Bitcoin approx 3600 USD, which is half of that much-hyped 7000 USD mark. Potential crash on the horizon? Or just a liquidity grab?

If anyone happens to be trading gold... I suppose they could also look into using automated trading via an expert advisor on the MetaTrader 4 platform

Bitcoin has been stuck at this level for nearly two months. We'll see. The bankers are certainly playing a greasy game.
Then again, Mike Maloney mentioned gold hitting $20,000 per ounce. The correlation between these numbers is hard to ignore.
I'd say there's a connection there.
But yes, you can definitely find the right positioning on Forex once you factor in these gold price projections. I’m looking for three zeros, not three decimal places.

Any connections here? My regards to the noble soul who would "grill" it all. Life’s impulses come at a cost, though I suspect the banker makes a valid point. It needs to be said. However, one must respect the proper sequence of events. Presumably, this points toward raising interest rates for a more stable start. On that note, one should certainly be wary of those aggressive, ad hoc austerity measures and "revitalization programs."

Hey!
I'm looking to pick up 100g of gold. Any tips on where to grab it? I've got a trip coming up in a few weeks through Scranton - Chicago - NYC - Philly... Does it even matter where I buy, or is the price pretty much the same everywhere based on the market?

I opted to go through an online retailer instead of visiting a physical shop, and I found the process quite straightforward... Shipping was roughly $30.

Anyone actually bought anything from this site? They’re claiming a $300 discount for new customers. Is that legit or just some total scam?

My German isn't exactly fluent—I mean, I can grasp the basics, like how you build the perfect tense using "have" or "be" plus the past participle, if that makes sense :P—but I definitely caught this part... they’re offering a three hundred dollar discount if you buy at least three gold coins.
You really need to watch out, though. Retailers generally try to pull fast ones on people, so those tiny fine-print details are where they hide the traps.

But to actually answer your question... I’ve never even heard of these guys, and believe me, I’ve moved a pretty significant amount of precious metals through my hands over the years.
Still, that doesn't necessarily prove anything one way or the other.

Question for you, though... how exactly do they know that you’re a new customer?
In the US, you don't typically need to show an ID for purchases under ten thousand dollars.

Too good to be true if you ask me. There’s no way they’re handing out $300 bonuses when they don't even play the margin game. Not risking it—I'm sticking to the big names I trust. Found this site https://www.gold.de/kaufen/goldbarren/100-gramm/ that compares prices.
Quick question though, what's actually the difference between a cast bar and a minted one?

I’ve been sitting here wondering what on earth has been going on with gold prices over these last three or four months

Back toward the end of October, I picked up an ounce at my local Chase branch for $2630. Now, looking at the market, you can snag one for about $2847, yet they're out there selling them for $2941 now.
I mean, that's basically a sweet 8% profit in just three months if you do the math.
Honestly, part of me wants to double down and buy more, but I'm stuck in this loop of second-guessing myself—what if we've already hit the peak and the whole thing just craters? Everyone seems absolutely terrified of another massive economic meltdown, so it feels like it’s a given that gold prices will keep climbing, but then again, who actually knows what the future holds?

Does anyone have any actual, intelligent insights to share regarding all this?

It all depends on your timing. I honestly don't care if I have to sit on my hands for 5 or 10 years waiting for a recession just to sell.

What’s the actual deal with buying new versus resale? Resale is way cheaper and I don't get why...

I’ve always been more drawn to those low-key, cerebral games—you know, things like chess, card games, darts, billiards, and all that sort of stuff 😁

I see people out there obsessing over every little cent, trying to save a couple of bucks on an acquisition, but honestly, who cares? It isn't about whether you hit the absolute peak of the market or not; it really just boils down to your entry point and your exit strategy... so why stress yourself out over a few measly dollars

Look, my plan is to hold onto this for the next 20 years, assuming life doesn't throw some massive curveball at me—and let's face it, you never truly know when that's going to happen... but I still have this nagging feeling that it actually does matter whether I’m buying in at $7,900 or $8,800 😁

Look, if you’re already second-guessing whether you’ll even have some extra cash tucked away for life's little curveballs, then how can you seriously talk about long-term saving? It doesn't add up.
And honestly—how much do you actually have sitting in gold right now to be stressing this much about buying more? And don't just give me some vague "a few thousand bucks" answer either.

I shop in Germany since that's where I live. Buying now because I'm betting on a massive surge in the next 2-3 years. If I gotta sit on it for 5, whatever, no biggie. Prices might even drop in the meantime, probably. But I'm not about to play games and wait around. Personally, I don't even look at gold as a short-term play.

Look, I’ve got basically nothing invested in gold right now, maybe just a single ounce tucked away somewhere.
But honestly, I’m ready to pull the trigger in the next few days and pick up another three or four ounces.
That would put me looking at several thousand dollars, so believe me, I'm not exactly indifferent about whether I'm buying at $2,500 or, I don't know, maybe $2,000 if things take a sudden turn I haven't seen coming—and let's face it, I probably haven't seen it because I don't track this stuff religiously, which is why I'm asking.

I just don't want to be caught off guard if they suddenly strike a massive new vein somewhere in the middle of nowhere, like deep in the Nevada desert or something, and the price craters instantly because the supply just spiked.

What exactly are you basing this "massive growth" theory on?
If you ask me, the only way we see a massive spike is if another recession hits and everyone starts panicking, fleeing the stock market in terror, and then people realize they have all this cash sitting around doing nothing, so they scramble to buy gold and—boom—suddenly it's back near $2,000 again.
Just speaking my mind here, I’m pretty skeptical about any sudden explosion in price; I'm leaning more toward just a slow, steady climb over the years, punctuated by the usual market volatility we've all come to expect.

When you look at how much money is basically becoming worthless everywhere—inflation this, inflation that—and you buy gold just to protect your value... what do you actually do with it once you have it? Are you going to walk into a grocery store and try to pay for a loaf of bread or a car with a gold bar? No. You end up swapping it right back for the same currency that's already losing its edge, and let's face it, it'll likely be even more worthless in the future than it is today.

There are plenty of red flags pointing toward an upcoming recession. I don't have the energy to write out a whole thesis right now, so just Google it if you want the details.

I'm with you on the second part. A slow crawl upward with some bumps along the way.
It’s tough to make a killing on gold, but then again, it’s also hard to 🙂
blow it all, unlike with Forex or crypto.
