Nothing surprising here. Back on August 16th, I wrote this when it was sitting at 1620 Dollars:

quiettrucker12 said:Things look good today, but don't get too ahead of yourself. The stock market is closing in on an April peak, and I doubt the S&P 500 can push much past 1422. It all hinges on the Dollar—it really needs to lose steam soon and step aside for a few days to let our quasi-currency take center stage. This rally might last another ten days or so. Personally, I see gold hitting a max target of 1700, though 1642-1670 feels more realistic. After that, we’ll probably slide down through most of September, maybe testing a floor around 1550 in November before we finally blast off again.

Well, those 10 days have passed. If things head south or manage a tiny nudge toward 1700, then everything is playing out exactly as planned. The problem is, seeing this play out in real-time feels way more sudden and aggressive than I expected—it almost looks like a total trend reversal.

Leave the guy alone, seriously—why are you all jumping down his throat like this? 😁
Maybe he'll be the one laughing when everything finally settles down.

What are you basing this month-long outlook on? Are you betting on a continued slide for the Dollar, or is there something else driving this?

Everything, really—but definitely not a weaker Dollar. It already hit my 1.26 target (I was actually aiming for anything between 1.26 and 1.27 on EUR/USD)... so, I'm looking at a stronger Dollar through the fall and no QE3. Sure, Ben could flip the script this Friday, but I'm not holding my breath.

I don't know how many times I have to say this, but the money printing is already happening—the Fed swallowed up 60% of all US Treasuries last year. This year? It’ll probably be even more.
The American economy won't survive theoretically without constant money printing—it's as simple as that. The fact that banks are just sitting on cash instead of actually investing it is a whole different problem.

Why even bother picking on him?😍........Look, we've been chatting back and forth with him and Francis just a little bit.......it isn't right to stay silent now, yet the moment prices start dropping, you can't even get a word in with those two......they immediately demand an explanation for why things are falling.🤣

In my opinion, this is just a temporary rally. I expect it to slide back down toward the ~1520 level again.

If this news about China injecting $800 billion into their economy holds up... metal prices are going to skyrocket😍...and commodity prices will follow suit too.😉

http://www.scoop.it/t/gold-and-what-...ence-telegraph

For context—the previous stimulus package was around $596 billion.

This would basically be a preemptive strike against Quantitative Easing—a full-on currency war. The article lists it in Pounds, which works out to about $1.25 trillion, or roughly 1 trillion Euros.

Exactly. Such a massive stimulus would be a direct reaction to the realization that the Fed is moving toward Quantitative Easing 3—or rather, it’s a sign that the decision has already been made and they're just waiting for the right moment to pull the trigger.

If that happens, anyone betting on a drop in metals prices can kiss those hopes goodbye.🤣

Right now, I'm mostly preoccupied with the tug-of-war between inflation and deflation, specifically wondering which one hits first and how the sequence will play out. That’s why I think it makes sense to hold some cash on hand—even if it means taking a hit if prices drop.

And let's be real—that "perfect timing" isn't happening until after the US elections are settled, regardless of who's in the White House 😍. Gas and grocery prices here in the States are hitting ceiling levels, inflation is a nightmare, and unemployment is still a mess. Meanwhile, the Stock market is sitting at these crazy highs. For Obama, kicking off more Quantitative Easing right now would be straight-up political suicide. The only way that works is if they're planning to install that Mormon candidate (who, by the way, seems pretty hell-bent on an invasion of Syria)

I was just about to ask—where on earth did Mizuzul disappear to? 🙂

It's true—Ben Bernanke definitely wants to avoid being forced into Quantitative Easing before the election... because doing so would essentially pick the winner for them... however... Barack Obama is likely to win regardless, and the global economy is in a desperate state. If Ben Bernanke waits until early next year, there might be nothing left to save.........🤣

We'll see 😉

Give me a break, kid. Some of us actually have lives and other stuff going on, so we can't be glued to this forum 24/7. And that whole "as soon as the price drops you can't get a word in" bit... seriously? You're tripping... tell me exactly how many times I've jumped in when prices take a dive.
Just keep spinning your little fairy tales... I don't need your "explanations," especially after watching you get absolutely shredded on other forums more times than I can count.
You're exhausting with these outbursts, but whatever... go ahead, keep playing your little games.

So now, suddenly, we’ve lost our confidence, our composure, and our chill... yet when metallurgy starts climbing, we’re all high-strung... and now the response is just "stop nitpicking"? It’s funny how we act like we're handing out lessons as if we were Boris Vujčić himself, isn't it? 😂

It's honestly embarrassing how little tolerance you have for market volatility...🙂

LOL..

As far as actual knowledge goes, you’re still nowhere near my level. I get it, though—it’s tough when you didn't have the luxury of a decent education or a degree...🙂 but don't sweat it, kid... this kind of stuff just isn't your calling...😁

And about gold? The trend for this year is heading south. You're out here popping champagne over a tiny percentage gain right before the next massive crash. Personally, I’m leaning way more toward shorting than going long until things actually shift. But hey, you’re such a "pro" trader, just keep making those little price predictions while the ship sinks...😛
Regarding getting washed... just let me know, I'll give you another scrubbing... won't be the first time, and seeing as how this is just another typical internet forum, it definitely won't be the last...☕

As if a college degree actually matters in the casino business.
You call it a trend; I call it manipulation. We've seen this exact "trend" play out before, and every single time, gold ends up hitting a new all-time high.
Shorting gold right now feels like volunteering for the Bundeswehr in '45. 🙂
