Does recreational cannabis use actually mess with your chakras? Like, how does it even work? Does it just slow down the whole journey toward having an out-of-body experience?

So, what kind of path are we actually talking about when it comes to this whole extraterrestrial experience thing? And honestly, what’s the end goal there? Like, what is an out-of-this-world experience supposed to give you? What's missing from life if you already have great food, a good massage, or even just great sex?

Nothing's missing from those things; it's the person who's lacking. An out-of-body experience. 😁

He's probably talking about that state where consciousness transcends the physical—realizing we aren't just trapped in our bodies or stuck in our heads. Why bother? To be a happier human, obviously. 🙂 Once you realize that neither your body nor your thoughts actually "produce" your consciousness—that it's actually the other way around, that consciousness is the foundation of everything and exists independently of flesh or thought—you start seeing the world differently. And the people in it, too.

So, what exactly does that "experience" look like when you're just smoking cannabis recreationally?🙂

Yeah, exactly... haha

it pulls you away
wraps everything in fog
drifts you away from the Great Reality
and if it leads you somewhere else entirely, all you're left with is an illusion—one where nothing exists except the echoes of your own... illusions
that keep ringing in your head long after the last bit of smoke has cleared

but just like how synthetic vitamins only really help if you're getting enough natural nutrition, cannabis can perhaps assist in replicating worlds from the Great Reality

you could always just take a (synthetic) pill that sends you straight into hallucinations, where it's nothing but your own narrow POV... but that's just not the same thing

you could pop a candy without even thinking about it, but... 😛

In terms of the Great Reality, there are just as many paths as there are individual "branches" of Unity (Soul). And honestly, there isn't such a thing as a hard path or an easy one

If some people need cannabis just to feel a physical sense of presence and connection to their own bodies, then honestly, help yourself 🙄

Beyond that, I'd say the material world will probably benefit from it; at least their "tools" will stay well-lubricated thanks to the herb

Cannabis serves those who struggle with an imbalance of matter—those who possess more matter than antimatter and can't find their way back to Nistica unless they try to kill off that excess material existence

Then again, there aren't many of us left who don't rely on things like drugs, glasses, pacemakers, or pills to act as gateways that control and direct our lives 😢

Look, I'm not saying anything about spirituality or out-of-body experiences here. I'm talking purely recreational stuff... you know, light up a pipe, get all hazy, maybe philosophize a bit, hook up with a girl, eat way too much junk food, and then pass out. 😁

What I actually want to know is... does using cannabinol and THC mess with your chakras?

I disagree that there isn't a connection, because it definitely impacts you both physically and spiritually.🤷
When you're high and overstimulated, you feel like you could go anywhere or do anything with anyone.
🙄Then again, you have people who end up getting sick rather than overeating, or those who deal with night tremors instead of just falling asleep.

So, I'm curious too...

Maybe if you're drunk and high at the same time, but definitely not otherwise.

I was chatting with iGod earlier and found out that cannabis can really open everything up—your senses, your chakras, all of it—but it comes with this heavy sensation, almost like a millstone around your neck. It’s this weird feeling where you think you’re reaching out to someone, but you’re actually just imagining it while your hands are tied and your feet are tangled. Honestly, that whole sensation makes me feel sick. It feels so fake... just when you think you've finally found some freedom, you suddenly snap and fall straight into an abyss. Personally, I’d much rather deal with being manic or hypo than feeling this disconnected and split between visions that might not even be mine. 🤷

People say something similar about how coffee and tea hit you... but hey, everyone's experience is different.
It also makes me 🙂 when I see how many people drown themselves in alcohol... but that's considered totally normal, acceptable, and even socially encouraged nowadays.

Cannabis is a sacred plant, a gift from God, and it provides so much. Yet, those in power put it on a blacklist and slapped all these labels on it that still make people look down on this little sprout today...
But maybe it had to happen that way. One day we'll understand why.😉

exactly. A person carries so many latent possibilities within them; genetic conditioning provides the foundation for brain development and everything else we have at our disposal. But if we don't exercise that, if we don't put in the actual work, there's no progress. We won't learn or realize anything if we don't push ourselves to engage our own strength, to accept and incorporate what the environment offers us. All those beautiful external stimuli will just echo nothing inside us. It's through repetition, practice, thinking, and feeling that we gradually develop and enrich ourselves. And that stays with us forever (well, unless Mr. Alzheimer or old lady dementia hits us first, then maybe not for long 😁). From there, we can move forward...

