P.S.
Just so there's no confusion, nothing Ronald Rogers27 said actually bothered me. I see his behavior as part of the forum's dynamic—it's more entertaining than anything else. What actually got to me was what I said myself; it hit a nerve regarding Vertigo m, simply because it touched on a very sensitive subject for me.

I know... Ronald Rogers27 was just picking a fight with me, and that quote was actually your reply, briskraven28; that's my point, you didn't quote me (😢). Honestly, this obsession with "success"—that "raw nerve" of yours, that sensitive need for validation—it feels more like being spoiled, if you ask me (but hey, Vertigo knows you best).

I read it, but there clearly seems to have been a double misunderstanding.😲 It happens on forums sometimes. Success isn't my Achilles' heel; it's my own struggle with anxiety and depression that I'm dealing with.

Vertigo is a smart woman.

briskraven28 said:This kind of inhibition stifles imagination, which effectively traps a person in a state where they can't see any alternative solutions.

Landing in that state wasn't an accident; it's teaching you something. Accepting the doctor's diagnosis of a "sensitive structure" offers a bit of comfort, but it isn't enough—it just keeps you hovering on the edge of a total collapse. You need to lean into that frustration until you hit your limit—just make sure someone is there to hold your hand, because even your therapist can't do more than that. That process teaches you how to prevent that structure from being so "vulnerable," helping you find the balance between being creative and losing your mind.
A friend of mine—a gay guy—hit a wall of total depression after a few disastrous breakups, only to resurface months later with this self-deprecating grin: "I eventually grew to loathe myself for all that self-pity."

It really comes down to finding a way to flip the script.
That extreme approach doesn't work for me, but it’s also a mistake to confuse an explanation with a solution. An explanation is actually part of the problem, not the cure.
Ultimately, I have to strengthen my core personality through medication and other methods alike, working as hard as possible to increase my stress tolerance and learn to manage and resolve tension effectively.
I have to give everything I've got to find that strength. After all, if I can't find my own inner power, that is exactly what medication is for—to act as a temporary crutch.
Right now, I need to focus on pulling myself out of this slump. Whether I'll bounce back remains to be seen.
In the end, I've been through this before; things were even worse then, and I made it out.

There's an old saying where I'm from that a kick in the pants is a step forward. I had a bit of a breakdown yesterday, but I've picked myself up.🙂
I am a fighter, too. 🙂
Whatever. It's either living or just surviving, and it's worth fighting to truly live.🙂

Look, all the mess we deal with in this world comes down to one thing: people being totally disconnected from one another, and honestly, your own issues aren't any different. You really need to try harder to actually connect with the people around you and just accept them for who they are. Now, don't get me wrong—I'm not saying you have to go out and grab a beer with every single person you meet; you should be picky about who you spend your time with, obviously. But you've got to work on this internal mindset where you find ways to unconditionally accept everyone exactly as they stand. It doesn't mean you have to like them—God knows I don't like everyone—but just accept them. If you actually try to build that sense of connection between yourself and others, it’ll pay off, because you're finally tackling the root cause instead of just wasting your breath trying to mask the symptoms.

Lisa Morales4:
Look, folks around here always say that getting kicked in the teeth is just part of moving forward, and honestly, after the absolute disaster I went through yesterday—I mean, I was practically at war with myself—I’ve finally managed to pull my head out of the sand and get back on my feet.🙂
Look, I’m right there in the trenches with you, fighting the good fight. 🙂
Look, it’s either living life to the fullest or just barely scraping by like some kind of bottom-feeder, and frankly, I’m tired of seeing people just settle for existing when you really have to fight tooth and nail just to stay alive and keep your head above water!🙂
Just shut up and stay out of it already! 😍

Why does it feel like everyone's ganging up on me? Is it just because I'm being honest? 😬

Lisa Morales4 and slymaker9... Honestly, the best cure for depression is a good 8 inches (and I don't mean anything bad by it)... 😍 😂

An explanation alone just keeps you trapped in that endless cycle of medication...

