is it just me, or did your username change color????????
Get that hair dyed immediately!!!!!
That shade suits you better (and I prefer it too, 🙂).
Or maybe we're all just doomed? We can barely manage to see our own families here, let alone anything else.
My folks are already on my case. They want me home in the real world, not stuck in this virtual one.
I keep thinking about turning a new leaf—one with fewer Google searches, fewer sales taxes, fewer income taxes, fewer IP addresses... maybe then I'll actually look back on this with some fondness... though probably not.🙂
Once finals are over, I’m seriously considering a change in "perspective." There’s wisdom in that old saying: less is more. 😁
I won't need to change my handle... just start taking it seriously (both the imagery and the content).
Just leave her alone for a second—let her actually process the mess she just escaped! I mean, honestly, it’s like you’re acting as if you haven't dealt with all that same nonsense and craziness from certain... well, you know who. She deserves a win here. Instead of worrying about her "clout" or whatever, we should probably just be happy she's focusing on what actually puts money in her pocket.

How does that rental income section work in the supplemental info?
I can’t for the life of me remember how I filed it last year to make it stick.
Just spinning my wheels with these tax forms... zero progress. 🤷
I think you dealt with something similar last year, too.
I think I get the gist—so the company basically rents its own buildings back from itself?? Man, I’d love to see how that actually plays out...

No, he’s just a private citizen. He hasn't registered as a business or a freelancer or anything like that. Instead, he filed with the RNC to rent out his own properties and formally notified the FBI that he wants to be taxed as a corporate entity.

It’s almost surreal coming here and not being entirely certain whether you'll actually show up... honestly, what a whirlwind...
I suppose we'll eventually adjust, though I suspect things won't feel quite the same...
If you're just heading out for some downtime, you truly have earned it, so please, go ahead and enjoy every second...

Hey Henry Edwards33....it’s gonna be seriously weird without all those little lowercase letters everywhere. 🙂

Awwwwwwww 😍
Why stop at just a few more sensitive letters? 🤷 🤣
Trust me, some people would absolutely lose their minds if they saw this 🥳
I’m planning to keep dropping by for a coffee with you all every once in a while. It’s nice having a spot to hang out without any pressure, just keeping things casual 😉

Well, I suppose I just have a weakness for seeing stuff like this.

I’ve got a sudden, inexplicable craving for pancakes, even though it’s getting a little late in the evening...
So, I thought I’d share a few with you all... just the simple kind, topped with some jam, rather than those heavy, calorie-laden syrups that make it impossible to actually get any sleep later. :-))

I’m basically a zombie today. My brain hasn't even checked in for work yet, let alone actually showed up. 😢

Don't sweat it, those are just the side effects. It usually takes about two or three years to really feel like yourself again after dealing with that whole hormonal mess. You'll get through this, don't worry...

Stopping by for a coffee here for the first time, and I have to say, I’m really enjoying the vibe.
I just wanted to chime in quickly regarding that thread about online banking—since I’ve managed accounts for five or six different banks personally and professionally—for anyone who doesn't deal with a massive volume of transactions. In my experience, Chase is hands down the best choice. You don't need to mess around with card readers, physical tokens, USB sticks, or those annoying little sheets with PIN codes. They just have you install their app on your phone (which is free), and your phone essentially acts as your secure token—anytime, anywhere.
It’s honestly a game-changer. As a small business owner, I’m looking at roughly $2.75 per month for online banking plus $6.75 for account maintenance. On top of that, they include monthly electronic statements for $0.33/page, which has basically cut my overhead in half compared to the big national banks I used to use—the ones that offer $6.75 limited online access but then nickel-and-dime you for every little thing... To get set up, all you really need is your business registration paperwork and an ID (unlike some places, like the Chamber of Commerce, where they demand a whole new set of certified documents from the registry, which costs extra, not to mention the nightmare of paying $10 monthly plus $67 one-time setup fees).
Now, if you have a huge volume of transactions, Chase might end up being more expensive, but if your transaction count is relatively low, this is definitely the way to go. Those fixed fees at other institutions are just too steep for small contractors and freelancers.
Hopefully, this helps someone out!

Go ahead and show her some support—honestly, who knows if she even realizes the kind of mess she’s stepped into?

Thanks everyone... I'll try my best to fill your shoes, Henry, so you can finally get some rest—and hey, maybe after that, you'll feel like switching things up again! 🙂

Even if you give it everything you've got... honestly, probably not enough. 😢
...maybe take a break, and who knows, you might decide to change things up again later, 🙂
I could always just go gray. 😬
Have fun 😉
