—though I’m still figuring things out

Oh, and you know, crises? They really just come down to the choices we make, whether it's one person or the whole damn group

Some things feel pretty fuzzy right now because, honestly, it feels like we've reached that point where it's just so hard to stay focused on the here and now.

just a bunch of useless rambling...

Right now, I’m just focusing on myself and trying to look out for my own interests, even if I can't quite put my finger on why... but deep down, I feel like I need to make a move... because, let's be real—I'm not going to be missed by anyone. And if I am? That'll blow over after a few beers and everyone will just move on... so it doesn't really affect me. Nobody gives a damn while I'm clearly falling apart right in front of them... and nobody actually wants to step up and help, either. I want to help myself, but *I have no clue how*
When you strip everything down to the basics (*) => it all boils down to just organizing my day and getting some semblance of a routine...
I'm incredibly miserable because I have zero direction in life, and every single day feels like an uphill battle, just a constant 24-hour struggle...

Honestly, I'd rather just knock back some sleeping pills and nap for like a hundred years straight...

edit: (*) taking prescribed meds and going to therapy sessions doesn't actually fix the core issue.
I'm not looking for some 6-week mental health retreat, an 8-week EFT course, or some 12-week weight loss regimen....

I'm looking for a F(word) lifestyle!
