I think you totally missed the point here.
Look, just imagine you’ve got a driving instructor who only tells you what *not* to do and refuses to give you any actual correct info.
So, you sit down in the car and he tells you to start the engine, right?
- You’re like, "Wait, how?" but he just won't tell you.
Then you try to mess with the AC vent...
- and boom, he hits you with a slap.
After a million tries, you finally figure out where the key goes... you go to turn it, and he slaps you again.
How on earth are you supposed to know you need to shift into neutral or hit the clutch if it's already in gear?
....and actually getting the damn car moving? I mean, you'd be totally screwed trying to figure that out on your own.
Or knowing that you have to press the clutch when you're shifting gears....
There is zero chance you’d ever wrap your head around it unless someone actually sat you down and explained it!

Maybe you could try finding a different instructor—someone who might be willing to actually walk you through everything step-by-step
I suppose there are still people like that out there somewhere

it really boils down to this: "don't act like that."
"don't ask me questions like that"
"don't do this... you can't... no..."
it's basically the same vibe for your entire life.
that was my huge epiphany yesterday, 100%—nobody ever actually taught me HOW to do things... they just spent all their time telling me what I wasn't allowed to do... what was unacceptable and whatnot...
so now I'm just playing the part of a houseplant.... acting all polite and stuff...

Well, you certainly can teach yourself if you have the desire to learn and—more importantly—if you're willing to put in the necessary work.
Even through a process of trial and error—though I suppose that's just a polite way of saying making too many mistakes.

Theoretically, sure. But in reality? Not a chance.
It’s like there are a billion things going wrong and only one single thing actually working right.

Perhaps if you actually took the time to read the owner's manual, you might find yourself a bit closer to a solution
Alternatively, you could always just head over to a local mechanic
And honestly—how can you be so certain there is only ever one single way to fix this?

My bad, I’m crashing the party again—I clearly didn't read the whole thread closely enough... so, what’s actually eating at you? Is this just a matter of having nobody to talk to? Don't tell me you don't have any friends left?

wrong 😉
Life isn't like shifting gears in a car. You have x number of right moves and x number of wrong ones. And honestly, nobody can tell you with any certainty what your choices today will actually do to you in five or ten years—unless you count those notorious types, like the one who started this thread.😁
Why does it matter if nobody taught you how to live? I guess you're supposed to just listen to your gut. What do you love? What do you enjoy? Just follow your heart, I suppose.

It’s honestly visible just from how your father reacted. Look, I don’t want to be judgmental—and obviously, this is just my own subjective take—but if one of my closest family members attempted suicide, the very first thing I’d do once I was certain the immediate danger had passed and they were physically safe would be to ask *why*. I’d sit down and actually talk to them.
And frankly, I don't see why there's such an immediate rush to list off medications. Those should really be treated as a last resort...
Besides... it’s incredibly difficult to weigh in on something like this when you only have half the story.
But if they didn't "teach" you properly—and hey, that doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing; I grew up being yelled at constantly, but it made me the responsible adult I am today. Not every harsh lesson is a tragedy; sometimes, those who were never corrected end up much worse off. If that's the case, then just accept it. We all mess up, including our parents (assuming they are indeed the ones in this situation), and you just have to start learning for yourself. It’s like what you said about cars: nobody is going to teach you how to drive perfectly just by lecturing you. To truly learn how to handle a vehicle, you need hands-on experience that no instructor can simply "install" in your brain. They can explain the mechanics, but eventually, you have to find the clutch yourself. That’s just how life works. You have to take that first step. If you stall the engine the first time, it’s not the end of the world. If you fail the second time, you try a different approach and eventually succeed. You can't reap any rewards if you aren't willing to take a risk....

I’m honestly curious how they’d even react, because most of the time nobody gives a damn about how I feel anyway. It's always just people looking for an excuse to mess with me or tear me down like I'm some kind of loser. I’m mostly thinking about those absolute morons from my high school class. Just typical spoiled brats who have everything handed to them on a silver platter and then decide their only hobby is picking on someone. They picked me. It’s been this same stupid cycle for four freaking years now, and nobody does a thing to stop it. Everyone knows what's going on, everyone sees it, yet nothing ever changes.😠

So I finally swung by the psychiatrist's office today:
- Zoloft
- Xanax
- Solian
Man, I’m seriously wondering how much this stuff is gonna wreck my liver, but honestly? It feels freaking incredible!! I'm so high right now I can't even put it into words 😁
I'm basically gonna be getting "hammered" on this crap every single day—strictly following the prescription, obviously!

Look, Jerry Martinez5, I’ve got this messed up situation that’s been dragging on for four years now. Everyone just brushes me off, and whenever I try to speak up, people start yelling about how it’s "just a joke." I can't take it anymore. Honestly, I feel like I'm gonna snap... One day, some guy actually grabbed a knife, came at me, and started stabbing me until my hands were covered in blood... and nobody did a damn thing. Like, seriously, who am I even talking to here??? 😠 Stabbing is a joke! Quoth God, I have never heard anything like that!!! And now someone has the nerve to say it isn't serious!!! 😳

Look, if that guy comes at you again, just kick him—hard—right in the groin...

Thanks, but I'm being serious here—that stuff actually worked for me and a few others back when we were kids. Only difference was, we were trying to get girls to touch us, not trying to slice them up with knives 🙂. We were young, hormones were all over the place... I once took a knee to the groin from one girl, and another gave me a slap so hard my face still burns thinking about it 👍... but hey, we're on good terms now whenever we run into each other 🙂.
Basically, you just have to show some teeth and the little idiots will back off...

Wait, why are you seeing a doctor for this???
And what is the point of taking 🤷
anyway?

Solian functions as both an antipsychotic and an antidepressant. I was just digging into it because I was curious, and apparently, while the FDA doesn't approve its use here in the States, it's perfectly legal to use over in Europe. 🙂 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amisulpride