External chemical stimulants, whether natural or synthetic, are currently going to create some unusual, unnatural connections in our brains, resulting in equally strange effects. It simply means our organism isn't shaped—genetically or environmentally—to be capable of doing those things on its own.

Biologically speaking, if you let a chimpanzee get drunk, both he and his entire troop would end up in a leopard's jaws pretty quickly. And if cavemen had spent their time chewing on piles of tasty hallucinogenic leaves, I suspect we’d still be living under the rule of some great tribal mother cult today 🤣

So, you have these incredible visions, you feel amazing, you get the impression you're capable of creating grand works of art or science, and you drift through social and existential realities like you're sailing on clouds 🙄 and that lasts only as long as you have that chemistry in your system. After that...

Look at the little fruit after the rain:
It's full of drops, swaying in the breeze.
And it glistens, bathed in the sunlight,
The wonderful splendor of its branches.

But once the sun hides away just a bit,
All that magic vanishes.
She is again, just as she was at first,
An ordinary, somewhat pathetic little tree.

It slows down the journey to any meaningful experience, I guess.
The illusion of achieving a "fire" state comes from triggering and burning through your chakras—those energy or fire centers—using borrowed power from cannabis. Whatever you experience, you won't be able to stay there. You probably won't even dream again.
Burnt-out centers mean impaired perception, poor access, and a lack of environmental awareness. The ego becomes its own universe; it grows heavy, like a tank with a sputtering engine.
Someone once said it’s shameful to burn your own internal fires just to inflate the ego. That’s the gist of it.
By the way, the out-of-body experience you're thinking of is extra-physical. Chakras connect all bodies...

That was beautifully put. There's really no need to inflate the ego or try to turn a human being into some supernatural monster or a Frankenstein creature. It should be enough to nurture your own energy through sheer effort and hard work, so that in return, you can fully develop and refine your true self. That's the only way we actually stay grounded...

I mean, Huxley could have written *Brave New World* without any substances—he was just born a Huxley. Similarly, Freud probably would have stumbled upon his theories without whatever he was using, and Marley would have been singing and playing regardless of the smoke, simply because he was Marley. Maybe we should all just try to tap into our own internal systems and focus on our own mental centers to find ourselves, instead of relying on outside help. It's like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole... it just doesn't work...🤣

I’ve been through some pretty heavy stuff lately, and honestly, I think I’ve actually leveled up a bit because I started messing with THC.
You get this massive, fake sense that you’ve finally tapped into some kind of fiery, enlightened state just because you started messing around with activating your chakras—you know, those energy centers people obsess over—but honestly, you're just running on borrowed power. Whether it’s through some spiritual shortcut or just getting high on cannabis, it’s all an illusion of actual achievement. And once you go down that rabbit hole and experience that peak, there’s no going back; you can't just hang out in that headspace forever, and you definitely aren't ever going to find your way back to that same dream again.

I’ve actually managed to hit, and honestly, kind of blow past, some of the milestones I thought were untouchable.
Fried centers... man, that’s just code for having your perception totally shot. You lose your grip on everything—your access, your situational awareness, all of it. Your ego starts swelling up until it becomes its own little universe, hardening into this massive, stubborn tank where the engine is just coughing and sputtering in place, going nowhere fast.
So, someone out there actually had the nerve to claim that it’s straight-up shameful to burn through your own resources just to feed some massive ego, and honestly, they kind of hit the nail on the head, didn't they? That's really the core of the whole mess. It’s like watching someone set their own house on fire just so they can stand in the driveway looking like a hero while the neighbors watch—it’s pathetic, it’s messy, and at the end of the day, you're still standing there with nothing left but ash and a bruised pride. I mean, why even bother? You're basically sabotaging your own future just to win an argument that nobody else cares about, and frankly, it's a losing game every single time.