So, I have to strengthen my own internal structure—through meds, sure, but through other ways too—and work as hard as possible to build up my stress tolerance and actually manage it.
I have to give it everything I've got to find that strength. After all, if I don't have my own strength, that's what the medication is for—to give me a push, a temporary crutch.
Now I just need to push through this rough patch, and we'll see if things turn around.
In the end, I've been here before—things were even worse then, and I made it out.

It seems clear to you that you could manage without the pills right now—you've already anticipated this... you're just stalling a bit to give yourself time to process it all.😁

Alright, look... To quote briskraven28... If it drops below 15, they'll need pills. But things are way better without them, right? 😍

It’s much better to stay within that sweet spot without relying on tablets. You agree, Lisa Morales4? Or maybe not?! 😉

I feel like we might have actually hung out somewhere once, you and I. 🙄

To me, it seems like you're just desperate for someone to treat you with some real old-school hospitality, and you're long overdue for someone to frankly tell you exactly what they think about your... well, let's just say you won't convince me to be vulgar here, even in my thoughts. 🙂 🙂

I wouldn't join that little circle of yours, no way. 😲

By the way, I had no idea briskraven28 was some kind of sex therapist... when did we start discussing that? 🤔

If you’re measuring under 6 inches, you might need some Viagra—if you can manage to stretch it to 6.5, consider it a win for Humanity... but hitting 6.7? Now you’re riding high. 😂

Come on, I'm just kidding. You can see briskraven28 totally gets what I'm saying. And you? You're acting like a total teenager with a crush. 😍

Even if we could actually get caught up in that magical loop together, you're over 12,000 miles away from me... And honestly, I have zero desire to travel or move to Australia. That would be the last thing my wild life needs right now. 😬

My goals are way more low-key. I want to get into the EU, but between the paperwork headaches and the fact that my German isn't great, it’s been an uphill battle. I'll figure something out eventually...

To be real with you, I'm not some kind of therapist, for crying out loud... I'm not a hero or anything, but when it comes to the progress of Humanity... 😂

briskraven28, you really cracked me up. Thanks for that. 👍

Was that supposed to be a compliment?
I honestly don't know why you feel the need to get under my skin like this. 😢
It feels like you just have a grudge against Americans living abroad.

Even if you and I could find ourselves in that endless loop together, you're 7,000 miles away from me... And I have zero desire to travel, let alone move to Australia. That would be the last thing I'd want in my already chaotic life.

Oh, a "chaotic" life, is it? 🙄
I’m not much for packing up my whole life and moving either... unless it’s for something truly incredible—then sure, I’m all about making big changes. Otherwise, I’m pretty set in my ways. You're just picking at me for no reason and stirring things up.

My goals are much more modest. I want to get into the EU, but because of certain paperwork issues and the fact that I don't know German, it hasn't been easy. I'll figure something out eventually...

Sir, being an outsider isn't even a hassle; the EU is tiny.
Think about it: you could grab a bike tonight, ride through Mexico, and be back in America or Canada before midnight. Even heading over to St. Stephen wouldn't be bad... there's plenty of room to roam. Enough to keep you spinning in circles for the next three lifetimes.

To be honest, I'm not exactly therapy... I'm not exactly riding a white horse for the progress of Humanity, either.

I don't really follow what you're talking about or why you're bothering yourself with all this in such a short life, but it's nice to see you becoming "honest."

You even laughed.
And you're actually grateful for it.
You seem to be totally pain-free. 👍

Where did you get that figure from, and what state are we talking about—7 cm flaccid or erect? 😕🤷

I remember some old debate going on over on a forum once. But hey, if we're talking an erection, then yeah, we're definitely looking at Dick the Mighty.

I feel like I’m constantly packing my bags and moving from one country to the next. It’s become a way of life for me. Back in 2007, I was living in the States, then I spent a little time over in Denmark, moved back to the US, and then spent two years in Canada. Honestly, the constant moving is starting to wear me down. Right now, I'm staying in Mexico, but man, I can't help but smile thinking about being back in America.
