You can't have a movie without a romance, right? Without a love story, you lose the housewives and all those soap opera addicts who make up half the audience. Let's say Max falls for this young, dark-haired girl from Chicago. You know how these Hollywood flicks go—it's always some impossible, star-crossed love where everyone is rooting against them, but they just can't stay away. His father refuses to let him marry a girl from the wrong side of the tracks, and her family thinks he's nothing more than a Nazi. By the end of the movie, Max invites his parents over to visit Auschwitz, and he and his girl ride off in a carriage toward the sunset while some romantic score swells in the background.
