So, it seems the only reason they gave was because I hit a certain limit.

Good luck!

Try selecting a different branch.

So, she called me this morning to tell me there's been a hiccup with getting that Chase Mastercard approved, and now I have to head down to the local branch after being handed a mountain of paperwork.
I guess they're asking for some kind of employer verification, which apparently is just standard procedure, but I might have stepped in it a bit since I'm not actually on a permanent contract—though I did tell them I was.

So, I was just sitting here thinking about this one thing, and honestly, it’s kind of wild how legal stuff works, right? Like, if you sign a three-year contract, you might think, "Okay, cool, I'm set for exactly thirty-six months," but if you really dig into the fine print and look at how things actually play out in the US, there’s this crazy technicality where a three-year deal could theoretically be treated as an indefinite contract! It sounds totally bonkers, I know, like something straight out of a weird legal drama on Netflix or something, but it’s one of those things that makes you realize how much of a headache paperwork can actually be if you aren't careful!

But hey, they finally cleared me for $9,500, though now I’ve gotta go see some notary who’s probably gonna be a total pain...

Is anyone here actually using the JPMorgan Chase online banking platform?

What’s the verdict—is it any good, or am I wasting my time? Specifically, can you see your Walmart card linked through the interface?

I’m seriously considering signing up, and it looks decent enough so far. However, I’ve decided I want a physical Gemalto token; I have absolutely no interest in those mobile app tokens. I just don't trust them. I currently manage digital accounts across almost every major institution I deal with—New York City banks, Citigroup, Chase Online, E*TRADE, Altria, The Mint, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Capital One—and I insist on having a physical hardware token for every single one of them.

How does that specific token actually work? Do you have to insert the card into it or something?

Or does it just spit out a code and call it a day?

Since you clearly have access to all those different platforms, which one do you actually think has the best interface? Like, what makes one stand out from the rest in your opinion?

Personally, I’d say Zabin is my top choice, hands down. Sure, the aesthetic might not be cutting-edge, but it’s perfectly decent and functional. I’m completely satisfied with it.

After Zabin, I’d go with Bank of America; their Mobile app is better, though for just a quick transaction here and there, the Internet browser version works fine too.

With OTP Bank—I found their online requests for cards and overdrafts to be a total nightmare, plus I can't stand the interface. It feels cheap and sloppy.

Goldman Sachs is functional enough, a solid okay.

Wells Fargo has really leaned into their mobile platform, but they desperately need to refresh their desktop site.

Chase and Citibank are incredibly basic—fine if you just need to move a few things around occasionally.

Royal Bank of Canada—not a fan, honestly. I can't even point to a single thing they do well.

Where can I actually go to see the transactions from my Mastercard revolving card? I’ve been checking both Zabin and the Zabin app, but for some reason, neither shows the card info or any of the spending.

Did you set up a standard checking account or a foreign currency one?

Fine. I can't see my Mastercard listed in either the Home app or the mobile banking interface. It looks like I'll have to get in touch with them to have it manually added to the system. 😒🤦
Just shoot an email over to info@jpmorganchase.com and ask them to link your credit card to your Online and Mobile banking profiles.
Let us know what they say once you hear back.

The card finally showed up about 10 minutes after I sent my email, so they actually came through for me. Thanks @leky5197

Would anyone be willing to share a screenshot of their online banking interface? I’m actually switching my accounts over to them this month, and I’d love to get a better sense of what the layout looks like before I dive in.

Well, thanks... I’m actually really liking this. Right now I’m stuck using Bank of America—it’s an absolute nightmare

Yo, does anyone here actually have a checking account at this bank? I noticed they aren't charging any monthly maintenance fees, which is huge because my Wells Fargo just started hitting me with all these ridiculous service charges $1.75.
Does this account come with a debit card or what?
The way their website is set up, it looks like you can only pull cash out at a branch location—does that mean there isn't even a card included?

That’s a non-card account. You just set up an automatic transfer ($0.67) to move money over to your main checking account—one less card to lose, plus you're paying way less than what Wells Fargo is charging you right now.
I think they include free SMS alerts too, so you can stay on top of your balance changes.

Personally, I think a setup like this is pretty smart if you're just using auto-transfers to feed your primary account, especially since most major banks charge way more per month than $0.67 what you'd need to keep in there for this combo to work.

Or, you could just open a Smart Financial account which is free. But in your situation, you'd probably have to close out all your current stuff at Wells Fargo first.
