I have a massive problem here and I urgently need some help!!!!! Basically, after I signed up at Chase Bank, I received a link on my phone to activate the mobile banking app... but I have no clue how to actually get it running since I don't even know how to set up the internet on my phone, and from what I can see, you can't use it without data... please correct me if I'm wrong.... All I really want to do is withdraw some cash from an ATM using my debit card. I tried a few days ago, but it just wouldn't work... I attempted to enter the "initial PIN" that was sent to me via mail, but it failed. I kept trying the same thing over and over and ended up exceeding the number of attempts allowed 😢. Every single time, the ATM would just spit out a receipt saying the PIN was incorrect! So, does this mean the initial PIN is completely useless? Am I supposed to create my own new PIN through the mobile app first before I can even touch an ATM???? That’s how I’ve interpreted it... please, someone help me... thanks! P.S. I'm using a Sony Ericsson K750i.....

Hold on a second...

Did you just open a checking account, or what exactly are we looking at here?

The PIN you received for your Chase account isn't actually your card's PIN—that’s why you kept getting those error messages. Your actual card PIN should arrive via mail about a week after the physical card hits your doorstep. If it hasn't shown up by then, just head down to a local Chase branch and have them reissue it.
Regarding the mobile banking app—first, get an agent on the line to set up your online access. From there, you can either post back here or call the number listed in those instructions they gave you at the branch 😉

It’s possible... though I actually went ahead and picked up the card myself at a local Chase branch about ten days ago....

Well, you should be getting your PIN delivered straight to your house every day. Just hang tight until the end of the week—if it doesn't show up, just swing by any Chase branch and have them issue you a new 😉
. Chase is basically the service that lets you check your balances, pay your bills, top up your phone, and all that jazz. Make sure you hang onto that initial PIN they sent you until your mobile data is actually up and running 😉

Just a quick one regarding MIT

Whenever I try to make a foreign currency payment—using my foreign currency account—the only destination option that pops up is the exact same account I'm paying from.

It’s the same deal if I attempt a foreign currency transfer from my standard US dollar checking account—once again, it just points back to my foreign currency account as the only available destination.

The thing is, what I’m actually trying to do is transfer some funds over to my Moneybookers account.

I could use some help here... I installed both the standard mobile banking app and the secondary security version on my iPhone (by the way, what's the point of the second one?), and after downloading them from Apple Music, I logged into my online banking portal to set everything up. I grabbed the activation key, entered the code into the mobile app, set my PIN, and everything worked perfectly—I could see my balance and all my account details. But then, things went sideways. I tried opening that second security app, and it asked for the activation key again. Since I had already navigated away from the banking page, I didn't have the code anymore. I ended up requesting a new activation key through the website, which I entered into the security app. It finally opened the main menu, but there’s nothing there—just a blank white screen that says "Main Menu." To make matters worse, whenever I try to log back into the regular mobile app and enter my PIN, I get this:

Status: 7

Error Description: Your token is locked!

So, what should I do now? Has anyone else dealt with this? HELP me out please.

I have a question regarding my Chase mobile app. I just paid my first bill through the app today, and I’m wondering how to save a copy of the paid receipt—essentially, how do I ensure I have proof of payment for those who might doubt me? What steps should I take to save a record of this transaction? I didn't see an option to do so during the checkout process.

Does anyone know how I can save a receipt from my Chase mobile app to use as proof of payment?

So, if you check your payment history, all the details are right there, starting with the transaction ID
Oh, and you can also grab a receipt under the options menu—they'll send it via email or snail mail. Just a heads up though, they do charge a fee for that (I think it's the same for digital ones too)

I see, that clarifies things perfectly. Thank you. Regarding the fees, wouldn't those be waived for me since I have a flexible billing plan?

Nah, I think they always charge you if you ask for a payment confirmation, since they treat it like some kind of premium extra. Personally, I just save everything directly to my laptop through the Chase app for free.

Wait, or maybe...
For any payments made through the mobile app, you can request to have the confirmation sent straight to your email

See! Maybe we should actually just ask them, it might be totally free 🤷

I’m also getting ready to use e-Zelle, but since I don't have my laptop on hand these days, I ended up paying via the Chase mobile app... hmm. How can I verify this? I've read through everything, but I can't find any mention of it anywhere.🤷

Should I just shoot them an email? 🤷

It’s not actually free. You can grab the PDF version for nothing, but if you want them to mail you a hard copy or email a formal confirmation, there's a fee. That said, if you're on the Dynamic Pricing plan, you get a 50% discount. 😉

That’s helpful, thanks for the heads-up... how much does it usually cost?