If you’re already acting like this much food is enough to send you into a total meltdown, just wait until you see how much of a wreck you'll be when the hotel room turns out to be a complete disaster.
So, someone was out there claiming it’s absolutely pathetic to just fan your own flames just to give your ego a little boost, and honestly, I can't say I disagree with the sentiment, even if the way they said it was a bit much. It’s that constant, exhausting need to perform, you know? Like people walking around acting like they're the main character in a blockbuster movie just because they managed to do something basic, and it really just feels hollow when you strip away all that manufactured bravado.

Look, I told you guys already, it’s not exactly shameful, it’s just... man, it's a bad call. Buying those cheap, fast-burning rolling papers when you've actually got some high-end Skunk sitting right there? That’s just asking for trouble. Honestly, half of it just drifts off into the wind before it even hits your lungs... what a waste.

I mean, at the end of the day, there’s just something about putting in the actual legwork yourself—you know, grinding away to grow your own veggies, getting a nice, golden tan under the sun, and then just absolutely chilling out. It's the dream, really.

We can't reach our true power—our actual selves—using something borrowed. Even those mentioned before were just dealing with existing forms; true shifts in consciousness require stepping into something entirely new.
There have been many thinkers and warriors who elevated life through new ways of being. Their achievements are what truly matter, as they facilitate a shift in consciousness for anyone who sees the necessity of that goal.
Power plants aren't meant for weekend tourists; they aren't "recreational" tools.
They often just provide a hollow illusion of progress.
Talking to these power plants isn't inherently evil, but if you approach them without knowledge or proper preparation, they end up consuming you. That foreign power takes hold, giving a false sense of achievement.
Even the ads claiming THC is trying to "enslave us" show that those people haven't understood a thing. They haven't started any new journeys; they just live within old dialogues that keep their energy stuck, patterns humans have known for thousands of years.
A power plant points toward the space beyond dialogue, but it doesn't actually lead you there. Most followers just let it hold their hand, convinced that fanning a flame is the same as moving forward. They are still just following the mechanical rhythms of reality.
The person stays stuck, spinning in circles.
It happens with any habit or addiction.
Without faith in one's own inner strength, a person can't go anywhere.
By stopping the use of any drugs, it is possible to "rise from the ashes."
There is a space beyond the mechanics of reality and linear flows, but a person conquers that only through their own power. How they find it is up to the spirit; even if that comes through smoke, it shouldn't require a permanent symbiosis with cannabis.
Everyone who gets hooked starts feeling proud of their "inclination," thinking they've found a shortcut to enlightenment.
Pride is usually a sign that you're drifting away from the soul.

without believing in your own strength, you’re basically going nowhere

People crave power. They convince themselves they need some external Force just to exist or create anything of value.

And it’s honestly pathetic... instead of digging deep to find that drive within themselves, they go hunting for it in incense, tea blends, or some magical dust. 🤣 It’s like they’ve convinced themselves they’re fundamentally broken, so they start reaching for these mental crutches—grabbing whatever fancy, jewel-encrusted support they can find to lean on. They get so used to those artificial stabilizers that their actual natural ability just withers away. All it takes is a patch of black ice or a slick hardwood floor to send the whole thing crashing down like a cheap vase.

And then what? Then they realize their mental muscles have completely atrophied and all those little shortcuts didn't actually build any real strength. Sometimes, they don't even have the capacity to realize it anymore. 🤷

Do they really feel that weak, that helpless, that incapable that they need chemical intervention? Is their brain truly unable to produce something on its own? It’s almost as if they’ve viewed themselves as some sort of disadvantaged underdog since birth, deciding that due to "natural reasons," they can't achieve their goals without a constant external prosthesis or a flywheel to keep them spinning. 😕 Ugh, I imagine that’s a pretty miserable way to live... 🤣🤣

My bad, 60 Minutes, if I misread you... but is this just your take? Because you’re out here writing like you've got all the facts when it's really just your opinion.

It’s hard to even put what I go through from time to time into words. It feels like nothing less than pure love. Honestly, it seems like something you just can't find much anymore in a world full of people who don't matter.

Just peace and quiet. 🙂

P.S.
Just scan... enjoy it while it feels good and don't overthink the chakras. If smoking cannabis doesn't open that door to an out-of-body experience, maybe something else will. You can't force that kind of thing. That's just my humble, unproven take. Some things you just shouldn't push.
