Arthur Ross said:I don't quite follow these $60 monthly bills.😕
It's not that we are planning to ditch the standard checking account—since it's actually safer for PayPal (lower limits)—but if there's significant savings involved, maybe we'd take the risk...
Essentially, there isn't much difference left... nothing besides that Zaba fan option.
In the dynamic tier, do I still get the free power of attorney, or am I looking at an extra charge?

The Zaba fan family plan is honestly the best and most cost-effective option. Since your husband handles the payments for both of you rather than paying for everything individually, you essentially get double the value on everything from your bills to your digital banking and cards.

How is that not obvious? You said you’re paying like 7 or 8 bills online every month. They charge a buck or two per transaction $0.67. I pull in roughly $5.00/month, which adds up to about $60 a year (15 x 12 months).

Power of attorney is free. Here’s the breakdown:

It really is that
simple.😁

Arthur Ross, if that's the case, we’re left with no choice but to let you foot the bill for the whole family.😍

We’re clearly talking past each other here... Just switch the fan to dynamic so you aren't stuck paying an extra $60 every single year... 😉

Does anyone know how to actually use the travel insurance from my Zabka fan? I’m getting ready for a trip and usually just buy coverage from an insurance company. Then I remembered I have this dynamic Zabka fan benefit and figured I might as well use it. I can't find any info on how to trigger it, though.
Allianz would normally send me instructions and a contact number... 🤷

I tried reaching out to my banker, but had no luck. So, I thought I'd try asking here...

I've got a Zaba fan and I read they offer
covering travel costs for relatives visiting the US up to $300 and
lodging for those relatives up to $300

So, if my sister flies in from overseas, does that mean I actually get $300 for her flight plus $300 for her stay? And we can do this every single year?? 🤷🤷
Seems a bit too good to be true. What’s the catch here? I don't really get it. 🤷

That’s about accident coverage... Kind of like having roadside assistance...

I recently noticed that even though I have the standard Zaba fan package (which is supposed to include free foreign currency account maintenance), they’re still hitting me for $1.75 every month for 😠
I filed a complaint and got a positive response—they actually refunded everything from the last two-plus years back to my account. But get this: next month is looking like another $1.75 hit! When I followed up, my personal banker just told me the foreign currency account "isn't linked to the fan package" and that I have to physically go into a branch to request it. Seriously? Isn't it their job to link the account when I sign up for the package, or at least mention it once during these past two years as a customer??

Anyway, I wanted to give you all a heads-up because I bet they're doing this to others too. $1.75 a month doesn't seem like much, and it's easy to miss, but just imagine how much money the bank rakes in through these shady little tactics! Foreign currency account fees should be waived with any fan package. Check your statements!
The sheer nerve of it is honestly nauseating. I'm just counting down the days until I can ditch this bank for good... 😠

Dynamic Bundle

...

Plus
- 15 free domestic transfers via online or mobile banking and recurring payments,
- an overview of how to use electronic payments through online and mobile apps,
- zero fees for setting up automatic bill pay for Chase accounts and affiliates.

Just a heads-up for anyone using the Dynamic Bundle alongside mobile banking—make sure you actually have those 15 free transactions included. I noticed that while three of my online transfers went through without any fees (just like the bundle promises), they ended up charging me a dollar for eight different mobile transfers to Chase, plus another couple of bucks for transfers to outside banks.

EDIT: I did a little digging into my statements, and over the last two and a half years, they've nickeled and dimed me about $65 for stuff that was supposed to be covered by the bundle fee. 😠 😠 😠

I ended up getting hit with transaction fees for stuff that—according to the fine print—was supposed to be completely free. Just one of those annoying little setbacks, I guess.

Ever since I switched to a dynamic billing cycle, my transactions haven't even touched my account.

Not for me either. Doesn't work in a fast-paced environment or within a tight-knit family setting.

It’s possible your standing orders used up all the free transactions you have available.

I only have this "Payment Assistant" option available to me. Does that include any bill payments without those extra service fees?

I made my first payment yesterday and noticed they tacked on some transaction fees. It wasn't a huge amount, but I was just wondering—is that actually supposed to happen?
