Well, I guess you all finally know who's calling the shots now—the one in charge of handing out justice. Honestly, we haven't quite figured it all out yet... one minute I’m getting lectured with a ruler, and the next, it feels like I'm being scolded with a frying pan—good grief! I'm just looking for someone big and tough to step in, someone who can actually keep things under control!
Still though... I have to ask: what should I do with my supply of two-ply? It's the same stuff I've always used, or should I...??

See how easily I can get you talking? 🤣
I knew exactly how to get you fired up enough to drop some wisdom, 😁

I’ve been struggling with this for three days now. I'm just sitting here waiting for an answer because I have no idea what might happen—since it's a two-part form (though these flimsy things are starting to feel more like single sheets lately, especially since they rarely use them given how high the federal filing fees are) and I don't have a third backup. They're just waiting for me to pass out from the stress.
But hey... word on the street is that the IRS is running low on work, so to keep themselves busy, they might start handing out fourth copies. Rumor has it they'll be bright yellow, or maybe a vivid red, covered in tiny little violet patterns. You know, just to showcase the sheer "grandeur" of our tiny—okay, let's call it micro, or even nano—economy.

I’ve honestly never been more stoked about the mod lineup, even though I’m sticking around myself—nothing personal, Carol Price4😁. It’s a bummer that Lily P. isn't moderating anymore, though; truly a shame. I mean, who’s gonna have my back now when I inevitably start rambling on about nothing? 😢

No worries, it’s entirely possible this new group might be even more intense... It feels like I can't even breathe without getting flagged.
It just hit me... I actually love our moderators, even if they are a total handful—absolute chaos, pure intimidation, and just a whole lot of attitude. But honestly? We probably should have invented them in the first place. I mean, who else would keep the "regular characters" around here from biting each other's heads off??

Oh, please—you'd find a way to talk even if you were choking, you just can't stay quiet.🤣
We love you too, though! Every time you drop by, you stir things up and shake the whole place awake—and you know what they say about making an entrance...😁

Muah!! So, the wife thinks I'm a donkey—well, let's be more accurate and say an old donkey—but now I've got proof that some people actually think a bit higher of me!! Moving from being a donkey to a horse... that's not nothing, right?
And Happy Birthday again, just so everyone knows, it's coming up in ten days!!

So, after doing absolutely nothing all Friday afternoon, then taking Saturday off, followed by Easter, then the Easter Monday holiday, and then Tuesday... well, let's call Tuesday the "warm-up" day—how about we actually get a move on? Grab your pens and some scratch paper and start knocking out those final reports. Even God took a day off, so surely you guys can handle more than just five minutes of work?!? Honestly, it’s time to get to it!

Just reporting the facts here—revenue is down 25% compared to last year, which was already 25% lower than the year before that, and so on. It’s a straight downward spiral. So, cheers to our fearless leaders and this whole "brilliant" administration!! They were actually the very first ones to pull the exact same stunts as everyone else—they're the reason we're stuck in this mess. We're basically just circling the drain at this point.
Note: If anyone (and I mean *if*...) manages to bail us out of this hole they dug for us, please send an email to this forum address. If there's actually someone left who's willing to read it...

Yeah, tell me about it. We're basically neck-deep in it. I don't know about other accountants out there, but I spent my entire Easter working. Honestly, I would've been much better off just staying home and burying myself under a mountain of blankets. I can't stand politics, but people have started making it everyone else's problem. It seems like the bigger the crisis gets, the more we turn into monsters toward one another. And I'm talking about us little guys—regular people. Not the gods up in the clouds. 😉 Man, I’m seriously starting to want to hide from society, Jessica Grant56...

Everywhere you look, it’s nothing but flashy packaging with absolutely zero substance inside...
It’s a good thing we aren't all total pessimists—if we were, we probably would have all lost our minds by now.
As the great Vlado Brkanić once put it—something along the lines of: "The administration is acting like an orchestra on the Titanic—they just keep playing while the ship goes down."

Honestly, this deserves a PUBLIC reprimand—how can you say women haven't been working? Do you seriously not count things like laundry, cooking, and cleaning as actual labor? 🙂
And for the record, I have to report that I spent Monday working my tail off, just like so many other accountants out there...

I'm right there with you. Between baking seven different kinds of cookies, prepping the Easter ham, dyeing eggs, and ironing holiday outfits... when am I supposed to find time to actually file my taxes with the IRS?!

Yeah, I totally blanked on the egg thing—my bad, consider this my public apology...

Wait, what? It’s way too late for eggs—Easter was ages ago. Are we really going to spend the entire year obsessing over eggs and sweet excuses now? ☕

Good grief... I honestly can't believe it... how long has it been since anyone actually showed up here?
What kind of accountants are you people, if you aren't even grabbing a coffee together? 🙂
Well, fine, let me make it up to you—on me.
