I was wondering, does it actually make any sense to send them a list of all the taxpayers where the process isn't going through?

The folks over at FIFA are just offering to send tech support to my house...
Can anyone walk me through the unzipping process?

Now, I was looking through the instructions for submitting attachments via the GFI-POD system at FIFA, and it mentions that these files need to be PDFs generated directly from a program like Word or Excel. Apparently, you aren't supposed to print them out, sign them by hand, and then scan them back into a PDF, since everything relies on an electronic signature.
I suppose I’m wondering if this same rule applies to the attachments sent along with the return itself. So, if I were to create a .doc or .xlsx file specifying the responsible party, save that directly as a PDF, and then apply my electronic signature using my authorization, would that be acceptable?

Since we operate as an accounting firm, we manage our own dedicated tax platform and handle a large volume of clients through it—it's quite a massive operation. Where exactly am I supposed to enter the EIN for another client we'll be managing via our system? Is it just me, or does the whole process feel significantly more convoluted than it was in the old software?

Robert Thomas11 said:So, we’ve finished all the paperwork—does that mean we don't actually have to manually enter anything into the application ourselves? I noticed their Tax ID isn't showing up among the existing ones we manage through the IRS portal...
thank you so much for the response...
Carol Ward3 said:The IRS is flagging my return because they claim my 2013 prepayments are invalid. =$0.00?!
I’m carrying over a net operating loss, I don't actually owe anything this year, and logically, the calculation for those prepayments should be $0.00.
I suppose I could just enter 1.00 to see if they'll finally leave me alone, or what?
Carol Ward3 said:Even if I put in a 1, it won't work, since apparently their math doesn't allow for that either. 🙂
Anyway, regardless of the outcome, I ended up just submitting it with a zero...
